We were sweating just sitting down. We tried to stay optimistic and headed toward the trampolines, but it was so crowded that it was nearly impossible to jump. There were maybe 10 small benches for approximately 50 parents. Where was everyone supposed to sit? I asked whether a manager was available and explained the situation to the employees at the front. They were understanding, took my phone number and said a manager would call me. No one ever did. I also emailed corporate and received no response. We stayed for less than 20 minutes despite paying for two hours for our child and one hour for both adults. Between the broken air conditioning, extreme heat, overcrowding, lack of seating, pricing difference and complete lack of follow-up, this was a terrible experience. Don't waste your time or money at this location.

There are four big pine trees with separate retaining walls around three of them for owners to sit down. With it being so close to the bay, there's often a nice breeze that goes through the park. There's no divide between small dogs and big dogs, so it's best to just keep an eye on your dog, and many owners around here are usually respectful. The street parking immediately adjacent to the park is free, however, it has a limit of 30 minutes, and the parking meter workers are strict on it if they're around. I bring my dog here around lunch time because those who live/ work in the area tend to bring their dogs during their break time and my dog gets his socialization time. They close 8am-11am MWF for maintenance/ cleaning. Currently, both gates are broken so it's not as secure as it should be, and who knows when the city will actually fix it. There're a few agility structures and a water dispenser. The children's park itself looks pretty cool for kids with a lot of structures with slides and swings. There's also another separate area with fixed exercise equipment that looks well- maintained. The water feature in the park is a water feature, not a pool.

For laser they have laser tag and Gellyball options, we chose laser tag. This includes Gun with target sensor and inflatable bunker set up. It had 14 guns, the taggers have sensors on them. So No helmets or face masks, safe during pandemic. it's on the top of the tagger "clear dome". It makes sounds when you are getting hit. He set lives to 500-900 lives every hit is 2 damage points. He went over the rules for every game before each play. The game inudes, free for all Team game Free for all Last man standing Protect your leader Line em' up 1vs1 Each game twice. He even sent liability insurance to the park community. They also have Bounce houses , mobile laser tag , obstacle courses. We will call CaliVenture again for our next party.

Instead they sent us Marcella who was our angel! She spent 5-10 minutes giving us a beginner tutorial and helped my daughter get off the wall skating on her own. We had so much fun and I loved getting to see my daughter try something new. The facilities and rentals at SD Ice Arena are decent. There weren't many fresh beginners. It was fun to sit on the benches and watch the more experienced skaters when we finished.
