Held my son's birthday party here. I would ay this place is perfect for ages 7-11 year old boys ( but also 30-40 year old Dads XD ) who have a lot of energy to burn and want to do something different than the trampoline parks. Their birthday packages are reasonably priced ( slightly more $$ than a trampoline park) but you get a dedicated host, pizza and drinks and you can bring your own cake. We got the package with tokens so the kiddos could play arcade games as well. It was a BIG hit.

    Concessions: candy and nachos.

I would've loved to rate this place higher when what I did, but there's more cons over pros. Honorable mention: it is one of the only primary laser tag spots in the San Diego/North County area. The location: this place was not hard to find, AT ALL. It was very easy to find and designated spots was a plus for me. The food: there nachos and candy, which chips and cheese isn't much and the candy selection was mediocre. The ambiance: this place reminds me of an old retro arcade which was cool. BUT.. -the bathrooms were not that clean and the two male stalls were out of toilet paper the majority of the time we were there, luckily I didn't have to do that business. -the older white lady was the nicest one of the staff members(the rest were either rude or unwelcoming) -the floors were dirty as if hadn't been swept, mopped, or vacuumed. -the arcade was pretty pricey.

The birthday kid gets his pick at the claw machine!

Ask the Community - Invasion Laser Tag

Are we allowed to bring in outside food ? since the menu only has nachos and pretzels ..

Outside food is not allowed in the lobby. Food is only allowed if you book a party package.

Is there anything for younger siblings to do?

There is a small arcade in the lobby.

Do you think I can reserve for this saturday, the 26th?

You should call to make a reservation. 760-571-9191

    Is this only for children?

No, our recommended ages are 8 and up with parents playing with their kids a lot of the time. Friday and Saturday nights bring out the older crowds as well.

He had visited the…read morelocation with his summer camp and was so excited to return and celebrate with his friends. The booking experience started off strong--Leland, the party coordinator, was extremely helpful, patient, and detailed in explaining everything over the phone. Though paying in advance over the phone felt a little odd, we agreed and moved forward confidently. The venue is inside the Westminster Mall, in what used to be a vacant storefront. The party space was basic but appreciated: a couple of tables for food and gifts, a few more for guest seating, coolers for drinks, and basic party supplies like reusable balloons, paper plates, napkins, and disposable utensils. We had 12 kids participating in the activities and around 25 total guests. While the kids were excited, the experience started to fall apart after check-in. Jeff, the owner, greeted us but quickly became overwhelmed and impatient--particularly with the high energy of a group of boys aged 8 to 11. We were upfront about the group size when booking, so his attitude felt unnecessarily short. The VR escape room, which is located several storefronts away from the main party area, was not very accessible--especially considering the bathroom was there, and guests had to make the walk through the mall to access it. We had paid for a banquet room, but never got the chance to use it. Kids had to be run down to the restroom by adults due to the distance, which wasn't ideal. The escape room itself seemed underwhelming. It looked like an empty room with tape on the walls to designate areas. I'm not sure if the setup had more to offer visually once the VR started, but from a parent's perspective, it felt underdeveloped. After 30 minutes, the kids were led back to the laser tag area, which they were excited about--but even that had issues. I had paid for 12 players (which I wanted and was told could be interchangeable in the groups so my two older sons and brother-in-law could join in) but only one of them got a chance to play. There was no communication or adjustment made for this. The owner eventually disappeared and staff was minimal--just one woman who clearly didn't want to be there. She spent more time on her phone and drinking Starbucks than engaging with the kids. To top it off, the VR equipment stopped working during the party, and no one stepped in to fix it or communicate with us. A particularly upsetting moment was when my elderly aunt, recovering from surgery, was denied use of the bathroom and was yelled at. Mind you we paid for the "banquet room" where the bathroom was located. My son also told me that Jeff raised his voice at him about bathroom use. That behavior is absolutely unacceptable, especially toward children and elderly guests. Despite all of this, my son had a great time with his friends--and in the end, that's what matters most. His words were that he had "the best time ever," and for that, I'm grateful. But as a parent and paying customer, I felt let down by the lack of organization, professionalism, and empathy from the staff--especially given the price tag of over $500. If Arenaverse can improve their customer service, clarify the structure of their activities, and better train their staff to handle parties, they could offer a much better experience. As it stands, I would not recommend it for future parties.

We cut the times by about 15 minutes so we could take advantage of all the games. It's always clean, there are many decent fast meal options, and it feels relaxing under the palm trees on springy days. Inside, you have so many options to game--from Mario Brothers to Space Invaders. You can fall down a video game rabbit hole here. Also, the bumper cars are lit up and Lazer Tag is calling all players. There's a cafeteria-style "common hall" serving up pizza, nachos, hot dogs, fries, and bevvies. Outside, the bumper boats are a refreshing way to cool down. You can see that the staff works hard at maintaining the grounds. There's always someone working on the many pools and water features when I go. Overall, the greens are in good shape. Sure, a ball may stick, but it's a game. Mulligans and astro turf hiccups are par for this course. Want to practice random kindness? If you see a bottle on the ground, feel free to recycle in the receptacle placed by the tee box. It's nice that they thought to have as many receptacles as they did. It really helps keep the place tidy. The staff is young & laid back yet attentive. One clean sweep across all 4 courses at the opening of each AM shift, however, could help keep it 100% litter-free. See, I warned you--I had nothing but good things to say about Camelot Golfland. Will be back! Once I get the go again from my Sir Lancelot to brave the journey to Anaheim, we'll return for a 6-minute tournament to ride the Go Carts like chariots.

He shouted out the total for two wristbands and I let him know there was a different price online. He shouted out to purchase the wristbands online for that price. I walked away purchased the wristbands went back to pick up the physical wristbands. He scanned the barcode and put the wristbands on our wrist. And then with a smile said the list of rides that were closed. And then said " we are short staffed and due to that we do not have employees at the rides once they get here at 12:30 then you'll be able to get on the rides" I looked at my 10-year-old and said OK we'll go walk the beach and get a bite to eat until they open up. Guess what the staff never got there! Honestly, he thought it was funny when he told me that we weren't going to be able to get on rides until the other staff got there. There were a few rides like the mini dipper and the carousel. But who buys wristbands to get on a couple rides and then get on the bumper cart. If that's the case then I would've just bought individual tickets. LET YOUR GUEST KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THE PARK WILL NOT BE RUNNING AS USUAL!! I had to keep looking for staff to let us on rides and then even then I wasn't able to get on every ride. I paid for a wrist band for myself and my daughter thinking that we were going to be able to enjoy the day but we were not. I do want to point out that I'm a single mom and low income and this was supposed to be something amazing for us. $100 to Belmont Park is absolutely nothing but for me it is. And just FYI, I a lot of people kept leaving the park upset. But for them, they didn't purchase wristbands. We waited till after 5 PM hoping that as the shift changed employees would come and open up all of the rides, but that never happened. I was hoping to get my money back for the wristband, but because the employee at the counter was so aggressive I was honestly afraid to go up and ask for a refund. I'm hoping Belmont Park will make this right and provide my daughter and I with an opportunity to return to Belmont Park at no charge to us and be able to get on the rides.
