They have it. The world's greatest game.

Prepare yourself, Yelpers. This is a small arcade. Any review should absolutely keep that in mind. Good mix of arcade standards, boardwalk games, and millennial enlarged mobile phone nonsense. All the machines are in pristine condition, which I have to admit is a little surprising considering the location. Everything is done through a prepaid PowerCard that tracks both your dollar and ticket balance. You can save the card across multiple visits if that's your bag, and refilling it is a snap at multiple self-serve kiosks that take cash, card, and bitcoin. Actually, I lied about the bitcoin, but wouldn't that be something? Prizes are your usual carnival garbage, but at least the ticket cost is fair for what you get. I'm ashamed to admit I opted for a fidget spinner with my 1000 tickets; it was either that or a dart gun to mess around with my cat, and I felt like I wanted to sleep easy at night. Some may have a bit of an issue with the price, as almost every game is $1 per play with a few minor games at 50 cents per -- but what can you expect from an arcade connected to a beachfront amusement park with a wooden roller coaster. You're not just paying for the game; you're paying for the experience too. All in all, Lazerblast is a small arcade that really packs a punch. Good for kids and adults. Don't hesitate to give it at least an honest look.

Really fun place. Had hesitations, but went for my brother's birthday. 3 levels. Cheap, and you can go for as many rounds as you'd like.

Like uh hell yes! Not to mention delicious food and ice cream and snacks everywhere. Prices are great for a pier, honestly. Most games in the arcade were a dollar to 2 dollars at most, which is low compared to, let's say, Dave & Buster's. Rides were decently priced, but they have all-day passes and even some sunrise deals where you can ride all rides for 40 bucks or so. Parking here does suck; on my last visit, I saw two people almost beat each other up for a parking spot. But other than that, this place is a fun, vibey spot. It's a great hangout spot with your kids, friends or even for date nights. We spent 6 hours here on our last trip, so it was worth it, and we had a blast. Will go again on our next San Diego trip for sure.

They do run specials often, so if you think you'll be coming a few times, I'd make sure to check them out ahead of time. Tried their monster waffle cone and they aren't kidding. It's "2" scoops of two flavors, but really felt like 6-8 scoops. I can't imagine how a group smaller than 4-5 would be able to finish it. For $8.50, it's not a bad deal, but it is VERY sweet. Free parking is a huge plus. Overall, a good place to stay for a couple of hours or for a full day.

He knows how to keep this really fun for kids and really safe and really upbeat. This is the second time that my grandson has elected to have his birthday party here and it was just as fun as ever the second time. I like this location better than the last one because it's much shadier and the terrain isn't as flat so it's actually more fun to play the game behind the barricades. It's near Flinn Springs on Olde Hwy 80. We always bring our own pizza and cake and they provide the same and tables and bleacher seating and portable potty as well as the guns with gel ball ammunition and the headgear and Brandon referees the entire game and helps the kids with strategy and he encourages everybody. The birthday boy gets a special birthday song and a certificate and his own T-shirt at the end of the day. I enjoy the simplicity of this because it's just pure fun and innocence. My granddaughters even enjoyed it this time and of course, Kamikaze grandma (me) always enjoys it more than anybody. So young and old anyone can play and anyone can have a blast. So if you're turning 80 this year, I would suggest that you have your birthday party at gel tag. Suitable for bridal and bachelor parties and family reunions. Try it if you want to have a blast !

If you've ever tried to keep a group of 10-year-old boys entertained, you know that's no small feat! Brandon was patient, encouraging, and had such a great way with the kids. He made sure everyone understood the rules, kept things moving, and made every child feel included. It was truly one of the easiest birthday parties we've ever hosted because he handled everything so seamlessly. If you're considering Gel Tag San Diego for a birthday party or event, book them. It was worth every penny!

PIRATES AND DINOSAURS MINI-GOLF We paid for the two 9-hole courses (pirates and dinosaurs themes). You simply retrieve another ball at the counter between plays as you lose your ball down the last hole. We thought the pirate course was the better of the two, having some animated screens and was also less busy the day we went. Both courses are indoor and glow-in-the-dark. VISUALLY STUNNING, SLIGHTLY UNINTERESTING HOLES Visually, this is one of the better mini-golf courses we've done, especially because it's neon glow-in-the-dark, although the actual holes were slightly straightforward. Many of them just had concrete obstacles in the way in different formations. Still worth doing though, especially if you're mini-golf fans like us. NOT JUST MINI-GOLF The restrooms were in the back. The course itself was clean and interesting; however, the courses were very easy and not very challenging. As a result of the easy courses, my husband and I got through them really fast. I was a bit annoyed because there was another group playing, and they were running all over the place. They were stepping on the props and going out of order. The parents weren't paying attention, and I just wish there had been some intervention from staff, unless they don't have cameras in the room to see this type of behavior going on. I think the mini golf is more for little kids. I've been to other mini golf locations, and have always found them to be fun and challenging. I just feel like I didn't get my money's worth. I think the price should be lower than what it is. Overall, the place was clean, restrooms clean, and the staff were nice and helpful.

When we arrived, there was no line at all. Security was really nice, and we got in easily. There weren't many people inside around 10 PM, and I definitely feel like this bar is more of a "grab a drink, sit with your friends, and chat" type of spot. It's not a club or a dancing bar. We ordered a round of shots and a mixed tequila drink. It wasn't strong at all, but it was really delicious, and I genuinely enjoyed it. The server was also super nice, especially since our friend's mom kept ordering drinks and shots. He brought everything out quickly and with great service. I really loved the architecture and ambiance. It had a darker, cozy vibe, very much a small, deep-bar aesthetic. They also had some really cool paintings, and if you were wearing white or yellow, your clothes would glow in the dark, which was a fun touch. It wasn't super busy, and I appreciated how easy it was to find seating and just relax. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest, but it was still manageable.
