Amazing business, great service, we had a football team end of year party, SoCal Gamez came out with Photo Booth, laser tag and gaming truck. The boys had non-stop entertainment, would do it again. The team had a great time. They were professional, courteous, and very entertaining. I highly recommend using them, worth every penny!! read more

Recently had an event (football end of season banquet and championship party) and had SoCal Gamez bring a trailer and laser tag for the guys. The team had a great time and I even played laser tag with them. Super fun and really cool that they have so many options on/in the game truck. Boys were playing online and console games, the rock band was cool on the "patio" at the back of the trailer. Laser tag was super fun and they had a bunch of barriers, tents, etc up to make it exciting and active. Worth every penny since it kept the guys active and engaged instead of just sitting around waiting for dinner. Well done SoCal Gamez! read more

By far the best birthday party I've ever hosted (and I'm 9 in the game!) I have done my research prior to the party, and this is the truck with the fairest price and the highest review (it was a no brainer which one to choose after I researched game trucks for San Diego!) and after hosting the party I see why it's deserving!! Easy, and engaging. Gamez on Wheelz pulled up to the park, set up and helped kids and adults run their games smoothly. You will need three parallel spaces to set up in. Perfect for anywhere, although the park was extra swag. There are different options to choose from, depending on the party size. My party turned out to be bigger than expected, but it worked out thanks to our guy! All games are social, and meant to be played with others. There are so many games to choose from, truly a game for everyone!! I only wish there was an option for maybe 1.5 hours instead of the full 2. Definitely still five stars, over and over again. THANK YOU GAMEZ ON WHEELZ! I'll be recommending you to the world!! read more

Extremely rude response from the owner David when asked for any discounts since we only had 6 kids as it's still covid. He said : "go ahead and call other laser tags companies there are plenty in San Diego ". That's what I did. read more

5 stars! We had them out on NYE to entertain the kids while the adults socialized. Very professional, on time and patient with kids asking 100 different things at the same time. Rock band on the back of the trailer was great for little and big kids alike. I was very impressed with them and very grateful they were available! read more

Everything went as planned. Showed up early to setup so the set up didn't run into playing time. Justin was great. Helping all the kids make sure their gaming experience went smoothly. All consoles were working, controllers charged and the garage band set up was epic. Thank you for a great night. read more

These guys were TOP NOTCH! Our two hosts were very polite and great with the high school kids. Our driveway was a nightmare to get into but they handled the problem like it wasn't one. They even adjusted our time when it took them a while to get the truck set up (due to the driveway problem). I would HIGHLY recommend this company for any party or get together and look forward to using them again! Thank you! read more

We recently hired SoCal Gamez for our son's 8th birthday party. Wally arrived early, figured out La Jolla parking during a parade, and set up a laser tag field for a large group of kids. He kept them all thoroughly entertained for two hours. The service was excellent and we would certainly hire them again. read more

Best birthday party ever! We rented the game truck and laser tag and our guests LOVED both, especially all of the games the laser tag game leader played with them. Even the adults got in on the fun. I went with the Combo Party (Laser tag and Game truck) for my Grandsons 12th Birthday! The kids had an amazing time but so did the adults! I enjoyed watching my Brother-in-law and the other parents playing Rock Band it was so much fun. This was the first Party I actually sat down and enjoyed. I am usually checking on guests and hosting but entertainment was totally handled. From the start to the end this was an awesome company to do business with. They informed me of everything and they really kept the kids going. I would highly recommend them and would use them again. Tip: The Combo Party (Laser tag & Game truck) each one is a total of 2 hours so I ran one hour of both consecutively to make it a total of three hours. read more

Awesome Company! They are very professional and made the party so easy to plan and host the kids all loved it!

Okay so I have to confess that I am just a tad obsessive... And that combined with the fact that I thrive on creativity has resulted in me developing a stellar reputation of throwing some truly awesome little kid parties wherein my attention to detail is borderline OCPD... So in other words I'm pretty hard to satisfy (much less impress) when it comes to the standards my kiddie parties much achieve. This year unceasing time constraints led me to outsource my daughter's 11 year old birthday party. I was interested in the gaming interior, the side TVs (for the dads and stand up Wii type games), the Rockband stage, as well as the Laser Tag option. I called and got a good vibe from David (the owner) and ended up contracting Gamez on Wheelz to handle the bulk of my entertainment. And I was not only satisfied but extremely impressed with the results. The party was a BIG HIT. The equipment looked brand new and flashy and impressive, the game-masters were very professional but great with the kids too, and everything went smooth sailing. My home does not really lend itself to this environment as we live on a busy street and have minimal open grass areas. Therefore I had decided to hold my party at a park. I literally did not have to do one single thing with the truck (or the laser tag crew) other than tell them where to park (set up). And to my surprise, even though it was a Sunday evening at some remote location, David the owner stopped by to make sure everything was going smoothly and to help ensure all areas of the truck were thoroughly being enjoyed. I have done parties at the ice rink and venues like that and I rarely get a manager checking in much less the owner and most certainly was not expecting this kind of consideration at an obscure location. I also ended up placing an order for 6 dozen Gamez on Wheelz cupcakes. Had you unwittingly been walking by, you would have thought my guests were relapsing sugar addicts... They could not stop eating the cupcakes and even though I had ordered more than 20 extra, I started to worry we would run out before all the guests had gotten even one! This is a cool party and I really cannot imagine any group of children left wanting. Definitely an "add to my contacts list" vendor for future parties and when solicited for great party ideas... read more

I just had a wonderful experience with Gamez on Wheelz this past weekend for my sons birthday party. It was so simple, and alleviated a lot of the tedious little things that can end up being a lot of stress that goes into planning every little thing in your son/daughter's birthday parties. The game truck showed up 10 minutes before, and was all set up & ready to go by the arranged scheduled time...very prompt, so I was impressed! The way that Carlos interacted with the kids was awesome; he was patient, and very knowledgeable on all the operating systems, and games as well. The kids all enjoyed themselves so much! I would definitely recommend them, as it's worth every penny! Everything ran smoothly & professionally! read more

I want to thank David and Eric for an Amazing Time this evening. My sons and their friends had a blast and our guest were in awwwwww. I look forward to doing business with you guys again in the future. You rock and your the best. I wish you and Eric nothing but SUCCESS!!!! read more

We had hired Gamez on Wheelz for my son's 6th birthday party this weekend. The setup was awesome and it was fun for all the kids and even the dads. We had over 35 kids and the truck could hold 28 so we had them broken out into groups of 20. I actually commend the guy who was running the truck to manage 20 kids at one time and thought they did a great job. I would hire them again and even thinking about hiring them for my teenager birthday too. Highly recommended!!!!!! read more

HIT OF THE PARTY! We reserved Gamez on Wheels with David for my sons 8th birthday party this past weekend. All the kids had a blast but I think the adults had more fun. Such a great family and friend entertainment. They offered so many games, inside and out of the truck. They provided shade and seating outside too. They where on time, polite and good with the kids. I couldn't ask for anything more then that. If my son asked for it again for his future birthdays I would definitely get it again. read more

I am so honored to recommend Gamez on Wheelz in San Diego. We are so lucky to have David Dunn in our community. He brings excellent customer service and integrity. He knows the importance of a child's birthday- he is a parent himself and it shows! Thank you David for ensuring the best parties for my kids and our friends. We have had the gaming truck to celebrate the end of school/start of summer party and also the laser tag in a canyon behind our home for a birthday party---it was a BLAST!!!! They come on time, they are professional, and they are THE BEST!!!! Hands down I recommend Gamez on Wheelz with David 200%. He is on BBB for a reason. The kids love this!!!!! The parents love the service and ease for a party. read more

The birthday boy just described Gamez on Wheelz as AWESOME! We used them this past weekend for my sons 11th birthday and it was a hit! When planning the party, I received a quick response from David, and he was extremely helpful and friendly during the whole process.Once the truck pulled up, we met our hosts Paul and Kevin. They were great with the kids!! Now for the star- the truck itself: AMAZING! This truck had the 4 TVs inside, which accommodated 16 kids. But they didn't stop there: there were two additional TVs outside where 4 more kids could play AND a stage at the back of the truck where 4 more kids could do rock band! There was rock band, minecraft, basketball, baseball, skylanders, all happening simultaneously. How cool is that? This was seriously the most fun and easiest party we have ever had! Would definitely use them again. Thank you Gamez on Wheelz! read more

Second time hosting a Game Truck Party...again it was a great experience!! I specifically threw my sons birthday party on a Sunday in order to get these guys...The game master came to the party 15 minutes early to set up...he was very friendly and very attentive to the children as far as changing games out for them. I definitely recommend booking these guys for your game truck needs. I know I for SURE will be using them again this year read more

This was the best game truck ever! It's newly refurbished, with all the updates. We used him for my sons very small bar mitzvah, and it was a hit! David was on time, dedicated, friendly and so professional with the kids. It was very clean, easy to socially distance, and no covid worries for us! It's a way to have a great an memorable event in thes crazy times. Also, it was pouring rain, and the truck is all weather. So the kids were still able to be outside, and spaced out. The kids loved the guitar hero band and karokee stage too! read more

I got Gamez on Wheelz as PG bachelor party for my brother. It was awesome! David was great to work with, and Paul was very patient and helpful. I was blown away with David's dedication to ensuring we had everything we needed to make it an awesome party. He went above and beyond to download and install any game that they didn't have. I was very impressed. The price was very reasonable and they were flexible with scheduling so that we were able to go a little later than we had planned. All my brother's friends were BLOWN AWAY with the look of the truck. It has a very limousine-like interior. Great for a party for adults. Couldn't have been more pleased. read more

The other 1 star reviews are totally right. Pay attention and avoid this company! We booked Gamez on Wheelz for a joint birthday party for two 10 year old boys at a house on a cul-de-sac. We coordinated with the owner, David, to find out how we should prepare given the location on a cul-de-sac. Based on that coordination, we blocked off an area with orange cones in front of the house as requested (which was eventually used successfully). When the driver (Paul) showed up in front of the house next to the marked off area, he got out of the truck and said he needed a car parked further down the cul-de-sac to be moved so the he could turn the rig around and approach from the other direction. The owner of that car was out running errands and said she would return before the end of the party in 2 hours. The driver said that this was unacceptable and he would have to leave to go to the next party. As parents of the birthday boys, we were confused and frustrated to hear the party might be cancelled as friends were arriving. We offered alternative solutions like blocking off other areas or even blocking off the entire cul-de-sac with the agreement of all homeowners while waiting for the owner of the problem car (who did arrive shortly thereafter). The driver insisted no other solutions were acceptable. The company owner could not be reached. We demanded a solution and the driver complained that he was being unfairly blamed for the situation and he was leaving. In response to a mother who he says used the term "dirtbag" he claimed that he was being assaulted. He then left the area by executing maneuvers he claimed incapable of doing, leaving crying kids behind. People stared in disbelief. Oddly enough, he returned 5 minutes later and parked in the originally marked off area. Somehow we managed to set aside the craziness and agreed to try to start over. The party went forward with everyone on pins and needles to keep from upsetting the driver. A couple of days after the party, I was able to reach the owner to complain about the ridiculous start to the evening. It would have been nice if he had reached out to me first, but I now know my expectations should have been much lower. He agreed that the driver should have been open to other solutions to start the party and admitted that he was unqualified and unauthorized to maneuver the rig in a cul-de-sac! He then went on a long winded explanation of how he used his professional investigative skills to get to the bottom of the situation, including voice recordings which he refused to share, and that we were really to blame for various reasons including verbal assault using the term "dirtbag." He refused any credits or concessions. However he did falsely claim that the driver had been tipped $50 cash and we could deal with the driver directly to try to get that back as a credit. Of course nobody had tipped him cash and I was able to verify with all adults present. But even if this were true, what business owner in his right mind refers you to deal directly with his subordinate to resolve a customer service issue? So here are some final conclusions of my own: 1. If parking is critical to rendering services, use drivers capable of parking your vehicles consistent with pre-planning requests to the customer. 2. When you run into challenges (i.e. parking), be open to possible solutions that allow your services to still be performed. 3. If you failed to follow the first 2 and then drive away from the kids birthday party in dramatic fashion, you have richly earned the name "dirtbag." 4. Don't claim to have been assaulted by the mother of a birthday boy who is half your size and called you "dirtbag" out of frustration for making her child cry. 5. When you do come to your senses and return (to park in the same area you refused to use initially, proving it was just fine to begin with), apologize profusely. 6. Don't refer to professional investigative skills unless you're very sure you have all of the facts completely correct. 7. If you have professional investigative skills, don't use them in an attempt to argue with your customers. 8. Don't allude to checking voice recordings of the event that were made without the consent of your customers. It makes them and other prospective customers wonder what else you might be recording at your events. 9. A business owner is never a helpless middle man stuck between his customer and his employee. 10. Pathetic! read more

Look elsewhere! I'd suggest anyone NOT rent from this company. We've used Game Truck Party and they were absolutely great. Gamez on Wheelz was a horrible experience at a recent b-day party. Customer service from the guy who was operating the truck was absolutely horrible! I'm not sure how they stay in business treating people like that. He would much rather argue than help the kids. Next time we're looking to rent a game truck for a party, Gamez on Wheelz will not be considered. After reading other reviews, I agree 100%. This guy loves to argue with people. There's a pretty good chance that he'll argue with you if you book them. So, If you want horrible customer service, Gamez on Wheelz is for you. read more

Outstanding! Doesn't get any better. Just had a great party with Gamez on Wheelz for my son. Great game selection and very cool. He and all of the kids were ecstatic the entire time. First, the truck is luxurious and first class. Amazing and huge -- even bigger and has even more options (outside gaming and back stage area) than the Game Truck party that my son attended before we found Gamez. The truck also has Direct TV with large screens -- a great addition. It was not just the truck though, Kevin and Rick that came out with the truck and hosted helped and engaged all of the kids to make sure that they all had a great time. We did not have to do anything. We will do this again without a doubt! read more
