I don't need anyone hating on the fact that I love Wienerschnitzel lol. I am a woman of class BUT…read moresometimes you just need a drive thru chili dog. I shouldn't need to explain myself lol. But all jokes aside I wanted to shoutout this location because the gals that work the drive thru here are super nice, my order is always correct and honestly there really is never a line at this location, at least not when I come. It's a little hidden nearby the base and I've found it to be an easy in and out drive thru location. Again, the gals that seem to always be working the drive thru during the daytime are elite. Always so nice and friendly. They take my order without confusion or repeats and the order is always correct. My standard order will always be their chili cheese dog with easy chili (makes it less messy) and then usually whatever special flavored lemonades they have for the season. You can't go wrong. I only leave fast food reviews here and there but when a place has nice staff and consistency worth giving them a nice little shoutout. Glad we have this spot in the 805 for when I just want a throwback easy bite.

My daughter's love this place. The workers are so kind and respectful and the food is really good…read more Always consistent. My reason for writing this review is safety. Within the past month me and my 2 daughters went to buddy's to pick up a quick order about 3 times. And EVERY single time we felt unsafe. The homeless around the area is ridiculous. They linger around the whole building and even hang out in the back where the tables are where ur suppose to enjoy ur meal you just got from this establishment. And ur not allowed to do so because of it. One homeless man I gave $5 because I felt bad for him and I do have a heart. He responded with that's all? He wanted more. The intitlement was ridiculous. The next time we went there we were trying to avoid a homeless man walking around the building, he kept following us and asked for change. So I had a dollar so gave it to him and again he has the audacity to ask for more. This establishment needs to be more aware. And not allow the homeless to harass their customers. It's sad to say but this reason may be the reason we will not be going back. They see the homeless asking their customers at the window but don't do nothing about it. Don't make sense. Please help ur customer's feel safe.

Very average BBQ…read more.. I'm a self-admitted BBQ purist, impartial to NC BBQ, but have also had some of the best BBQ in TX (Terry Blacks, Goldees, and Franklin), and this is simply not TX BBQ. The restaurant is situated off the beaten path in the business district, but it's impossible to miss with the huge smoker sitting out front. It's a small restaurant with just a few tables and the ordering situation is a bit wonky (just one small window to order and pickup from). The staff was ultra-friendly and the food came out quick. As for the food, it was just okay... The BBQ itself wasn't bad, but it was definitely precut and kept in warmers (this would give a pit master down in TX a myocardial infarction as this is a huge "no no"); the sides were actually really good though. The total was about $30 for lunch, which to me was a bit high based on the quality of the BBQ. Overall... Not bad, not great, but not certainly TX BBQ.

I ordered a large fry and a Diet Coke. The Diet Coke was out so I opted for water. The water was ice cold and came from the soda dispenser. Hubby and I shared the large fries. There was so many fries that we took some home. 1 order and we had leftovers! The next morning, Hubby cooked them with a bit of bacon grease and we ate them as a breakfast side. So clever!
