Second review for Coco... Visited last night now that they are "OPEN LATE"! After vowing to never return, I walked in at 8:15 pm only to wait for 10 minutes while the staff was helping themselves to the popcorn machine by the pedicure station (weird). Finally when they realized myself and another patron had arrived they sauntered over. 20 min wait for manicure (there was not one manicure table being used). What's the point of "OPEN LATE" if there is no one to preform service? Less on novelty and more on service might help. NEVER AGAIN. For the second time!!!!! read more

I've never been here before but someone gave me a gift certificate for a mani/pedi so I decided to check it out. When I first walked in I noticed how nice everything was. When I sat down for my pedicure the woman instantly told me I should get a Spa pedicure even after I told her three times I did not want one. (They were $68 and up). She rushed through my pedicure without saying a word and gave me the quickest leg massage. Then my manicure was terrible. It took her 10 min, I timed it, and two of My nails were all bumpy. The only good part wS the massage at the the end. I'll stick with banana nails in norwalk where they give you free coffee and pedicures take 45 min :) read more

Ridiculous wait. Weekends expect at least 30 minutes waiting. Went in and decided I should just make an appointment for a hour later but when I came back I didn't get my appointment and was told to wait 20 minutes. What's the point of making an appointment. Front desk girl didn't even apologize, just walked away and avoided any eye contact. I walked out because it's not worth it. You pay a few extra dollars for a manicure compared to other places around town and you don't get anything special. It's close to my house, that's the only reason I tried going. read more

Great Experience!! Everything was perfect and awesome. My UV gel was perfect and I owe it all to June. Be sure to ask for her when you check out this nail salon. She is amazing. I have been going to Coco Nails for a while and their service has gone down hill. Pedicure chairs are old and uncomfortable now, like all of the padding has gone out. I waited for over half an hour for the pedicurist even with an appointment. Then, half way through they switch girls. read more

Of all the cheaper, walk-in places around Greenwich, I do appreciate Coco Nail's cleanliness and basic friendliness. But the actual services are 'no-frills.' The technicians do not (or perhaps cannot) speak to you. They work awfully fast. I agree, the leg massage with a basic pedi is just getting lotion rubbed in. It is hit-or-miss if you get a little neck massage while sitting at the drying table. But for a basic, quick, walk-in, no frills, clean mani-pedi, it's a good choice. read more

Absolutely terrible. After a long, very stressful and emotionally draining week, me and my friend came in to get massages. Not only were we told to wait, for we made an appointment for private room deep tissue massages, we were then told we could not go to the private room because someone was in there still and would be for a while. We were then told we could get them but as chair massages. The massage therapist did not use any lotion and we had to keep our clothes on which really irritated our skin because he was pressing the fabric into our skin for the whole time. I wanted to tell him to stop because I was so uncomfortable and was not enjoying it but I felt bad and high maintenance. After the massage, my friend and I actually felt more tense and out of sorts then before the massage. We tried to explain our concerns to the manager in hopes of getting some compensation but she just argued with us and told us that's what we signed up for, which is not true I have gotten deep tissue massages before which were much more relaxing and pleasant than this one. Definitely will not be returning and if you are trying to de stress, unwind, and relax don't come here for a massage, you'll be disappointed and short $50. read more

So Decided to give this place a try again-limited choices in Greenwich and all... and again-walk in on this past Saturday at around 2-and they have about 10 customers when they have the capacity for 30-and there is a 10 to 15 to 20 minute wait quoted for every customer-some of whom walked out. How do you run a business like this? Why are they not staffed up on a Saturday? Why is the Owner ok with leaving money on the table and ticking off customers? To add insult to injury-I was refused my request for a woman to do a chair massage while my nails dried. This is basic at every other nail salon on greenwich and manhattan-and the person at the desk was unapologetic-offered no compensation, and was haughty and more interested in her phone than what I thought. Her attitude is so much about her own importance and so little focus on customer satisfaction I cannot believe the owners entrust her to manage. Too bad-such a nice facility and they could be doing so much more business if they managed their services a little better and had a little more focus on having a consistent range of services. I don't know how staying open later is going to help them when they still insist on making the customer feel they are not important!! read more

Arrived early on a Saturday morning and was greeted at the door. The woman was pleasant enough but not warm. I asked for a manicure and pedicure. When the woman realized I didn't want to upgrade my pedicure that's when everything changed. She sped through my pedicure and it was the WORST she barely cut my cuticles and when I went home I actually had to clean them up myself. Then the manicure was the same. When she saw that I gave her a decent tip that's when her whole attitude and body language changed. She started striking up conversation and she even went back to fix my manicure more. She got lucky because I ALWAYS tip people in the service industry well but she most certainly did not deserve it. Much like the other reviews stated these people judge you upon entry and if you aren't a "regular" the definitely make you feel unwelcome. I typically go to a place in Stamford but they are very popular so I wanted a backup salon... this will absolutely not be it. read more

I love Coco. I have been coming here for three years and I love the atmosphere and the technicians. My last manicure lasted longer than a week! I also get reflexology, massages and eyelash treatments...they are professional and the technicians are experts in their areas. I highly recommend this spa! read more

The worst. They rush you from the minute you walk in the door (pick a color! Even if the place us dead empty!). They attempt to upsell for everything, and what they provide for basic service is not reasonably priced - in fact it's ridiculous. After beating them back on the rush, the upsell, and all else, I came away with a crappy mani/ pedi that had mostly chipped off in a couple of days. Just returned from my first visit. I recently moved here from LA and wasn't sure where to go for nails and waxing. I popped in here and couldn't have been happier. They took me right away for waxing with June, who did my lip and eyebrows and they look great. I then asked about massage and they immediately found an available therapist and whisked me away into a massage room and I had an AMAZING 45 minute massage with Danny. Amazing - ask for Danny - you will not be disappointed! It was $70 for 45 minutes. I then had a pedicure ($25) which was lovely. The place is beautiful and the people all very nice. Only complaint was I am used to getting my mani and pedi done at the same time to save time and they couldn't do that so I didn't have time for a mani. Highly recommend this place. read more

I moved to the area about 2 years ago and was happy to know a nail salon was so close to my home. Very happy with Coco. I get regular manicures and pedicures and I am a weekly customer. The massages are great too! Cleanliness is very important to me, so I feel comfortable knowing that it is clean. I like the environment and all the technicians are very good, especially Anna!! I was pretty excited when i find out that coco spa has extended hours till 10pm from the mail. I had high expectations about coco spa because alot of People were saying that coco is the luxurious spa in Greenwich. However when i went tonight for pedicure after work, my expectation drop to the ground. First of all, the tech who was doing my pedicure, she first offer me the expansive pedicure even though i ask for regular pedi. She literally pushing to get the spa pedi. I think everything went wrong from there. While she file my toenails, it was very rough, very unprofessional service. They were talking in their own language while taking customer, which i felt like they're talking about me. Overall it was my worst experience ever consider that this was my first visit to coco spa. I don't know how the day time service is different from night time though. But one thing for sure, i won't go back during there night time. I just wasted my time, money. read more

The spa is BEAUTIFUL. It is clean and decorated in a sophisticated and elegant fashion. The tools are all first class, and the spa chairs, furniture, and polishes are all new. I am immediately calm as I enter this spa. The service is good-to-average, since the staff tend to be so busy and seem to be rushed. They usually try to get you in-and-out. However, they are highly skilled so the manicures and pedicures they give are usually very good. The women who give the massages are FABULOUS. They are very friendly and give wonderful back rubs that don't just last a minute. They make your massage worth it and will spend 5-7 minutes with each person. It's very appreciated! I would recommend this spa to anyone since I almost always have a very positive experience here. read more
