First of all, the address listed on Yelp is not necessarily where they will be popping up. Good…read morething I texted them first. Happily, someone immediately responded and gave me that night's location, Evan's Brewery in Corona. My drive to the Eastvale address would have been in vain. It's a rented commercial kitchen, not a store front or residence. They do not sell here. I am always on the hunt for a really good smoked brisket. Albert's smoked meats are beyond reproach. He is gifted, providing a product that is moist and delicious. The wood he uses for smoking is one I could never get tired of. I ordered brisket meat only, hoping for a few slices, forgoing the bread and sides in an effort to avoid all the carbs. So what I ended up with was only a small tinfoil packet of meat, well chopped. The Hubs ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw and baked beans. It came with a small container of their bbq sauce, a very sweet version, on the side. Due to rain, Evans Brewery had graciously opened up their lobby to the Ochoas for setting up their operation. We had expected to bring our food straight home regardless, but there did happen to be a few places we could have plopped ourselves down and ate inside. Once home, we took a good look at what we had spent $42 for. These portions were certainly not intended for anyone who sports a large appetite. Fairly recent pictures of their menu indicated I would be purchasing a half pound of brisket. It was not, more likely around 5 oz. Mr. B's cole slaw and baked beans sides were unremarkable, and sadly, the bbq sauce was overly sweet. This left us with very mixed feelings. While I really loved my brisket meat, and Hubs also said he liked his pulled pork, the smaller servings stunned us, and the sides were unimpressive and meaningless in the scope of things. I figured we were paying close to $60/lb for our meat. I admire the energy and passion they have put into their business. But as nice and friendly as they were, the great tasting meats were not enough to draw us in, and the fact that they are relatively expensive for an informal, seating-less pop-up, left us feeling torn. Just my opinion, but would we patronize them again? Probably not.

His pulled pork sandwiches are a smoky symphony of tender, slow-cooked pork piled high and crowned with just the right amount of tangy barbecue sauce. But it doesn't stop there--if you're craving the king of Texas BBQ, look no further than his chopped brisket sandwiches, where every bite bursts with bold, beefy goodness, smoked to perfection. For those wanting a next-level experience, dive into the loaded mac and cheese bowls--creamy, cheesy bliss topped with juicy chunks of smoked meat that'll have you scraping the bottom for every last morsel. And then there are the smoked rib plates--ribs so succulent and packed with flavor that they'll have you debating if you've just discovered the true meaning of BBQ nirvana. But the best part? This isn't a one-man show. Albert's got his family by his side--his daughter SMO brings her own magic to the mix, and his wife, Heather, adds that personal touch that turns Ochoa's Smokehouse into more than just a BBQ spot--it's a family tradition served up in every bite. If you're looking for BBQ that goes beyond the usual and lands straight into unforgettable, Ochoa's Smokehouse is the place to be. Get ready to feast like never before! We felt welcomed and was dealt with promptly before I even had my first bite. This Smokehouse, this family is absolutely world class.

They exceeded all expectations! Man, the food was abundant and delicious!!!! The Quality of the meat was outstanding, even two days later the leftovers were still moist, and there was no fat in the pulled pork! The salads were fantastic, obviously homemade and I am very very picky about potato salad! It was delicious! As was the mac & cheese. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them!

From our very first interaction, Berkeley went above and beyond to earn our business and was a joy to work with throughout the process. He was enthusiastic about accommodating our theme and budget, created a menu to please all palates, and was very responsive to communication and requests including, timely submission of paperwork to the venue. On our big day, the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in what they were doing which made the experience even more special for us and our guests. Berkeley arrived early with a giant smoker in tow, and proceeded to prepare an amazing barbeque, served buffet style by his professional staff. At the end, Berkeley's team made sure everything was set out so we could continue to nibble throughout the day. The food was incredible!! On Berkeley's recommendation, our entrees included juicy lemon pepper chicken breast, sliced for ease of serving, thick pieces of high quality, smoked salmon, and the most flavorful rosemary tri-tip packed in a dry rub Berkeley credits to his father. Side dishes included, bow tie macaroni and cheese oozing with a cheese blend that complimented the entrees, brightly colored smoked vegetables, and "to die for" mashed potatoes. Salad, with Berkeley's special dressing, and fluffy rolls rounded out the menu. Every single dish was packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and made with top-tier ingredients. Portions were generous, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. Don't forget to bring some "to-go" containers because your guests will be excited to take some home with them. I researched several BBQ caterers, including popular chain stores. Although I could have found a less expensive option, I could not have found anything approaching the quality, quantity, and service of Berkeley's Backyard Barbeque. So, if you're looking for a caterer who delivers not just amazing food, but a great overall experience, I highly recommend Berkeley's Backyard Barbecue. They helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

We ordered the family set with shrimp, mussels, and crawfish. We also order one serving of rice to split between me and my bf. The total came out to around $80 with tip included, which felt pretty reasonable for the amount of seafood we got. Service was very attentive. They kept refilling our water, clearing our buckets, and checking in to make sure everything was good throughout the meal. We got the Cajun spice mild and the sauce was amazing, especially with the rice. It was very flavorful and comforting. The shrimp were definitely the highlight because they soak up the sauce really well. The mussels and crawfish were good, but the meat was a bit smaller and seemed like it might be frozen. If you are ordering, I would recommend going for the shrimp set because it pairs the best with the sauce. Overall a really enjoyable meal and a fun place for a casual date night.

I only asked for 2 different sauces, the OG and the ponzu, but I felt like it left the whole bowl feeling really thick and creamy plus a little overly salty whereas I prefer when the fish and toppings stand out instead.
