    Molcajete was fire
    Octabiano V.

The food was great. I had the molcajete hot... my wife had 7mares and my kids carne asada tacos. Everything was good the service was great. Liz our server was very attentive. The ambiance was chill great for family. The place was clean. We moved to Lake Elsinore 4 years ago and this was our first time. We are coming from LA county and this place made us feel like home. We almost didn't come due to the 3.3 stars but don't let that fool you the place is great. I will definitely come back. (I asked about the 3.3 star reviews they mention they were a few haters trying to bring them down)

    Outdoor patio

Mariscos Nayarit offers up excellent Mexican specialties in a friendly, and warm atmosphere. The fish tacos here are the best I have found anywhere and most everything on the menu has been delicious. The staff are welcoming and eager to make your visit an enjoyable one. Patrons can choose from two inside dining areas or the outdoor patio. This facility was previously a popular barbecue restaurant and Mariscos Nayarit takes advantage of the large rock smoker left over from that operation. Prices are very reasonable and the venue is kept clean and properly maintained.

    Mojarra

We never have any complaints when we come here. The ceviche is fresh and delicious no matter what day of the week it is. The mojarra was on point and so yummy. The service was great, as always. The restaurant is comfortable with good ac.

    Shrimp Empanada de Camaron

Came here for my husband to try seafood since he loves it but was a bit disappointed. Hubby got the shrimp empanadas that were dry inside and plain. Just shrimp in it and said it was ok but he wouldn't order again. Hubby ordered the molcajete and said it was again ok, but salty. I ordered the cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and again flavor was ok, expected more from this place because the chips and salsa were delicious so bit disappointed overall. Price was...not worth it for us and we won't be back. The waitress was very nice though. Oh and the place is very hot inside and if you sit by the window in the back booth, you will feel all the heat from outside. Horrible.

    Camarones Zarandeados
    Rafael M.

I love this place and the shrimp ceviche, fish tacos and the shrimp zarandeados is the best I ever ate. I recommend this spot. Service is always excellent and no complaints from me. The owner and the rest of the staff are great cooks. You should try this place out %. Great beers and the Micheladas are amazing too. Clean place to enjoy your time with your family or by your self after a hard day of work.

I came here with my family and we ordered the Beach Box, which comes with 12 fish tacos and fries…read more They also offer shrimp tacos with fries, and their Wednesday special was $28.99 (before tax). Another Wednesday deal is their OG fish tacos for $2.59 each, also before tax. We split the Beach Box, so each of us had about three tacos with fries. I do want to be honest though--I have celiac disease, which means I cannot have gluten. I haven't had gluten since I was diagnosed about a year ago, but this time I gave in. Seeing everyone else eating made it really hard to resist. I know it wasn't the best decision, but I ended up having some anyway. That said, if you're celiac like me, I wouldn't recommend this place. They do offer some options like mariscos, and you can replace flour tortillas with corn, but keep in mind there is always a chance of cross-contamination. It's definitely an "at your own risk" situation. I will say, when I came before and told them I have celiac disease while ordering their tacos, they did try to accommodate me as best as they could. It wasn't busy at the time, and they offered to clean the area and take extra precautions to avoid cross-contamination, which I found very thoughtful. But like I said, there's always a chance, so it's still at your own risk. As for the food itself, everything was very flavorful. The fish was crispy, well-seasoned, and tasted fresh. The fries were good, and the portions were solid. The salsa bar is self-serve and has bold, spicy flavors. If you like a lot of salsa with your tacos, you'll enjoy it. Customer service was great. We were greeted right away and given helpful recommendations. The restaurant is clean and has a nice vibe, with a really pretty mural inside. It does get busy, so expect a bit of a wait, but the food is worth it. They also have specials throughout the week, like potato tacos on Thursdays and Tijuana-style tacos on Tuesdays, which I've had before and really liked. Those are made with corn tortillas, but again, if you're celiac, just be mindful of cross-contamination. Overall, the food and experience were great. Just be cautious if you have dietary restrictions like I do.

I've been waiting for a place like this in Lake Elsinore…read more It's been way too long since we've had a thai food restaurant that served all the thai dishes you're used to and in the way that I'm used to. For the longest, there was only one thai restaurant. I enjoyed it, but they didn't serve pad woon sen and I didn't really enjoy their pad thai. Then, we had the one that opened up off Grand and Corydon- which I've still yet to try. This one, is closest to me and just covers all the bases. It's extremely well-priced. They have a full menu, I mean, nothing is missing. The service is great. The food is craveable - everything is well done. They share parking with the other stores in the plaza, so it's plentiful. There is a pretty good sized dining area, but I've never dined in - one of these days. I was lucky enough to meet the head chef, who is also the owner, on my last visit. Let's just say, I greatly appreciated her taking the time to come out and speak to me and educated me on some of my go-to dishes as well as how she walked me through how and where they source their ingredients. I gained more respect for this new establishment and it solidified this place as my fav thai spot in the area.

This Thai flavor leans toward Asian taste buds vs. an Americanized fusion…read more Spices will challenge your taste buds with mix of sauce/spices. It won't compare to original Thai food due to getting ingredients (better coconut juice) including import prices that makes it harder to replicate from the original country. Red curry was spiced correctly with mix of shredded bamboo, pieces of bell peppers, shallots, lime leaves with beef and includes side of rice. There's not much meat more veggies. It was on the watery side so lack coconut thickness flavor but still delicious. I order mild but it's spicy if not eating similar spice food. Haven't tried it yet, but if you like it more coconut side, mention it be cooked toward that thickness than a watery side. This is a lunch item with chicken at smaller size, so try it then since it comes with side salad and fried rice or steam rice. The portion is like small pho soup size bowl. Pork Namtok is thinly slice meat drench in a vinaigrette dressing over ice berg lettuce with shallots and crushed peanut. It was OK, a different type of salad. It could have used more salad. Portions are smaller than other nearby Thai restaurant but the Asian Thai spice flavor is better than the other. Mango in the sticky rice was wonderful. The mango was in season and sweet. Rice was sweet and soft. Coconut sauce wasn't as sweet I didn't taste much of it, most of flavor or sweetness came from the mango. Service is excellent. Friendly family owned restaurant with Grandma/Grandfather cooking in the back. It like a home cook meal, so worth a try. AC with fan so a great place to escape the heat while dining in the area. It's next door to slater brothers so eat before grocery shopping.

We ordered online for pick up, did some shopping across the parking lot while we waited. The food wasn't ready when we got there, but it was done and delivered to my husband in the span of time it took me to use the restroom. Service was friendly, the bag was tied up and we were told everything was in there. We didn't realize the guava pie we ordered wasn't included with our order, that was a deduction of a star as your restaurant was empty at lunch so I don't feel like this should have even been an issue. Then I deducted another star because I emailed customer service in regard to the issue and was never contacted back and we live 30 minutes away so I wouldn't drive back for $4. At least I know that I like the fish so I will be getting it at another closer location to us for our next visit.
