I reached out to various businesses, but Taco's Meza stood out right away... Tacos Meza was responsive with my inquiry and provided all details regarding their packages and booking process right away. Their timeliness and pricing were key factors in moving forward with catering for our event (along with the excellent Yelp reviews of course)... Their packages are straight forward and reasonable in price. We selected the three meat taco option (per person charge), which also included 20 quesadillas and agua fresca flavor of choice. The chicken (majority thought was the best), carne asada and carnitas were all delicious AND plentiful! Rice, beans and salsa were also included in our package. We had a huge leftover taco protein supply... So awesome. You can work with Daisy for other options as well... she was very professional, flexible and easygoing throughout the whole process... On the day of our event, two workers (Andrew and Armando) arrived timely and provided excellent customer service. They were polite and professional and very efficient with handling the orders. Everything in the contract was precise and executed perfectly. No hidden costs, no surprise fees, no dissatisfaction with the food, no personnel issues. All of that = No regret with our booking of Tacos Meza! We have for sure found our Taco Truck / catering of choice for future events. From there things took a dive. I scheduled an appointment via their website (as directed) which was confirmed via email. No one showed up for the zoom so I called the number jic something out of their control happened. One of the owners answered and said they never got the notification on their end and they were out of office so there was nothing they could do. She advised to message her and we could sent another meeting. I text and emailed. I didn't receive a response via text and got an email over a week later. During that same time, my husband text the same number and received a message instantly. He inquired about an order for a Friendsgiving and Christmas but they advised they were not going to be catering for Christmas. Understandable, so he just asked for a quote for our Friendsgiving. They said they would send the quote but it was never received even after another call which they claimed it would be sent. I've worked with multiple caterers and especially like to work with local family owned ones but this one is 10/10 DO NOT recommend. I'm thankful we were able to pivot to another lovely small business in San Bernardino and would not trust working with THIS business.
