They exceeded all expectations! Man, the food was abundant and delicious!!!! The Quality of the meat was outstanding, even two days later the leftovers were still moist, and there was no fat in the pulled pork! The salads were fantastic, obviously homemade and I am very very picky about potato salad! It was delicious! As was the mac & cheese. The price was very reasonable and I will definitely use them again. I highly recommend them!

From our very first interaction, Berkeley went above and beyond to earn our business and was a joy to work with throughout the process. He was enthusiastic about accommodating our theme and budget, created a menu to please all palates, and was very responsive to communication and requests including, timely submission of paperwork to the venue. On our big day, the staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in what they were doing which made the experience even more special for us and our guests. Berkeley arrived early with a giant smoker in tow, and proceeded to prepare an amazing barbeque, served buffet style by his professional staff. At the end, Berkeley's team made sure everything was set out so we could continue to nibble throughout the day. The food was incredible!! On Berkeley's recommendation, our entrees included juicy lemon pepper chicken breast, sliced for ease of serving, thick pieces of high quality, smoked salmon, and the most flavorful rosemary tri-tip packed in a dry rub Berkeley credits to his father. Side dishes included, bow tie macaroni and cheese oozing with a cheese blend that complimented the entrees, brightly colored smoked vegetables, and "to die for" mashed potatoes. Salad, with Berkeley's special dressing, and fluffy rolls rounded out the menu. Every single dish was packed with flavor, cooked to perfection, and made with top-tier ingredients. Portions were generous, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good everything was. Don't forget to bring some "to-go" containers because your guests will be excited to take some home with them. I researched several BBQ caterers, including popular chain stores. Although I could have found a less expensive option, I could not have found anything approaching the quality, quantity, and service of Berkeley's Backyard Barbeque. So, if you're looking for a caterer who delivers not just amazing food, but a great overall experience, I highly recommend Berkeley's Backyard Barbecue. They helped make our wedding day unforgettable.

I had zero hesitation in booking with them. As a matter of fact, I was so satisfied with their offerings that it didn't even dawn on me just how far away they were from our venue (El Monte). Finding out that they came to us allllll the way from Riverside is just a testament to their stellar customer service and willingness to bring us a great experience! And there should always be an option for mild not everyone likes medium or hot. I explained that this was an older crowd and they don't always do well with those, hot or medium. In your original quote of what was included in the menu it says 5 salsas, you need to update it and have an option for mild for those who can't tolerate the others. And a mild tomato sauce is not salsa. Again by the time you would have gotten there it would have been too late. Also I did not say you ran out of food, just the potato tacos, which shouldn't have happened. There were not 55 people who attended the party I explained that some came back for second helpings. And they did NOT serve past the two hour period. At 3:00 pm we made an announcement for last call on the food. If your workers told you that it is incorrect. They were packing up at 3:15, and I spoke to you on the phone shortly afterwards. As for the chips and salsa it was implied that they were included and not a separate charge, you need to clarify that on your quotes. I am giving constructive criticism whether you accept it or not is up to you! Have a great day.

I worked with them once a couple of months ago- they were hired by my client and I had never met them prior. They came in with a full staff of about 10 people for the wedding. They had an incredible set up that was efficient and beautiful. Katie, the lead lady in charge at that wedding, was highly professional and attentive, and worked extremely hard at the wedding. Because I was so impressed by them, I started referring them to all of my clients. I worked with them again last week, and once again, they blew me away. I had Katie again but with a different serving staff, but they were all just as amazing as the first experience. This wedding was anything but typical- the catering company was not even booked until a week prior. Yet they were able to get them fully booked quickly and took on every single challenge that arose through the night with zero complaints. One of the guests at that wedding is an owner of Michelin star restaurants, and he was raving about the food and how good it was- and I think that says something! And as a wedding coordinator, I feel like I can truly trust this company with my clients because they have proven to me twice now how amazing they are with their great service, presentation, attention to detail, and tasty food. Katie and her team genuinely go above and beyond and I would recommend them to anybody.
