Hello Erika, in response to your comments: you did offer to bring something over, but who wants a mild tomato sauce, that's not salsa. And there should always be an option for mild not everyone likes medium or hot. I explained that this was an older crowd and they don't always do well with those, hot or medium. In your original quote of what was included in the menu it says 5 salsas, you need to update it and have an option for mild for those who can't tolerate the others. And a mild tomato sauce is not salsa. Again by the time you would have gotten there it would have been too late. Also I did not say you ran out of food, just the potato tacos, which shouldn't have happened. There were not 55 people who attended the party I explained that some came back for second helpings. And they did NOT serve past the two hour period. At 3:00 pm we made an announcement for last call on the food. If your workers told you that it is incorrect. They were packing up at 3:15, and I spoke to you on the phone shortly afterwards. As for the chips and salsa it was implied that they were included and not a separate charge, you need to clarify that on your quotes. I am giving constructive criticism whether you accept it or not is up to you! Have a great day. read more

Erika and her team were absolutely phenomenal! From booking to the day of our event, everything was easy, professional and seamless. They arrived on time, were incredibly kind, and provided excellent customer service from start to finish. And the FOOD!! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and great quality. Our guests loved it, but the Queso Birria was definitely the crowd favorite! So good! Also, the Pineapple Agua Fresca was delicious! We loved the setup! It was super cute and added such a nice aesthetic to our event. You can tell Erika and her team take pride not only in their food, but in the entire experience they provide. Delicious food, beautiful presentation, great service, and wonderful people to work with. I will absolutely be a repeat customer and would recommend them without hesitation. 10/10! read more

I contacted a number of taco bar caterers for my wife's birthday party. Erika was by far the most responsive, answering every one of my questions and concerns within minutes! She immediately gave me the confidence I needed to hire the right team to serve my guests, and they didn't disappoint! Everything went perfect! Everyone was so happy with the service and the food and they were one of the lowest prices we were quoted! Thank you Erika and the wonderful young men who served our guests! read more

All right, real talk. Erika and her team were absolute professionals! She was prompt to respond. She was very clear about what she needed for me. She was on time. She communicated very effectively throughout the entire process. Not to mention the food was bomb! And at my event, I had a very tough crowd of some folks that KNOW good Mexican food, and they rocked it! I would absolutely hire Ambrosia's Taco Bar again and encourage you to give it a try! read more

I don't ever leave reviews, but I have to with this one. I was looking for a few months for a taco caterer. Looking at reviews and just had a hard time trying to find one. I've been too many parties where there was different vendors and none of them just had that spark in that plate where it was just like so amazing you had to go back for more. I found Ambrosio's taco bar and from the very beginning Erika was very professional! She was so kind and always quick to respond she was very patient with me and answered all my questions in details. I originally booked for 50 people, but as time went on more people started to RSVP and she bumped it up to 75 for me last minute and I just paid the difference day of It was just her and a gentleman with her and they were both on time. The set up was very nice! I told them what time I wanted them to start serving and they did just that everything was ready and on par. When I tell you, I had at least 20 of my guest talking about the taco bar and how delicious the food was. I couldn't believe how many people kept going back for more. ! I was too busy being the hostess of my own baby shower that I didn't get to eat right away, but I just kept hearing everyone talking and going back for more that I had to go and get myself a plate and I was amazed. They had EVERYTHING! Most the time people's rice is just not very good to me and the Spanish rice that they brought was absolutely delicious. They brought so many condiments with them. My husband and I chose the Horchata for the drink and it was so yummy. There actually wasn't much left by the end of the party and I was so shocked! I even saw a few of my guest, taking some business cards for keepsake for their future events ! Some of my guest even were so amazed by their food and just whole demeanor that they even went to the taco bar to personally leave tips. That's how you know they were THAT good! The weather was chilly so a lot of my guest started to leave and we didn't have enough people for a few of my baby shower games and the gentleman with there was so kind enough after I asked if he would mind filling in a seat for one of our games and he did just that. Everyone loved it.! couldn't believe how nice they were and willing to help. He even won the game and was so sweet he refused to accept the prize!! Lol!! so we gave it to the next person. I am 1000% going to be booking them for any future events that we have. To be completely honest, I have absolutely zero complaints about them. I woke up this morning with a few messages from some of my guest talking about how much fun they had at my baby shower and that they couldn't believe how amazing the tacos were and if they could get the information. The only thing I regret is not taking photos of the whole entire set up because I was just so busy. My mom even wanted to make sure that they ate some tacos for themselves because you have to remember. They weren't just here for the hours that we hired them for. They arrive hours prior to that as well to set up an ensure that everything as well put on a timely manner. Not a single one of our guest went hungry and they left us with food to go as well. That was left over. Along with some of the condiments. This was by far the best experience in having a taco bar for the first time my husband and I are very pleased!! Thank you to Erika and her team for making our day that much better!!!! read more

BEWARE BEFORE BOOKING! If I could give ZERO stars I would! The other reviews must be from friends because what is described is NOT what we received! We hired this unprofessional company 3 weeks in advance to cater my son's birthday this past weekend (1/25/25). Communication from Erica started out well, prompt and professional. However, the day of our event she sent out two younger guys, they arrived on time, set up and were prompt to serve at the time our contract said even 15 mins earlier (therefore they left 15 mins earlier than originally scheduled but still "served" for 2 hours) Now this is where things went downhill. 1. The Ambrosio's staff was eating the food we paid for, which wouldn't have been a problem however they ate BEFORE all of my guests were served and done eating. 2. They ate food from our other vendors without our consent or us offering. Now again I have no issues with offering it however the fact they took it upon themselves to do so was in my opinion very unprofessional 3. I saw multiple times they handled their phones then immediately touched food without changing out gloves. 4. At the end of the night when they provide to us what was left they gave us the rest of the tortillas that were left over which were expired. (01-08-25) so now I'm concerned if anything else was expired and hope no one gets sick please see the photo of the tortillas in pictures 5. The quesadillas were not made to order therefore the cheese was already hard by the time my guests received it 6. The price we paid for services ($850 not to mention the generous tip my husband gave not knowing all this happened) included chips and salsa and more than half my guests didn't get chips! Of course because of these concerns I reached out to Erica, and well I will allow the messages to speak to what kind of company you will have to deal with if you choose to go with them but I encourage you to find another company I would have paid another company more to have a better quality service. read more

Deliciousness! First let me start off by saying everything was delicious! The rice was perfect, the beans were amazing, and we went with the jamaica (hibiscus tea) which was so refreshing and don't even get me started on the meats. The meats were finger-licking good! The people were so nice and friendly and super polite. Oh my goodness my experience with them couldn't have been better. It was the perfect experience. Don't think twice, book them for your next party/gathering and you won't be disappointed. They're amazing. read more

I was looking for taco catering service for a birthday and sent out a bunch of messages and requests. Ambrosios Taco Bar person Erika was very responsive and easy to interact with. Thats the main reason I also decided to go with them. I ordered carnitas, chicken tacos and ceviche. The ceviche and chicken tacos were a huge hit among the quests. They also hooked us up with extra tray of carne asada and a bunch of condiments, utensils etc. I ordered food for 10-15 people and after 10 guests we still have a lot of leftovers. We had a great experience with Erika. It started with a clear and detailed quote via text. A larger party is more cost effective of course. There's a couple of extra options for additional charge. Once we booked, she was well organized and we kept in touch as the event got close to make sure everything was on track. The traditional setup looked great and everyone enjoyed their meal. We had a lot of people back out last minute so they packed us lots of leftovers. The carnitas were my favorite along with the agua de piña. The service was courteous and they even cleaned the floors before they left. Will definitely use again given the opportunity! read more

I had a caterer back out a week and a half before my wedding and was desperate to find a replacement. I wasn't having any luck with such short notice, but Erika absolutely saved my special day! All my guests were raving about how good the tacos were and most went back for seconds and thirds because they enjoyed it so much. Everything was DELICIOUS! I had recently moved to the IE and I'm very skeptical about using just anyone without any recommendations, I had a favorite taco man I used all the time for my parties when I lived in LA and he was not available the day I needed him.. however based on yelp and google reviews I decided to use Taquizas Ambrozios .. the gal was very friendly over the phone and she explained the entire process what they offered and their services. They arrived on time, they had a beautiful set up and the food OMG delicious everyone raved about the food.. I will definitely be using them again. The only mishap i came across is the taco man and assistant were not very talkative or engaged in conversation but other than that they still deserve a 5 star!!! read more

I was looking for a taco catering service for a Super Bowl party, sent out a request and Erika responded within minutes. She was quick to respond to all of my questions thereafter, as well. We ordered the carnitas, asada and chicken tacos, all of which were fantastic. It came with rice and beans, all of the fixings, sauces, and a choice of one agua fresca. Delicious. Her set up and display was exceptional, not just your average taco bar, and was one of the deciding factors for me when I chose her. She set up and cleaned up quickly and seamlessly, and you would never have known she was there. We highly recommend Ambrosios. Thanks, Erika! read more
