First of all, the address listed on Yelp is not necessarily where they will be popping up. Good…read morething I texted them first. Happily, someone immediately responded and gave me that night's location, Evan's Brewery in Corona. My drive to the Eastvale address would have been in vain. It's a rented commercial kitchen, not a store front or residence. They do not sell here. I am always on the hunt for a really good smoked brisket. Albert's smoked meats are beyond reproach. He is gifted, providing a product that is moist and delicious. The wood he uses for smoking is one I could never get tired of. I ordered brisket meat only, hoping for a few slices, forgoing the bread and sides in an effort to avoid all the carbs. So what I ended up with was only a small tinfoil packet of meat, well chopped. The Hubs ordered a pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw and baked beans. It came with a small container of their bbq sauce, a very sweet version, on the side. Due to rain, Evans Brewery had graciously opened up their lobby to the Ochoas for setting up their operation. We had expected to bring our food straight home regardless, but there did happen to be a few places we could have plopped ourselves down and ate inside. Once home, we took a good look at what we had spent $42 for. These portions were certainly not intended for anyone who sports a large appetite. Fairly recent pictures of their menu indicated I would be purchasing a half pound of brisket. It was not, more likely around 5 oz. Mr. B's cole slaw and baked beans sides were unremarkable, and sadly, the bbq sauce was overly sweet. This left us with very mixed feelings. While I really loved my brisket meat, and Hubs also said he liked his pulled pork, the smaller servings stunned us, and the sides were unimpressive and meaningless in the scope of things. I figured we were paying close to $60/lb for our meat. I admire the energy and passion they have put into their business. But as nice and friendly as they were, the great tasting meats were not enough to draw us in, and the fact that they are relatively expensive for an informal, seating-less pop-up, left us feeling torn. Just my opinion, but would we patronize them again? Probably not.

Ochoas Smokehouse is Coronas crown Jewel! Albert, the master of smoke and sizzle, brings out…read morelegendary flavors that could turn any casual BBQ lover into a die-hard fan. His pulled pork sandwiches are a smoky symphony of tender, slow-cooked pork piled high and crowned with just the right amount of tangy barbecue sauce. But it doesn't stop there--if you're craving the king of Texas BBQ, look no further than his chopped brisket sandwiches, where every bite bursts with bold, beefy goodness, smoked to perfection. For those wanting a next-level experience, dive into the loaded mac and cheese bowls--creamy, cheesy bliss topped with juicy chunks of smoked meat that'll have you scraping the bottom for every last morsel. And then there are the smoked rib plates--ribs so succulent and packed with flavor that they'll have you debating if you've just discovered the true meaning of BBQ nirvana. But the best part? This isn't a one-man show. Albert's got his family by his side--his daughter SMO brings her own magic to the mix, and his wife, Heather, adds that personal touch that turns Ochoa's Smokehouse into more than just a BBQ spot--it's a family tradition served up in every bite. If you're looking for BBQ that goes beyond the usual and lands straight into unforgettable, Ochoa's Smokehouse is the place to be. Get ready to feast like never before! We felt welcomed and was dealt with promptly before I even had my first bite. This Smokehouse, this family is absolutely world class.

Adonis, Sodany & Ashley were a warm welcoming family who pour their heart and souls into their masterpiece recipes. They came around to each guest checking in on them after their meal. So welcoming and friendly, good hearted people. The 16 hour smoked brisket has that perfect smoke ring with nice bark seasoning. Lemongrass beef skewers are a MUST! Whatever else you order add a skewer or three. The pulled pork was tender shreds of beautifully smoked meat. In the words of Jen the sides are perfect to balance all the richness. Pickled papaya & carrot salad with Cambodian style fried rice which has an unexpected delightful coconut cream to add another component twist to the dish. Everything we tried was awesome! By the end of the night they were sold out! I would definitely luv to try more of their menu whenever they're in town. Tap to pay available. Fun fact: Adonis started smoking meats at home and his son said dad you could sell this. Adonis tried it out and the business began to grow. Now he has been able to run this awesome pop up traveling to the people sharing his passion with every bite.

Their pop-up restaurant moves around to various venues, like wineries and breweries. The service was very good, and Chef Taylor (owner) and his staff were super friendly and open to my feedback. We tried the Old Yeller ($14), a Wagyu beef hotdog served with chips and a sweet pickle. We also tried a bowl of their Wagyu Homestead Chili ($12), topped with cheddar cheese and jalapeños. Their menu primarily focuses on Wagyu burgers, but we had eaten a large breakfast, so we just wanted to try something smaller. I enjoyed pairing the chili on my chips with the red wines we were tasting. We enjoyed everything we tried, and I would love to check them out again to try a burger. I recommend that you follow them on IG ("eatparlor") to see where they'll be popping up next.

I got the cheeseburger combo with fried zucchini and both the burger and zucchini were delicious zucchini was golden on the outside and not mushy inside, and in short thick strips, not quite zucchini fries but not the "FarmerBoy" type giant thick strips either. Don't get me wrong when I want a good fried zucchini, Farmer Boys is still my spot, but I really liked these. My son got a double cheeseburger (no lettuce tomato or onion because he's 11 lol!) and hubby got the double cheeseburger with seasoned fries and all was prepared the way they ordered it, no problems there. The cashier was friendly, fast and efficient and employees all looked clean and friendly. Only issue we had was the cleanliness of the men's restrooms no joke, the men's looked like a crime scene (as told to me by husband and son), I did not visit the women's. I typically will not eat at a restaurant with bathrooms that bad but you can see the food being prepared and as I said employees all looked clean. In closing my only note to the manager would be to get the men's bathroom cleaned up, I deducted one star from my review because of the bathrooms. Other than that? Perfection!
