Came here for dinner and was disappointed. We ordered the salmon burger which didn't taste great, is it frozen?!? My haha 'em ordered the cold lobster roll and the lobster was a very strange texture and consistent, as if it was past its prime. We ordered grilled fish entree for our son which was cod and was good. Pros- very nice staff, plenty of outdoor seating, we didn't have to wait long to order, and the food came out quickly. We then ordered ice cream which was good -- separate window and cash only.

Order Up !!!!

Heard about this place from a friend who lives in the area, so we decided to stop by and have lunch. Food was pretty good, service at the window was excellent, friendly and very accommodating with our questions. While there are no 2 piece combos listed on the menu, you could actually order what you would like as a combination plate. My wife got the shrimps and scallops with a baked potato and I the whole belly clams with scallops and fries. I asked for a side of onion rings but there was some confusion and they just added some to my wife's plate. Either way prices were reasonable, outdoor tables were clean, restrooms were clean as well.

The big phat "regular" chocolate vanilla swirl for $4.50 cash only

Creamy dreamy ice cream. Satisfying chocolate and vanilla swirl. The regular size was a rather phat portion and could have been cut in half to feed two people. Cash only business! There's secret and ample parking in the rear. One of the grossest trashcans I've ever seen in my life is available for your use if you dare touch it. Sometimes I think back to my trip to Italy and how small and cheap the servings of ice cream were. I wish this place would adopt a $1.50 mini soft serve cone option.

One hot and one normal lobster roll!

Amazing food for great prices! We stopped by around 3pm on a Monday and there were a good deal of people there. We ordered the regular lobster roll (with mayo) for $18.95 with a piece of lettuce and the hot lobster roll with butter for $19.95, all on a toasted bun. Each came with a tiny bag of cape cod chips. Each bite had enough lobster pieces and was delicious. Seating - all the seating is outdoor picnic tables. Some are covered, either by a roof or umbrella and there are some in the sun. Parking - there is a lot of parking here, some up front and then some in the back.

Just ordered via phone my early in summer whole belly clams. Cobie's had great specials today, including swordfish. But it was June 2022 clam night for me on my own deck. Very good. This is a classic clam shack. Everything is expensive this summer but Cobie's prices are better than some others. Plus service with many smiles. Thanks!

We were on a clam strips and clam chowder kick during our time on the Cape and tried a whole lotta places up and down but Cobie's clam strips were truly everything and thicc (yes, with 2 cc's). The portions were huge and the prices were just right. You could order food for two people and have a plenty of leftovers. We ordered the clam strips basket, fish & chips, clam chowder and of course, ice cream. The place is generally poppin' with people driving in or biking over but the service is great and there's plenty of seating for you and your friends and family to enjoy a good meal and top it off with some delicious ice cream or a shake. Looking forward to hitting up Cobie's again next summer.

The work - broiled scallops, fried clams, lobster bao buns and clam chowder

I've been coming to Cobie's for over a decade and look forward to it every summer I'm in the Cape. Seafood shacks dot the Cape with varying degrees of success, but Cobie's does it right, hitting the intersection of variety, quality and price. You can find classic fried clams and fish dishes as well as lobster rolls (mostly knuckle meat), burgers & dogs, salads, plus ice creams (wide selection of hard and soft serve). We've done direct taste tests versus other area seafood (Kate's and JT's) and I've always picked Cobie's as the clear winner.

I stopped in quickly to get some fried clam strips to go. They were amazing! Really crispy and fresh. Never disappointed there! I love Cobies! Everything is amazing.

One of our favorite places for deep fried seafood on the Cape! Super convenient off of the bike trail (mile 10.3 marker)

The quintessential Cape Cod clam place. Best fried clams on mid Cape. Very extensive menu and drinks. Right on the Rail Train also!!

The girls up front wear masks but no one in back does, including the cooks and admin staff. No gloves either. Totally irresponsible.

Heart Of The Sea - Yuca fries and Fish Ceviche

I heard so many good things about this place, but it was all lies! Just had the worst experience…read morethere and will never go back. I went for their current advertised Lobster roll special at $23.99. Ordered Exactly as advertised and was charged $25.99. I asked first if it was all claw and knuckle or if they use tail meat too. Oh, definitely both , she exclaimed! I found one small mangled piece of tail at the bottom and it included a sharp piece of shell that hurt my tongue. I told them and showed her the shell. All she did was explain how they try to get it all but they just can't sometimes. I looked at her and said that they aren't doing it right. I asked if she was going to offer me a partial refund and she refused. The Lobster bisque was not a bisque and I don't think there was any lobster in the kitchen when it was made, much less in the pot!! Cole slaw was covered in spicy pepper and neither of us could eat it. Fries were meh! My husband had the fried scallop platter and they were overcooked and super greasy. Disgustingly so. I DK why people like this place but there are so many good places around here where you can get a full service meal, in a real restaurant cooked by real trained chefs and served by professionals who know how to make consumers happy. Total bill with tip was $84.07!!! For a crappy meal with no service and not a clue about customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this garbage.

No aspersions at all, but for the purposes of clarity let me just note that Heart of the Sea is a…read morevery casual cafe, not quite a sit-down restaurant, not the kind of place to take a dinner date you haven't been been married to for, say, more than 5 years. ;) There are a few tables set up for dine-in customers, but I think a lot of their business is takeout. What stands out: Some of the Peruvian / Colombian offerings are fantastic. Staff have a deep sense of kindness and hospitality. Even though they close at 8 p.m., they not only took the Pardner's just-under-the-wire order, but didn't rush us in the least. It wasn't until we'd finished and were on our way out that we noticed the hours -- and that we were 20 minutes past eight. The lobster ceviche was a touch spendy for the price, size, and the amount of lobster included in the dish. But it was very tasty, Peruvian in style and garnished with cancha and sweet potato, just the right amount of heat and acid. Empanadas were, I think, Colombian in style, made out of orange-tinged masa, beautifully deep fried with juicy innards -- wonderful. Tacos were made out of a soft flour tortilla and a hard corn taco shell, I guess not unlike a Taco Bell "chalupa." It was not what the Pardner was hoping for, unfortunately. There were two tacos to an order, which averaged out to be $9 or $10 a taco. Probably a bit steep for those of us who are lucky enough to be in a place where good south and Latin American food is more commonplace. This is the kind of menu I want to get to know. Not everything is to our own personal tastes, but there are some things that this place seems to do very, very well. I'd like to come back for those.
