Cobies, did not disappoint! I had a fried scallop plate and he had the fried whole belly clam plate. Order at the window and get a buzzer when plates were ready. Outdoor seating area was very decorated with the Cape Cod vibe. Also invites you to have an iceceam after dinner, if you can handle all that food! There is handicap parking, and a ramp to the eating area. It is pricey, market price pending, but very delicious! Seasonal, so the last day would be the weekend after Labor day.

There were plenty of other bikers there (as well as locals and vacationers), so I figured it must be a good spot. It's one of those classic counter style seafood spots, with plenty of outdoor seating. Even with the long line, my food was ready pretty quickly. The restaurant had an ice cream counter, but I just stuck to the seafood. I went with half fried shrimp and half fried clam strips with fries. Lots of fried food! I preferred the shrimp over the clam strips because I found them to be a bit too breaded, but that's common. I would for sure come back again. Only thing that could have been better would have been if the restaurant was on the water!

Amazing stop for seafood. It's easily accessible from the Cape Cod Rail Trail (you just have to…read morecross one busy road) and they have a bike rack/plenty of outdoor seating. We came during Sunday lunchtime and didn't have to wait super long to get our food (a god-send, considering how famished I was). They have an extensive menu of basically everything seafood. - Lobster panini: I have a soft spot for paninis. Filled with generous chunks of lobster and lots of cheese, this one was an elevated take on a grilled cheese. Bread was perfectly nice and toasted, with beautiful griddle marks, and didn't scrape the roof of my mouth bloody. 10/10! - Caesar salad with crab cake and scallops. Another must-order. My favorite part of this meal was the crab cake - so moist and dense and well-seasoned, stuffed with crab meat, no filler at all. The scallops were expertly cooked, a nice sear on the outside and tender in the middle, but I would have eaten another crab cake. The only thing I'd skip next time was the lobster bisque, which was just okay, kind of one-note, and not much lobster bits. And I wish they had bottles/cans of drinks, instead of fountain cups with no refills - my cousins/friends living in Europe would be horrified at how quickly I demolished a medium size cup of fountain soda (which, to my eye, looked practically kiddie-sized). Seating: right out front next to the road, indoors, and a back patio. If not for the bikes, we would have picked the back, which was a lot quieter and less dusty. I kept eyeing the ice cream selection but decided, in a rare show of restraint, not to get any, considering I had to bike back to the parking lot.

And it wasn't cheap but I don't feel we were being fleeced eating it. It was a fun treat. We loved it. When the ice cream cafe came in and stole all the business I felt bad and thought it seemed unfair. I would try to get my family to patronize E&B. Kids weren't inclined. Tonight I made them go, i said give it a chance. Well I am fully on the kids' side now. It is really sub par. Super expensive. Half hearted service. Slow. No samples - which for these prices is bizarre. Only okay ice cream. It makes me sad. I wan't to be faithful to the old place --but we will absolutely never go back. 100 yards away is a happy, peppy ice cream store with slew of flavors and carefully made well scooped cones. My kid got a root beer float at Emack tonight. I think it was 9 dollars. A teeny non ball mush of ice cream dumped at the base of a small plastic cup and a can of soda. It was worse than getting fast food. I mean what? My other kid got a small cone. I tipped the servers and left $20 dollars poorer. You must be kidding me. It is like they want to go out of business. They need to regroup or something. It isn't working.
