Missing having onion rings on the menu. Arnold's (and the old Liam's at Nauset Beach) made the best. Condiments are serve-yourself, but you'll have to ask the host for lemon slices. We'll return for fried food but will continue to search other locales. We went back the next night for ice cream and it was just average. $5 for a small scoop in a bowl, we were charged more for a small sundae than what was advertised on the board, and service was very slow. However, the sundae hit the spot and they didn't skimp on the hot fudge and walnuts.

A manager(?) came out to reiterate the delay after a hushed discussion among he and 2 servers. They tried again to offer chowder and clam cakes which we again asked to have served all at once. As we stood there we tried to say this was quite odd that we had no priority based on their process. No comments. We did order dinner as had no other options at that point. We did wait for about 20-25 mins. Only 3 of the 4 orders were served together. The 4th dinner came 5 mins later after we asked for it. I think a show of good faith may have been an offer of onion rings for our table or at least an offer of a lemonade or tea for all. Management needs to help their staff manage the live audience a bit better. Hoping next year is better for all customers.

This year, I also noticed quite a few non-alcoholic wines and beers (more than usual). Service is always friendly and willing to go the extra mile if you have menu questions or tweaks. At the beginning of the 'season' in summer, there are often team members learning, but I've never noticed a drop off in service at all. We had casual conversations with both. The lobster was pre-measured in little bags, obviously steamed, shelled and portioned for rolls in a kitchen somewhere. The other foods offered were hot dogs for kids and andouille sausage on rolls too. There were typical canned sodas to drink and bags of chips. Cars stopped by and did literally, grab and go, causing some traffic backups and horn honking on such a busy road. It was the simplest and blandest roll of our trip, although freshly steamed lobster meat, which we cannot easily get at home in CO for such a low price.
