Whts up with the club music blasting inside? This is a car wash not a club. It's been like this for two months.

This is specifically about the customer service inside. We've been Unlimited Wash members for years, we pay for the highest membership for two vehicles. My son left a toy at the wash and I called to ask if they had a lost and found. The female worker responded abruptly and said "for what?" I detailed the toy and she said "hold on." Placed me on hold and when she came back on the phone she sounded annoyed. She stated "it's not here." And I said "well, I remember seeing it exactly where he left it. Where else would it have gone?" And she responded "probably the trash." I was baffled. I responded, "so you all just throw things away that are left at your carwash?" And she said "yep." I then asked to speak with a manager, and she said "she's not in today." Manager isn't in on a Monday? That's not suspicious. I asked to speak with someone else, she placed me on hold and then hung up on me. I worked in customer service for years, and the lack of consideration and professionalism is jaw dropping... read more

I use cobblestone all the time, however this was first time I have ever used this one. They did terrible job inside and out washing my car. The dash looks like didn't even wipe down the dash. The floor mats are just thrown in. I will go to Ray rd & Priest to have them redo it. The kid wipe down my car, I asked if they called my name, he couldn't even understand what I was asking. I asked 3 different guys out there and they had hard time understanding. Will never go back to this location. read more

Just left this place and my interior doesn't even looked clean. I paid for the platinum and it's as if I paid for an exterior wash only. There's tons of dog hair in the back still, stains on the center console and seats. Maybe you get better interior service if you're a member. But this makes me turn away from getting a membership. read more

The pay at pump doesn't work for tap or insert. I tapped, nothing. I inserted and my card got stuck and I had to pull the gas pump out and put it back so it would release my card then go inside. The guy at the counter said they couldn't do anything about it when I brought up the safety concern regarding credit/ debit cards getting stuck. Dont recommend. read more

We had a complaint against the Alama School and Germann Auto Spa in Chandler AZ placed here nineteen days ago regarding a scam to collect monies from unsuspecting customers for "Unlimited Washes Membership". Their reply to this posting was, Cobblestone Auto Spa Business Manager 3/29/2023 Thank you so much for taking the time to bring this to our attention and we sincerely apologize for the frustrations, (name). We want to be sure to correct any error that may have occurred in this cancelation process. Please send your account info to reviews@cobblestone.com as soon as you can and we will be happy to assist in getting this taken care of, and ensure these overcharges are refunded back to you!" Well, when I contacted their customer service representative here in Arizona (?), one Clinton Shotts, he replied that "the account was closed and refunded $41". When I tried to reach him to inquire about the remaining "overcharges", there was no response to messages. How do these folks sleep at night? We still feel we are owed a refund of $300 for the overcharges but are not holding our breath. Someone needs to somehow contact the ownership and let them know how their reputation is being damaged. I was up sold into spending $200. That's fine as I needed detailing. I was told wait time of one hour. It took well over two hours, and when I asked staff about the status they were rude, didn't want to tell me how much longer it would take, and told me it was my fault they were taking so long. I would have asked for a refund, but didn't want to prolong my experience any longer. Long story short I will not be returning nor recommending cobblestone to anyone. Ive had my membership for a few months now and it's proven to not be worth it (I moved the chandler area summer 2024)First time I went there is a female employee (maybe 20, youngest one there?) who doesn't like me, gives me looks never greets me, nothing. There are other employees who are nice so it didn't bother me. Each time I go that employee is always rude and stares me down. The last time I went to this location was during my lunch break. I was waiting in line and she was greeting other cars in line and when she came up to my car walked away. She came back with another rude employee who yelled at me to bring my window down and stop. The entire conversation was condescending, older employee was trying to charge me $25 to pressure wash my car because of bird crap. I said no because it will get washed off and the lady said I wasn't allowed to. I was basically kicked out of the car wash I pay membership to because of not wanting to pressure wash my car and a rude employee!!! I went to a different location and they let me go through no problem. Shame on their employee who they have hired to make people feel uncomfortable. I can't seem to cancel my membership. I have submitted 4 requests & they are still charging me. I'm going to dispute all charges.

I brought my nearly new pick up to this location for an event where they were raising funds for the fallen Chandler Police officer. For $10 we got a full-service wash and I must say it wasn't even worth the $10. My vehicle with less than 2500 miles on it was not vacuumed and the windows were not cleaned. The dashboard was not wiped down and neither was the console. The exterior wash that was done by the machine seem to be just fine. I left feedback on the website and received a call back from Nick. He offered me a free The Works wash to try to make up for it. Last Saturday I brought my vehicle back for round two. Once again, the interior vacuuming was not completed and there were still handprints on the interior glass from my daughter. If I had actually paid $29 for this wash service, I would have been irate. I called back today and spoke with Dale. I am awaiting a call back from Nick to see what he can offer me. There are closer self-service locations to where I live and I would prefer to vacuum the interior myself as they seem to have a problem with that. Overall, I am dissatisfied with the workers that actually complete the interior cleaning of the cars and think they could do a lot better. Update: since I brought my car back for a complimentary "works" wash but they did a WORSE job the second time. You would think they would put a little extra effort in if they knew they were trying to make up for a bad experience. Literally zero effort but still expected a tip. Nick offered me a wash and interior detail after hearing about the second experience. I am not going to take their offer. I do better with a $5 wash and vacuuming myself. I was gifted a trial coupon. I drove up scanned it in, and proceeded to the wash. The young man sprayed my car off and then I proceeded through the wash. What a wonderful job and it did get all the bugs off of my vehicle. Appreciate the locality of the spot, and the quick service. Definitely a go to. The value of the coupon was $13 so that is much better than the price I have been paying elsewhere. Free vacuums too. read more

Friday morning, moderately busy here. Brought in my 1996 Lincoln Town car. Got the $23 wash. Noted that my receipt stated " new car" probably referring to not having been there before. Maybe that gets me preferential treatment? Anyway, got out in 1/2 hour with a fresh clean car. Satisfied, would return. read more

Here we go with another terrible customer service review. Trying to cancel my monthly subscriptions. Followed directions online and did not get a confirmation of submission (convenient for them so that we can't take them to court). Submitted for two cars. And they keep billing me. I call and get a customer service number (602) 867-5939, immediately goes to voice mail with a "promise" to call back within 2-3 business days. Yeah, that callback has not happened. Perhaps this review might get someone to do something... Next stop Arizona Attorney General's office and the BBB. read more

Threw my receipt out with some trash by mistake and Marcos got it put for me. I walk with a cane and he ran and opened the door for me to enter the store. The are always gentlemen. I have had Express Wash for a couple years. I came to get a wax and detail done to my car. I paid an extra $117 to get it detailed. I came out and I guess I'd have to pay an extra couple hundred dollars to get my car actually cleaned properly. So 3 hours later and way more money than I'd like to spend there are still bug guts and other spots on my car. The interior still has a bunch of dog hair on it which is the reason I paid the extra money. Basically I would have to pay hundreds of more dollars to actually get it clean. Half of this stuff I was able to scrape off with my fingers within seconds. They are doing the hair removal again but to remove water spots and bug juice I'd have to pay over one or two hundred dollars more after it was JUST washed and detailed. Young kids at the entrance did not spray my car down when my car finished the car wash the front was still covered in bugs asked a young kid if it was supposed to look like that and he came back with "did they spray the front I said no" he said "that wasn't correct". I said, "Then you need to get your manager and he said I am the manager and he walked off. Last week I went to Duck car wash and paid less money and the car had zero bugs on it. Traveling the roads on the exact same roads every week same dirt and bugs but different results....Save your money. Folks, go to another car wash. I have been going to the Cobblestone on 59th Ave. & Bell ever since it opened... They seem to be doing worse & worse every time I go there. Today I went in to get my car detailed it included shampooing carpets/mats/doors/console/seats & upholstery after waiting almost 30 minutes they came to tell me that it would be an additional $200 so basically $400 total to do the detailing since someone had thrown up in my car.. I am very irritated & will definitely not be using their detailing services ever again. They should've told me this upfront rather than waiting for me to pay & giving me a receipt!! That is false advertising!! I have found somebody that will detail the inside & outside of my car for less than what I initially paid plus they come to my house so I don't even have to go anywhere... I am very dissatisfied with this company (Cobblestone) & will definitely not be using them for any special services such as detailing or oil changes in the future.. After pulling into the correct lane for an oil change, the gentlemen in the garage all looked up, said nothing, and ignored me for 5 minutes. There was one car in the garage ahead of me. After 5 minutes and very little movement in the garage I got out, waved, and said "here for an oil change". A gentleman came over and tersely instructed me to where I needed to go inside the garage. I'm not bothered by curt speech, as long as the quality of the work is there. It is not. A 15 minute oil change wasted 45 minutes of my time with absurd upsales for things like rid-a-rat (which is facing multiple class action lawsuits for fraud and false advertising) and a new air filter to replace my brand new air filter. As I am confident the dust on my battery compartment that this gentleman pointed out to me is in no evidence of a rat infestation, despite his condescending argument that "they're a thing around here", I balked at the $45 fee and did not buy it. I went to coblestone in Tempe in the Autoloop to get a conventional Oil changed I verified I was an unlimited car wash cutomer for a few years now I asked the tenant how much for a conventional Oil change he said do to my loyalty I would get 50% off so it would be around $29.00 or so with taxes this is the location I had my oil changed at and they did do a conventional oil change at the time so I agreed to it then when drove it up to the Oil change area the guy comes back and said they do not have the conventional Oil it will have to be synthetic I asked how much he said $99.00 I said with my Loyalty discount it should be $50.00 or so he said no and said could reduce it to $70.00 I had noticed the guy under the car had already drained the oil I let him know I would not pay the $70.00 so left and washed my car then checked the oil and it was low after the rep put the oil back in my car. I live in Arizona and had to go to three locations in the east valley. I purchased online the basic wash and they sent me a bar code. None of these locations could not read bar code. I had to repurchase car wash. I called corporate twice leaving messages and no response. I have been corresponding via email with someone at cobblestone for two weeks now asking me to resend bar card, debit from bank account but to date on refund on the bad bar code. I recently purchased a new vehicle and I wanted to find a car wash that had multiple locations, friendly staff etc... The gentleman (Daniel) who helped me sign up for a membership was awesome, I truly appreciate the customer service. I saw him again today and I expressed some of my concerns. I have been a member for about two months now and I take the car once a week if not twice depending on if I park in the garage or not. I know I'm not paying for a detail, however I am paying 40.00 a month and I believe that my car could be cleaner especially with the package I have. I will continue to take my car here for now and when I do have a problem I always try to let them know right away to fix it. Went to this Chandler location and it started out rough. After going to the Surprise Location for 3 years and getting my Jeep back looking AMAZING every time, I expected the same here. I went to the Alma School/Germann location. The first run my Jeep came out horrible- still dirty everywhere. After talking with the manager he said sorry and he would make it right. He took my vehicle back and re did the wash and it came back Awesome. This is what I expected because this is what the other location did. Kudos to the Manager for making the effort and getting it right - even if it was the second time. I will go back and we will see if it continues. read more
