The place radiates friendliness and you truly feel like a regular when you walk in, warmly greeted right away and taken care of the entire duration of your meal. My family had returned after a long day of theme park food and I needed something lite - and their seasonal salad was just what I needed. It was a very generous portion with some of my the sweetest strawberries I've ever had with candied walnuts, feta cheese, and a delicious vinaigrette to go along with it. Skip the theme park dining when you can - or at the very least, supplement it with this delicious cuisine and friendly service.

Our first night in Sandusky landed us in this small tavern right across Lake Erie…read more Very casual vibe and everyone was very accommodating but seemed overwhelmed. For an appetizer, we ordered the wedge salad and the Buffalo Chicken dip. I got the perch dinner for my main course. The kid got a chicken sandwich and my wife got the brisket Mac n cheese. They said that the kitchen was backed up. Honestly, it was totally not an issue. We were just relaxing, watching the game and chilling after a 7 hour drive from NJ. What was an issue was...... appetizers came out exactly the and time as the main courses. WHY????????? It couldn't have taken that long to throw blue cheese, bacon and tomatoes on a chunk of lettuce and pump out the Buffalo Chicken dip and then worry about the main courses later. Now we have to decide, do we want to eat the entrees or even touch the appetizers. That alone always ruins everything. Food was very good. Like I said, people were very nice but you just can't bring everything out at once. Defeats the point of "starting" with something.

This is a super cool public market hall in downtown Sandusky with maybe 15ish (just a guess) local businesses like a bakery, bowling alley, axe throwing game space, ice cream shop and boutiques. This is a cool place to spend an hour or two just browsing and supporting local while grabbing some dessert. The building has some type of history to it which I was unable to readily find online (boo, that is so odd). But the history is paid homage in the design of this space, with old timey photos of Sandusky and Cedar Point blown up on the walls and little stories to accompany them. The design is actually brilliant. It's a cool mixture of old school heritage meets modern rustic vibes. It makes you want to stop and look. The businesses in this building are open during the pandemic, just make sure to check with each business directly before visiting as most of the hours are likely changed. I stopped by here extremely quickly (I do not go out much during the pandemic) to pick up some pre-paid birthday treats from Bake Erie. It has a spacious, accessible parking lot and is just a joy to browse. Check it out for yourself, than continue exploring the surrounding area of local businesses... and Lake Erie :)

Was very accommodating. She was very nice, sweet and pleasant. My only concern, having a restaurant myself, when we say "thank you" to her when she did something for us. She said, " no problem", instead of "you're welcome" or you're very welcome", meaning she cared. No problem makes people think there was a problem or I was a problem. Think about this for a minute. Not over yet. Once we had come into the restaurant, I asked if they had a sweat shirt that I can purchase because I didn't think that I needed to wear warmer clothing it was 77 degrees outside but the air was chilly. They said no. That is when I said ok. We were seated , it was much cooler in the restaurant than it was outside. By the way, it was last of June. I asked my husband to go back to our hotel and get me a sweater. I ordered for him. His brother was with us and he ordered his meal. He returned with my sweater and Micala said are you warmer and I said yes thank you. She again said no problem. I noticed that she and other wait staff were wearing long sleeves, and hoodies. I said you guys cold too, she said she was always cold. I would have liked her to say "I mentioned this to my boss". I always ask my staff to let me know immediately concerns so I would not receive this type of review assess the issue at that time. Not over yet, my husband and I got our salad and drinks, and appetizer. We were happy with the service thus far. Then my husband and received or rib dinner, by the way, the ribs were delicious. My brother-in-law did not receive his cheese burger dinner at the same time we received our dinner. We waited and waited for his dinner. My husband and I were done eating. My brother-in-law still had not received his dinner. Backing up abit, we asked for more paper towels and ketchup, which we had very little when we received our dinner, and again Micala said again " no problem". That was never going to happen I guess. We got up and exchanged them from a another table. Ok, we had to get her attention to let her know about the brother-in-law not getting his meal. Once he received his cheese burger dinner, he said it also was delicious. The food was great. Ok see where some issues that need to be address. I can see where you are thinking, we are terrible customers. Seriously, we are not. We were very pleasant and tried to understand why....our meal came to $91.00 plus for 3. We gave Micala 22% tip. Remember we had a restaurant and I did not want anyone to leave my restaurant feeling as we did. Your restaurant could be so successful, it has great bones, in a great place. By the way, the restaurant on a Saturday, was not busy. Even when we left little after 6 pm. Please help your staff. They have great potential.

Pretty much this has really become my favorite place to grab some much needed sustenance when inside Cedar Point as the Foldovers are all really good and definitely unique as I haven't seen any other parks doing sandwiches like this! The crispy chicken one is delicious it's full of lettuce tomato crispy chicken and some ranch dressing to make it just that much better with that yummy Foldover bread which kinda resembles a pita bread and you know it just fits! The Italian one is also really good too as it's filled with Italian meats and some veggies with a vinaigrette to ad some more zest to something that's already yummy! The meatless sausage one thought is also definitely where it's at as it's also one of the best vegetarian options in the park this Foldover sandwich packs some flavorful goodness inside just get it and you'll see what I mean! They accept Dinning Pass here so definitely take advantage of that or don't forget to use your season pass for a discount off your purchase! The Foldovers come with fries or a side salad so just let them know and you'll be all good with your sandwich! They also have chicken tenders here but it's all about the folded goodness so just get one you'll be thankful you did! Overall delicious goodness inside the park you soo know I'll be coming here again soon for some Foldover yumminess!
