My son had been trying to find a bag for his girlfriend's birthday. We called around and none of the stores here in California had any. I was given the number to the Hagerstown, MD store saying they might have a couple left. I called and was promptly greeted on the phone by a pleasant woman named Izora. She asked how she could be of assistance and I asked if they can ship a bag to California if it was in stock. She told me yes, it is not a problem. She asked for the style and name and confirmed there were indeed a couple of the bags left in store. I needed to make sure it was the right bag since there are different prints in that style and didn't want to pay and get shipped the wrong one. Izora asked if she could place me on a brief hold and went to verify in person. She sent me a photograph of the bag to give a visual assurance. She was not asked to do that, she did that on her own. After I confirmed that was indeed the one we were looking for, she set up an account for me. I was sent a secure link and checked out in under a minute. Once the transaction was complete, Izora remembered I said it was for a gift. She told me she would wrap it up nice since it was a gift. I was sent a confirmation with the tracking number in less than an hour. She went above and beyond and was very courteous. I am very pleased with my experience and can't wait for the bag. Not sure that I will ever need to use the Coach store in Hagerstown again but this experience was a good one. Thank you. read more

I was in the area over Memorial Day weekend and the entire outlet was having sales of one sort of another. Id been saying for the last few years that I want me a leather white handbag to use during summer and with the cost of handbags getting more and more ridiculous over the years, I was happy to see a 50% off all purchases banner in the window from a retailer that I associate with good quietly. On this particular day, (the Thursday before Memorial Day) the store was fully staffed, to a point of being almost over staffed. I know I spoke to at least sale associates and there wasn't six customers in the entire store. The best part was that even clearance items were 40% off and then 50% off the remaining balance. I saw a pair loafers I wanted but or course they were not available in my size. One of the sales associates took the time to not only search the computer for the shoe, but called two other stores to see if they had them in stock since the computer showed low quanity for the shoes. I ended up getting a $400 Coach purse for $149 and ended up having to forgo the shoes since the only other location that showed possibly having them was four hours away. Store is spacious and the layout gives you room to browse without feeling like you in someones way. read more

I've become a fairly recent fan of the Coach brand and their quality leather goods. The stores I've frequented have been those in NYC, the one at Tanger Outlets south of ATL, and the one at Gaffney Outlets in South Carolina. I've found the level of customer service at these locations to be exceptional. Against this backdrop, I am admittedly aghast at the lack of customer attentiveness at this particular location in Hagerstown. My husband and I walked into this particular location, and immediately experienced the frostiness of being ignored by the majority of the staff. Only one staff member named Courtney, was really sweet and treated us with kindness, while the rest seemed aloof and absorbed by a cloud of what I perceived as snobbishness, especially as the store wasn't busy on this occasion. At one point, I requested one staff member on the sales floor to assist me in unbuckling the clasp of a watch and she curtly replied that she was "on a break right now" and that she'd get another associate to help me. She then proceeded to get back to her phone while going to get someone to help me. As her colleague assisted me, she continued to fiddle with her phone while still on the sales floor. I've trained professionals in customer service in the past, and must comment that this type of behavior is unprofessional and does much to taint the brand. Luckily, Courtney was the one to handle the purchases my husband made, and did so professionally and politely. Overall, however, I hope this location gets its act together. In the meantime, I'll opt to reserve my stars for those sales associates who value the consumers who pay their salaries. read more

The layout of this place is really nice. My friend said my eyes were glowing when I entered the store . Well it did because they had some really cute stuff in here . Clothes , wallets , scarfs , everything! I ended getting a coach bag as a birthday gift . And I really liked it. ! It's glittery and doesn't have the coach print on it which I found different! No one helped me but The sales associates here are nice . I gave it 4 stars because one of the associates had me walking back and forth because their computer system was having difficulties to purchase my stuff. Luckily the problem was fixed to get the stuff I wanted yay! read more

Ok, personally, I'm not a huge Coach fan. However, we wandered in here to see if we could pick up a gift for someone. The prices were better then in the regular stores...but nothing insane or exciting. The clearance section had lots of stuff...just nothing really worthwhile, and the store in general was paaaaacked. However, the staff was pretty nice and layout of the store was easy to navigate. read more

Oh the Coach Outlet store! Fun and always busy. They bribe me in the door with their additional percentage off coupons and even when I forget mine at home the lovely sales ladies stroll around the store to offer me another coupon. Selection is great, the store brightly lit, rock bottom mark downs and clearance items are in the back left corner. The store is located in a great spot for a "drive by" shopping spree. I can be parked, in-n-out with several lovely Coach items purchased lickety split. My hubby is amazed! If only I could get laundry finished just as quickly :( Alas it isn't as much fun! read more

Had a great experience here with my 2 daughters. The salesgirl took the time to find us the perfect "starter" purse for my 11 year old. They were having an amazing sale too, so I was able to pick up a birthday present for my sister, a purse for my daughter, a wallet for my other daughter and a purse for myself - all for under $180. read more

First, the good news. I bought a $350 (retail) purse for $90ish including tax. A great deal. Now the bad news. The manager here (long, dark curly hair) has no class. None. I asked if they still had a tote bag I saw earlier, and she snapped that they only had the ones on the shelf left. When I picked the one up that I wanted, I said "Okay, I'll take this one." Then she snapped (again) "You have to wait in line! It's first come, first serve," like she worked in a prison. Just sayin.' Ruined my whole shopping experience. I wish I could give this location zero stars. Like other reviewers stated, the poor customer service is shockingly apparent for certain customers. I circled the store for 15 minutes without a single greeting or an offer of assistance. Even when I commented about my experience to Harvey, the manager on duty, he was condescending and rude. I've been a Coach customer for many years and this was, by far, the worst experience I've had at a Coach store. read more

beware! this outlet will report you to the Coach corporate office if you buy too many bags. obviously, the employees here have nothing better to do. such super obnoxious behavior. you will be handed a letter in front of all the other customers letting you know you are no longer authorized to purchase Coach bags from ANY Coach store. they will ask you to leave. seriously messed up. glad to see the Coach stock falling daily. read more
