The vibe I got immediately from this place was that I'm inside of a Wal-Mart or a Kohls for bags. No professionalism from the staff at all. We were never greeted, we were never helped throughout the entire walk around the entire store. And after our purchase we walked passed two people dressed fairly sharp who looked at us and said absolutely nothing on our exit just a blank stare. Not what I'm use to with other coach stores, they need to shut this store down or retrain the entire staff. read more

kim was the sweetest! took her time she was patient, and not pushy at all eventhough they were ready to close. Alex and the register was horrible. i'm glad the manager was at the door so i was able to express myself with his horrible service. another person at the register told him to take us, and he said "me again?" the other person said he will take you, i approached his register and i said hi, didn't get a reply, instead he complained to his co worker. i would come back for kims help, but definitely not for Alex's rude service. read more

Coach is one of my favorite brands and you will find me shopping here very often. I come so often that most of the sales associates know who I am. All of the sales associates have always been very helpful, which is another reason I continue to shop here. I have a bag that I bought at the retail store on Rodeo the week before, that didn't come with a strap. When I explained what had occurred to Christian, in sales, he was kind enough to give me one, so I put it in the bag that I was purchasing that day. At check out, I saw that the cashier that was attending me, Perla, had handed a strap to another guy behind the counter, but I didn't give it any importance. When I got home, I realized that the strap that she handed to guy was my strap that sales associate, Christian, had given to me. Rather than bringing the strap to my attention, she took it out with out telling me anything. She could have easily asked me about the strap. I feel offended that she secretly took it out, as if I was trying to steal it or trying to get away with something. I am very disappointed and feel disrespected that a customer who has spent thousands of dollars shopping here was treated this way. read more

Last week, my colleague Xiao Lin accompanyed me to drive to Commerce Coach Outlet Store. I bought some coach bags and purses. Actually, I don't like some expensive luxury brand. For example Coach, LV, Guess, MK and so on, I'm sorry, I don't know other brands. But my friend Xiao Lin talked to me lots of Luxury Brands. She is young, maybe I'm old. Wow, you know, Chinese people knew a very famous saying that is "The waste into and easy, And by the frugal difficult." Do you know why I bought them, because my mother likes them, in fact, she is quite frugality. I love her and I don't see her about 4 years, I miss her and my family members. Mother said if you bought the coach bag, I will give you money to pay. But I can't let mother pay. When I went home that night, I sent a email to my mother, I want to give her a surprise. I think she can feel my too much care. Mother said you don't have a good bag, you can use the coach bag, I told my mother, that's yours, I took photos and send them to my mother, she said I like it. Haha, that's great. I want to say, mother, that is not a coach, that's your daughter's true heart. Thank you coach. Hope everything well. Well, Well...... 2012.11.2 read more

This place is great! The sales associates here are really helpful and nice. The place loses a star because they had a limited amount of items on stock. I was looking at a wallet where most of the selections had scratches. The sales associate told me it was natural but I wasn't buying it. When I actually found one with no scratches, it then ended up with something stuck to it. I asked the sales associate if he could help me clean the wallet. Thats when he told me to buy a bottle of leather cleaner for it. I advised him I wasn't going to buy a bottle of cleaner to clean something so small. He offered to eventually clean it, but came back to me telling me it was just a scratch that wouldn't come off!!! I ended up just wiping it off with my finger and the goo came off. I was better off not asking! The prices here are reasonable. I wish they had additional discounts but I guess those happen during holiday sales? Despite these issues, I still really liked the sales associates friendliness. I'd shop here again! The outlet has a huge parking lot but in LA, spots go quickly! read more

Didn't have a yelp account two years ago but I would say it was a five star experience before. Last year's selection around Christmas holidays was so damn good. Some of the products can be found in actual Coach stores. As a young adult now, I got cross-body bag here and also got a new wallet that's more "grown-up". Friends and older folks love all the stuff I got because they're made with *actually* good quality leather and the design doesn't look cheap. I went to Vegas recently and visited a legitimate Coach store where the other boutiques are located (Forum Shops at Caesar's FYI). An associate there said that she wears the same handbag as me! So, I hope my anecdotes illustrate how amazing the Coach designs were before. Service at this location last year was also fantastic. I'm also not quite sure why I remember the associate's name Alexa, but she's great since she gave suggestions on which bag I should buy and also helped my mom very patiently. Didn't feel uncomfortable at all. Maybe I still remember her since I felt bad for asking so much help (it was my first real handbag after all!) I visited again this past summer and today to look around. I'm sad to say that this Coach outlet is quite average. The designs look *very* outdated and even looks older than last year's. The quality of the leather looks worse. I even saw the same wallet that I bought a year ago. It looks poorly made and the leather seems to be from leftover leather that isn't high quality. Seems like Coach Outlet is breaking their promise of how all Coach products are made with the same quality and care. The difference is too obvious now. Honestly, I'm just utterly disappointed in this store and won't be coming back. Seems like Coach Men is solid though. read more

This would've been a five star review had it not been for the manager and some lady that was working downstairs that I unfortunately didn't get their names; they seemed to have an attitude on them and I really didn't appreciate the fact that the older lady fixing the wallets downstairs, when I asked if they had any wallets similar in color to the purse in my hand, said we only have whats here...when every other staff member would direct me in the right direction/ go to the back and look for items. However, Kim helped me out a lot and also introduced me to their member benefits. She was honestly so sweet and also gave me lots of info of items and future specials/future inventory levels. Not to mention, she was working the upstairs floor and even managed to offer to walk me downstairs to show me a wallet that would match great for another person I was carrying around. Also, the lady that completed my transaction was also very helpful. I asked her to give me her opinion on two purses that I couldn't decide on for a gift and when she completed my transaction I was about to ask her for a smaller bag to place the purse/wallet I was gifting in, but she was already on it and was about to place it in the large bag with my items! read more

What a terrible experience. I will no longer buy from Coach. I bought at an outlet 3 hours away. Came home changed my mind. Went to a local outlet 30 minutes away the store was closed. Went to a store at the mall and was directed back to outlet. It was again closed. Called customer service got a return label sent back the purse called again twice waited over 30 minutes each time....was told I'd have a refund...well they sent the purse back to me! For the first time in life, I entered a store I never thought I would see myself enter. However, a couple weeks before today, my iPad bag broke and I was in search of a extreme replacement. You would think I would get it a an electronic store, but I got my new iPad bag at Citadel's new addition to its store, Coach Men. There is another Coach at Space 616 for the women, but now Coach opened up another just dedicated for the men at Space 715. I guess Coach is a popular store to branch out. Who knows what store may open up next? Coach Kids? I'd fund it in a heartbeat. This store is brand new. You'll see on the Store Directory that Coach Men is supposed to open in November 2013, but didn't specify what day in November. I guess I came in at the right time. You'll see wall of luggages, bags, glasses, and belts throughout the store. While most of the guys were looking at the wallets and belts, I looked at my prospective expensive iPad leather bag. There were several designs, but I saw a full black leather bag that called my name, Coach Ryan! I wasn't sure if it exactly would fit my iPad, but then the label confirmed it did fit the iPad. The Coach iPad bag's name is officially called, HWL Flight Bag. Original Price $298. With the Grand Opening, I got it at a steal for $159, a $139 discount. I didn't even get this much of a discount on my vehicle :P After spending that much money for a small bag, I earned preliminary title of Man-Diva for the day. Even the Sales Associate, Bri, knew that I had high taste especially when I demanded the big Coach Bag. Sorry Bri, you know I meant well and, you did read my mind quite well. I can mark this off my list that I bought something from Coach for myself and not for a girl. Weird eh? Next thing you know, I'll start buying Michael Kors. I guess I am touching my inner self and fully emphasizing getting to know more of the stores I had a closed mind on. However, I can tell you one thing is for sure, a Fossil Watch will only touch my left wrist and possibly Coach will forever wrap around my shoulders. Can't wait to take my Flight Bag with me soon to my daily routine or my random adventure. Yelp! The One Stop Place For Your Everyday Research! read more

Went into the Coach men store in the citadel outlet mall this morning. I had never bought anything from coach before. As soon as i walk through the door, there are sales associates handing out 50% off coupons, which really peaked my interest. I walked around the store and saw a black leather backpack, which i really liked. The backpack retails for $595, but it was discounted down to $429. What was even better was that the 50% off coupon that i was handed, brought down the msrp price to $215 before tax. I was helped out by a beautiful woman named jacqui, she saw that i was interested in the bag, and she helped me to calculate the price. I told her i would take the bag, and she asked if she could get me a new one from the back, i really appreciated this. The display model was in good shape but i really appreciated that she actually got me a new bag from the back without me even needing to ask. Another sales associate rang up the bag at the counter, and he was very friendly. I was able to score a beautiful for bag for a fantastic price. Overall i had a great experience at the coach men store, i was treated kindly despite the fact that i was a little underdressed. I will likely return to the store to check out what else they have. read more

Today I had the most horrible experience at this outlet. I went to the coach outlet to exchange/repair a leather backpack I bought from them no more than a week ago. The manager was rude and kept insisting that I cut the leather of the bag myself. The bag is only a week old. They said they would not refund or exchange the item and they didn't even offer a repair. And the manager kept insisting they knew the exchange policy. They offered me no help whatsoever. When I called customer service they said I should've been offered a repair because it was under one year warranty and that I can go to another store to receive a FREE repair. This coach outlet has HORRIBLE customer service. Never buying anything from them again. read more

My wife and I went to Coach at Citadel cause the handle on the bag came off. The bag was a gift and when we got there and asked for help, the girl helping us stated without a receipt they were not able to fix the bag since their policy to fix hardware is only good for 1 year. I would think they are able to see when the bag first came out for sale and help from there. With such disappointment, we left and walked around. Another staff named Maryann Murillo was next to the girl helping us and went looking for us to support our request. I guess she noticed the disappointment on our faces and my comments about the lack of service. She asked to see the bag and commented that she noticed that the bag was hardly used and that my wife took care of the bag well. She told us that she is able to do a one-time courtesy fix. She was very polite and explained everything to us about how the process worked why she came looking for us that she wanted us to have a good impression of Coach and its products. Coach is better known for their woman purse, but you be surprise to find there's a lot of thing for men as well. Some stuff here clearly not just for men, such as the backback, Iphone, and Ipad case. Some of those are good deal approaching CK price range. Staff here is awesome, they greed you when you coming in and leaving. Other premium outlet can learn a thing or two from this store. So I came in here a few times during this Holiday season. They had an incredible sale with all items somewhere between 30-70% off and they were promoting an additional 30% discount taken off the final price at the register. The 2 stars -- the quality of the bags looked like the fake Coach bags in downtown. No joke. The signature canvas bags had crooked seams and just looked poorly assembled. The leather bags were okay, but they were all old styles that haven't been seen in the Coach stores or department stores in quite a few seasons. The best items in the store I would say are the leather wallets. No surprise that out of everything in the store, they were the most expensive items. The only item I really had my eye on was a long wallet. After all the discounts, it was $148. All the bags were somewhere between $65-150. Yes, the store has tons of bags in plenty of styles, but the quality is definitely not high end. These bags seem like they were made with leftover materials just for the factory outlet store. I noticed most of the people in line for the register with tons of bags dangling from their arms were tourists visiting for the holidays. I know luxury items here in the US are even more expensive in countries such as China or France, so this store is perfect for foreigners visiting and want to bring special gifts back home. Quality is not what you'd expect from Coach, but it will do for someone who's looking for a designer name without breaking the bank. read more

I am conflicted with the Coach Outlet store. On one hand, I love seeing all of the different bags and happy to see that they are actually quite affordable. But on the other side, I have finally learned the truth between Coach bags from the outlet versus the Coach bags from their retail store. In general, outlet stores (Gap, Michael Kors, Banana Republic, etc) are not the same like they have been 20+ years ago. Back in the day, retail stores would send their surplus and last season items to their outlet stores. However, as years passed, that method was no longer able to keep up with the demand for consumers to purchase at outlets (since outlets have the reputation of helping buyers save on major spending). So in order to make customers happy and still make money, stores like Gap & Banana Republic have a separate facility that make items just for their outlets/ factory stores (the next time you go into a Gap Outlet, you will see on the label that states the item is made for the factory store). But in order to sell such items at a discounted price, these items will not have the same quality and stitching as their retail stores (so you really do get what you pay for at the outlet.. sometimes you really are not getting a really good deal and are better off purchasing items from a retail or department store clearance or sales section). Anyways, now that you have this knowledge... let me finish off my review of the Coach outlet (by the way, another way to tell an item was from an outlet, often times manufacturers will have a different label on their items to differentiate which came from the outlet and which came from retail if it doesn't have the obvious "factory store" label as I had mentioned above. For Coach outlets, the label will have Coach est 1941. However for items from their retail stores, the label will have Coach New York. There are a few other things as well, but knowing this information about the label is an easy one to spot). Employees here are nice and some are pretty helpful. I think it is always kind of odd that every time I come to the Citadel Outlet, this store is ALWAYS having 50% off all their items though. There is definitely plenty of bags to look through and see if any catch your fancy. But for me, I am pretty picky and sometimes Coach doesn't always have the style I am looking for. Oh and by the way, just wanted to mention that if you like shopping at outlet stores (there is nothing wrong with that, don't get me wrong), there are some items still from the retail store that do find it's way to the outlet at a discounted price (as I had purchased a clutch on my most recent visit here and that item was from a retail store for more than half off the originally price). You just have to look though. read more

Damn you coach outlet store! I must've spent at least 5 hours this week in the store looking, feeling, and sniffing the bags. I came on the Saturday after black friday and it was total chaos in the store. Tip: if you have a baby stroller stay outside the store! There is no room in the store so carry yo kid or leave it outside! Anyways, I've never owned a coach bag and the discounts were amazingly awesome on that Saturday. I bought three bags because some were discounted at half price, then you for an additional 30% off coupon at the door! Then I went back again because my friend wanted to see the bags. I bought another one. Then another day I thought I wanted to exchange the color of one of my bags and went again only to buy another bag. I have problems and need a 12 step program. read more

I like shopping at outlets! Can't go wrong with saving extra money on your favorite brands! Lately I saw the design and color that I liked in Coach signature line. I've been eyeing on LV key/coin pouch but it is too expensive so when I saw Coach had it, I was super happy!! Can't go wrong with LV $$$ to Coach $$. It was cute, durable, and trendy. It had the key ring, zipper, card slot, and outer card slot. I purchased one in dark color and light color. Went a week and a half before Christmas, it was insanity. There was a line to get into the store, and once you got in you could move 6 inches at a time. I read that Coach made separate bags to go to their factory outlets, and I believe it. A lot of the bags were mass produced just for the factory. The quality was a bit shoddy, nor were the bags very pretty. There are bags that came from the regular Coach stores. Kind of few and far between though, and definitely none before Christmas. read more

The Coach customer service at Citadel Outlets had my wife and I feeling like we didn't belong there. We requested help from 3 different employees on the store floor and we were denied great customer service 3 times for each different situation. The first associate had her attention drift away as she was explaining something to us. In the end, she just left us hanging. The second associate refused to grab another bag from the back saying they only sell from the store floor. There were two of the bags we wanted on the shelf. Both of those bags were not in pristine condition which is why we requested to see another but... she refused. We settled for one of the bags. Now we wanted a matching wallet. We asked the a different associate. When we asked a different associate, she looked briefly but ended up just pointing us in a different section and said it could be over there. We have never ever been treated like that before. The only reason I can think of why we were treated like that is because of the way we looked. In the end, we were probably judged or deemed as the "they're not going to buy anything" type of raggedy customers. We spoke to the manager about our concerns. He appeared genuine with concern and intent to address his team of the mishap. He also helped us himself after the fact which is why we gave two stars instead of one. It was a shame that the high end world class customer service expectations didn't meet its standard. read more
