The also has all the side condiments you would want to go with your pho which is hard to find around here. The service was also amazing, they sat us down quickly, took our orders almost right away, and the food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The restaurant itself was well decorated, bright, and clean. Another late review, but here it is!…read more The place was packed when we arrived. I ordered the Chicken Pho to go, and we waited quite a while--probably because of the number of people coming in for Thursday night dinner. The restaurant is pretty small, with just a few tables and a bar that takes up about a third of the space. Despite being small and a bit crowded, the dining area was clean and well-kept. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take a photo of my pho. I was too excited to dig in! And then came the disappointment. The chicken was tough and had very little flavor. It seemed like the thin slices of chicken breast may have been cooked separately in boiling water rather than in the broth. The broth itself was also too bland for my taste and, unfortunately, was a bit cold. Overall, I've had much better pho elsewhere. For me, this one was pretty mediocre when it came to the pho. I'm not sure if I'll come back, but who knows? I'd still like to try some of their entrees before making a final judgment on the restaurant. For the pho, though, I'd give it 2 stars.

Either they didn't give me extra or they just don't give out a lot. You can see from the pic how much I got. I personally don't call that extra when eating Pho. I don't put the mint in my Pho so the cilantro is important to me. I put in all the onions and sprouts. Baby I only use about 2 of the huge jalapeños. They are HOT! And they cut them thick. They also give you a cup with the hoisin and Sriracha. The broth was nice and hot and very good. I got extra because I don't think you get as much broth Togo S you do when you eat in. This is a fairly small spot but they will seat you when they can and they have "bar "seating. The staff is very nice and will help and answer all questions. If you like Pho give them a try. Their other entrees are good as well.

I like Vietnamese food, but the options are limited where I live- and the options for vegetarians are even MORE limited at most Vietnamese spots. This spot is different- they have a whole page of vegan options on the back of the menu. My vegan pho with tofu was wonderful, and I loved the kick from the chili oil. I also liked adding the pho toppings, and they brought us extra bean sprouts since my husband and I both love them. I didn't have anything to drink, but all of the drinks were super reasonably priced. My husband had a beer. The bar has everything you could want to drink as well as mocktails. The portions are large, and when we got to-go containers, the employees even brought us plastic bags to pack each container in, so nothing leaked on our walk home. That was a nice touch and well appreciated. My husband got a bahn mi for later, and it was also packaged well for a to-go item. Anise is a great choice for pho or other Vietnamese foods in Raleigh, and if I lived nearby, I'd be a regular here and try everything on the vegan menu.

Then lightly fried? Idk why they do this but the meat tasted off and the egg rolls wrapper were very stale. I would t get egg rolls here, doesn't feel homemade Ambiance is super cute and ordering is fast! They have self serve water Our main gripe is that we are from Southern California so it' was really weird to have that type of egg roll served. Also the rare beef is sliced very thick compared to the west coast. This causes it to be a chewier bite than we are used to. Flavors solid but the details are what makes you better than others! We typically go to BEE BANH MI but their con is that they close early NC has many cons

The vermicelli dish featured fresh crisp vegetables and the grilled chicken had a very nice marinade which I had never seen at any other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The staff were very friendly and our order was taken quickly and accurately. Our food also arrive quickly and tasted good. We were seated right away, the server was super fun and friendly. There are for sure regulars that come here. The server knew a lot of people by name, for pick up orders and sitting inside. The Pho is for sure the best thing on the menu. If I would have only had the Pho it would have been a five star experience. I however had the combination and bbq chicken Banh mi Sandwiches and the shrimp spring rolls. The spring roll was crispy on the outside but still frozen on the inside. They remade it and the outside tasted like burnt oil and the inside was still cold. The Banh mi Sandwiches were full of super fresh veggies, I loved that! The downside is the combination one had no Mayo so I had to ask for some. The other downside was that the bbq chicken one had no sauce at all and very little chicken. Again, the veggies were really crunchy and fresh which I loved. Overall I would for sure go back for the Pho, it was delicious. One of the best broths I've had at a Pho spot.

The pork is cooked perfectly and I love a good dish that combines different flavors, textures, and temperatures. They also have kids dishes which is a huge plus! Ordered grilled pork bahn mi and Thai green tea. My honest opinion, I've had better and worse. The meat portion inside the sub is good. However it is lacking in flavor within the meat marinate or the sauce inside the sub. So far the banh mi from pho Thien phat has the best bahn mi in Cary in my opinion. The Thai tea lacked in sugar and very strong tea. I typically order less sugar at boba shops but I did not here just wanting to taste the original flavor of the house, I was not impressed. Service: you order, pay and pick up your food. The lady from the kitchen brought the hot subs out for us which I thought it was very kind. My partner and I both enjoyed a mocktail version of the roselle freezy - it was amazing! Either as a mocktail or a cocktail, you should try this drink. For starters, we had the crispy chicken wings, spring rolls with veggies, and the lettuce wraps. We all enjoyed the chicken wings so much that we got a second order of them. I enjoyed the spring rolls much more than the lettuce wraps as they had more flavor to them. For dinner, we shared an order of the Manda Amphone's Curry and the chicken pad thai. I originally did not expect to be blown away by the pad thai - boy, was I wrong. This is hands down the best pad thai I have ever had. If you love pad thai, you need to try theirs.
