We had to move the left items and they gave me grief for requesting a $100.00 credit/rebate. They also "lost" belongings. The other day I was going to give them another chance, and gained quotes for 2 moves....2 locations. I got a lot of confusing information from their rep Regis, mistakes on the quotes, and then a lot of attitude from him as well. When I asked to speak to Santiago I was told "that was a different time"... meaning that the owner no longer talks to customers...he is too big for that now. Never again. I reached out to Troy a month and half Before moving to be…read moreable to shop around and plan accordingly. We went back and forth talking several times. He asked what furniture and when I told him 1 bedroom set, 1 tv, 2 tv stands (like teacher used in middle school to roll the tv in to class) possible table and maybe another item or 2 as I was trying to move most myself so I didn't pay an arm and a leg. He asked if I had a mirror with my bedroom set, and how many boxes . I told them yes to the mirror but no to the boxes, again, saying anything I could move myself I would. He told me he was just trying to figure out how long it would take as it was based by the hour. He then did the math in his head and said it should take about 2.5 hours let's round it up to three just in case and gave me a quote of $450 equaling to 150 an hour. So if I added more things and it took more time, I would know how much more I would also have to pay. The day came the movers came two hours exactly just to get everything in the truck. 40 min to drive to new spot. Then another 2 hours 20 min. Equaling 5 hours. The two movers were bickering wither each other because all of a sudden one guy said I will jsut bring the items to this spot versus bringing them all the way up which his partner was not understanding this took longer. His "new idea"was not faster he was spending more time hanging out at the truck. The fastest that guy moved was when I finally was looking at the clock going, this is taking way too long for not that many items and started helping him move chairs myself. When they finished he said I'm going to write the bill up and in my head after hearing him say what a big house I thought he might try to charge more but I did not expect this much more. As soon as he said " I took the mirror fee off, don't telll Troy " I knew he was bs me. Stating what a big house then thinking he could charge whatever is beyond rude but it's Troy's company and I had spoken with Troy. I was not going to debate with these two guys who were clearly doing what they knew was wrong. Mind you they chipped the new door frame and knew they did and didn't say a word. I waited to see and nothing. When Troy asked about my mirror he didn't say anything about a mirror fee, he just explained the insurance coverage on certain items. Five hours at $150 equals $750 right? Nope apparently it was a whole new hourly now. The "big house " meant the hourly went up. 5 hours cost $1,083. $633 dollars more than the original $450 and $333 dollars more than the $150 and hour I was quoted. Who would have even carried that much after being quote more then half of what they charged afterwards. I gave them money that was to rent the U-Haul I needed to move the rest of my items which is more then what they moved. I called Troy the following day I hopes to clear things up, get a portion of my money back for being charged incorrectly as well as damaging thw new door frame as when we first talked he gave me his spheal about how long he's been in the buisness and how he did things the right way. Apparently that was just a line kinda like his quote was. Jsut a way to get you to use his company and then up charge whatever they decide that day afterwards of course. If you want a quote don't bother going to them, it's not a quote clearly. Make sure to carry more than half of what he discusses because they could change the hourly rate at anytime making the whole point of talking prior to that pointless. Doubt he'll reach out to give me my $273 extra back let alone care about the damaged door frame. They can't say it wasn't what I was quoted because $195 which was the upgraded price would still not equal the $450 discussed and 3 hours. The math is not matching. Not worth the money spent when you never planned on having to pay that. Funniest part is I told him I read a review about a lady saying she was charged these things afterwards and he said no way could it have been me, I would not change it after the fact I would've have ate the cost cuz I keep my word, he stated she must've been talking about another company. Now I know she wasn't, because the same thing happened to me. Don't believe his lies just like his quotes. Better off getting a couple guys from U-Haul app at least you pay prior so you can't be charged more afterwards. Good luck to those moving, if only everything wasn't a scam now days.

During the move the Foreman informed our daughter that he broke a leg off our dining room buffet and he would order a new leg. A month or two had passed and we called Mr Falardeau and he assured us that he would get the part and bring it up himself and fix it. We returned in April and called and called and called left messages and on my last call my message was to please refund $350. Which was half the price for what I paid for it. All I can say is that he is not a man of his word.

Also, they are careful! I packed a LOT of glass and fragile items, and have been unpacking for two days and not a single thing has been broken or damaged in any way. Please note that I also posted this review on Google as well. I've moved many times in my life but always with my own car, a friend, a rental moving truck, or the U-haul U-box. This year I decided to hire a moving company to get my belongings from Massachusetts to the Midwest. But I was skeptical as a first-time full service mover (minus the packing, which I did myself). I read about the difference between brokers and movers, I read about the many scams, and I checked out each company I wanted to work with on the FMCSA website to see pertinent details. I didn't want a low quote that would change after they already loaded my stuff. I got quotes from about seven different companies, including Mayflower, U-haul U-box, PODS, OM Van Lines, Zippy Shell, Zip Moving and Storage, and more local movers such as RELOQ. I found RELOQ through Yelp's project option, where you enter your needs and Yelp sends the details to a few companies to provide you with quotes. I declined Daniel's quote at first because although the price was fair, it was out of my price range. Daniel worked with me on the cost to better match my budget and provided some of the best customer service I've received to date across any industry. Daniel and two additional team members arrived on time on a Thursday afternoon. By Saturday morning, I had my stuff again. Other services did not have a guaranteed drop off date like RELOQ did, but instead had a 7-14 day window which left me really anxious for obvious reasons. So I'm quite glad I trusted Daniel. They arrived earlier than the stated time for both pickup and dropoff. For pickup, he and his team carefully disassembled my bed, thoughtfully wrapped my furniture, and loaded my two bedroom/one bathroom apartment into their truck all within about an hour. Upon dropoff, they finished the unloading and assembly in two hours. The time differential is due largely to the environment in both locations. I moved from a first floor apartment in a more suburban area to a high rise in a more downtown area. It was not just exiting my front door and going right to the truck, here they had to navigate a loading dock, a freight elevator, and another elevator up multiple floors in a very busy building. They were also delayed by miscommunication from my building management. Even so, they got it all done in two hours and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
