CMS, Is it possible to come to the office there and order magnets so I don't pay to ship? I live about 5 miles from you. Or better order over the phone and then pick up? I need them quick.

I'm posting this just as a forewarning that this business no longer works on audio equipment…read more Despite being listed as a Yamaha Authorized Service Center. We had lightning hit our property which took out a bunch of electronics including our Yamaha RX-V 683 receiver. Web search indicated these guys as a service center and the reviews were positive. So I loaded up and headed that way as I had another errand in the same neighborhood. Lugged the unit in, set it on the counter where the man (owner) said "What you got there?". "My dead Yamaha AV receiver.". "We don't work on audio anymore.". Hmm. Geez. Most of their reviews are for audio stuff. He said they really only work on TVs now. Posted as a PSA. Call before you haul. And they need to get their listing on Yamaha's Service Centers page removed.

These folks are fair and honest. If your tv can be repaired, they can do it at a reasonable price…read more All the costs and risks are explained up front. If it can't be repaired, or it's simply not worth it, they will let you know. I had Josh (I think that was his name) replace the lcd array on my 72 inch Sony TV. It cost me $500. Replacement of that TV would have been over $2000. As an added bonus, he reinstalled my sound bar and subwoofer in the way that it should have been installed from the beginning and the sound is 100 times better. I cannot recommend this business in any stronger terms. Check with them before you throw away a TV that can be saved.

Micro Center 07-28-26…read more My grandson is building him a new gaming computer. We chose to get the parts from Micro Center in Dallas, TX. They have everything you need and could want for your computing needs. It's overwhelming with so many choices to chose from. We walked around trying to find the computer case. Lots and lots of cases. That's when we met Tim. He was totally awesome and jumped in and took care of all our needs. My grandson had a list a friend made for him of what we needed. He took and made a shopping list for us. Then he asked if we wanted help getting all the parts. We said Yes! He was great, he took our buggy and took off and got everything on our list. I would say above and beyond what we expected. He had everything at the checkout counter for us. It was a great experience. I highly recommend Micro Center for all your Computer needs. Ask for Tim Hill and he will take care of your computer needs.

On my last visit, I was waiting about 10 minutes for an item to be brought up from the back. While I was waiting, I asked another employee about a different product, and he told me he didn't want to "jump on the other guy's commission." As a customer, that shouldn't be my problem. I also asked if a specific DJI controller worked with a drone. The employee immediately said yes because both products had "FPV" in the name. That's not how DJI compatibility works. There are multiple FPV drones and controllers, so that alone doesn't tell you anything. At checkout, I declined the extended warranty. Cashier Ryan C. gave me the sales pitch, I declined again, he kept going, ended with, "It's only $25," then just stood there staring at me until I said no a third time before finishing the transaction. This isn't a one-time experience. It's like this every time I shop here. The only reason I come back is because it's the only place you can buy these products in person.
