We went there and spent over $23,000 on items we got a printer he press and another printer for hats and stuff or did that direct garment printer from Epson had everything ordered with the heat press everything materials he put in there that they would come out install assemble delivery Everything is in the cost and we had it in writing. Then he came back and told us that they don't do install. All they do is just deliver and then they come there and set it up for us. We have to bring it in from the street that's on pallets in to our home. I told him that's not acceptable that we have in writing plus he told us in person and in an email and an in writing on the paper and then they decided to just give us back our money and cancel the whole order and then we didn't get the discount for the $4000 on the printer because they screwed around and want to play games with us. I don't recommend this company sales person. Don't know what he's doing the manager of the company Was somewhat polite, but did not wanna acknowledge anything that was in writing that we had and refuse to give us a services so that instead they give us back all of our money. I own a photo booth rental company in Anchorage, Alaska and when it came time to order more printing supplies Imaging Spectrum was where my photo booth supplier recommended. I called them up and their customer service was great. They offer free shipping on their website, but not to Alaska. I asked if they would be willing to cover the amount that the free shipping would have cost them to another state and I would pay the difference. To my surprise, the manager agreed without hesitation. Will definitely be using Imaging Spectrum for all my photo booth supply needs! read more

I was a customer for a few years with this company, but after I was sold a defective product, they gave me the run around trying to get an RMA on it from the manufacturer. I was a very tedious process and in the end, this company was unwilling to offer a credit for a defective product, nor was the manufacturer. I will not be doing business with them anymore, because this is not how a customer should be treated. Its a shame because I did have good experiences with them in the past, but their post-sales support is very, very bad, especially given the amount of money spent on their products. Can't say enough good things about the people running this business. Their website was a huge resource in looking into a dye-sub printer for my small photo booth business based in Los Angeles. After a few days of looking I took the plunge and processed the order online for a DNP DS40. Shortly after placing the order, DNP released a new printer heavily marketed by Imaging Spectrum. Out of the park, yep... that's where Imaging Spectrum knocked my requests. I thank the Yelp community for helping me track them down. My local company does not carry the brand of large format plotter our company wanted to order. I looked up the list of Texas Sales Reps from the Epson website and was given a dozen or so choices. I looked at those on Yelp and found a couple that I was interested in. Phoned and immediately I talked to a representative with Imaging Spectrum that was amazingly friendly, very knowledgeable, and did not mind my constant details questions. After a few days of emails back and forth with them, and partners from our company, we were able to place an order to get everything we needed for the large format plotter. I was very pleased with the help we received from Christina and will not hesitate to order from them again; being 350+ miles away did not complicate the process at all and the small $78 fee to deliver everything on a truck with a lift gate was a drop in the bucket of the total order and worth every penny. read more

I found Imaging Spectrum by accident and they have been the best accident for my business. They are fast shippers (I'm in CA) and when you have any issue, they are always very quick to resolve it. They support the printer you buy from them and can usually tell you how to fix any problems or send you what you need so you don't have to send the printer back to the manufacturer. I have requested a number of different things from them over the past year and EVERY TIME they have performed above and beyond what you would expect. I will be a repeat customer for sure. While searching for a dye sub printer for my photo booth, I found Imaging Spectrum through Google. After reading their blog, visiting their social sites, and watching their videos I didn't hesitate to order over $1000 of equipment from them. I did have a question before my order and my email was responded to within a business day. I also love that they have YouTube videos reviewing and helping you with select products. It was helpful in my decision to go with a certain printer. Their blog was also helpful in letting me know about new firmware and drivers my printer needed. Their website was also great in listing all the specs and info that made comparing two printers I wanted easy. The day after my order, I got a call from one of their people to confirm my order and making sure I'd be home to receive my package. My order did ship the same day as stated on their website. I received it 3 days later (Pennsylvania). Several days after that, I got a call from one of them again thanking me for my order and making sure everything was good with it. Though I did get a vibe they wanted to throw me a sales pitch regarding some software that I already have. My biggest disappointment is none of them drew me a dinosaur like I asked in the "customer comments." But I suppose I can let that slide. Then again, I probably shouldn't make silly comments while spending over a grand :) Overall, my experience had been great and I do plan on shopping with them in the future to buy my printing supplies. read more

If you order and receive the correct product, Imaging Spectrum is a great company. My company annually places an order...the third year, we got a product we could not use. For a PhotoBooth we got strips that were perforated. Imaging Spectrum offered a reduced restocking fee after claiming the order mistake was our fault...that was nice. Before sending the product back, I opened each box carefully using a sharp edge to make sure that all of the products were actually wrong and then sealed them back. Again, I did not actually open and remove the security seals on the actual product, I just opened the boxes. After almost two weeks went by and no response, I contacted Imaging Spectrum and they informed me that the product was "opened" and they could not resell it so would not assist us. They emailed me pictures of the "open" boxes after they opened them. I told them to keep the product and not send it back to us. Within hours they sent a tracking number to us. I have left messages with them and no one has returned my phone call nor offered to sell us the product that we specifically notified them that we needed. read more

please allow me to cut to the chase. I am enjoying over 52 years as a working pro photographer.. I have extensive experience with most vendors from the 60s forward. the bottom line: Imaging Spectrum is among the better suppliers on this planet. When a guy named Eric was much younger, I traveled to their initial location in Dallas to purchase an Imacon film scanner which they had in stock. Eric suggested that I might wait a bit on that purchase and consider Nikon's 8000 that was due out within the next several weeks. I still use that 8000. Do I agree with everything they say, no. I occasionally question their suggestions. To date (and I have no idea how long I have been doing business with their team), they have never let me down... always fair, always reasonable. Tech support is always polite and professional. I noticed one reviewer was more than disappointed with a purchase. . . it happens. The few times that I have questioned a product, I was treated fairly. I am not a fun guy to be around when I think someone is abusing my business. I purchased the Sony UPDR-200 printer from Imaging Spectrum earlier this year. Unfortunately, the product had a manufacturer defect and I was really worried that I might have a hard time working out the issue with Sony since I had purchased the printer online. To my surprise, Russel (from their Tech Support) was there to help me with the issue from the very start. I received a new printer in no time and was up and running without a hitch. Service - great - only because the sales guy seems really nice. Support - pretty terrible. You call for help and they are short and uninformative. Get annoyed at every question and make you feel belittled. Products - the most archaic cumbersome and horrible printers you could buy. Our Brava printer stopped working after a few uses and they asked us to watch a video that basically shows how to disassemble the entire printer with tiny screws in corners and tight spots so you can see if a piece of paper is stuck in a roller. Then putting it back together is practically impossible as screws keep falling in between things and their locations are not made to work with easily. It is incredible that this company can't sell a modern product or that Darkroom can't make their product to work with any printer. I hate this printer and in turn this company for selling it and not telling me in advance the many problems I would encounter. read more

I found Imaaging Spectrum on Goggle while I was looking for a 8x10 sony printer. I had received quotes over $1500 and was surprised that they had a refurbuished printer for less then half the price. I was a little hestiate and spectical but decided to buy it since it had a 90 day guarantee. During the purchasing process I also notice that the shipping was free. I started thinking this is too good to be true but I ordered an DR80 and the ink and received the package within a couple of days. I was excited when I received the package and opened it immediately and plugged it in and attempted to printer photos but I keep getting a photo error so after a while of trying to reinstall the printer and attempting to print I was still unable to get it to printer. I went to bed disappointed. I called first thing in the morning and got someone immediately on the phone (no answering service or prompts) a live person. I explained my problem and immediately was told that the drivers were not installed properly. I was instructed to let them log into my printer and they installed the printer drivers. After installing the paper properly I was able to print my first 8x10 photo which was beautifully printed in less than a minute. read more

Buyer beware ! They've changed their business structure and products are now shipped out of a wholesaler located in Chicago. Attempt to verify shipping data and you're met with mass confusion ... they can't see the wholesalers shipping data. To make matters worse, if you need to return the product, the next hurdle with Imaging Spectrum is now product it can't be returned to them because it was shipped from a third party. I would give no stars to Imaging Spectrum, however, that was not a Yelp Review Option. We ordered a color laser printer and 2 boxes of supplies, almost $1400.00 altogether. When it arrived, one of the supply packages had been opened and was damaged. After insisting that the package was sealed on their end when it left (How could he know? Does he personally check each departing package?) blaming UPS, and then blaming me for the problem, Ron the shipping supervisor offered to let me order more supplies at $109.00 plus shipping. He also offered to send me a UPS call ticket next Monday, as they are not working again until then. As I explained to Ron, I have 600 kids and parents appearing at our Santa House on Saturday and a call ticket arriving the following Monday does not help. I have asked them to close out our account and we will source locally from now on. read more
