Large parking lot. To enter you take a few steps down. The glass door opens into a gorgeous space. Beautiful decor. Indoor and outdoor seating. The desserts look delicious. Most of present customers were sitting outside and everyone is smoking hookah. There's no alcohol and a no smoking policy (except for hookah). Half of the requested items on the menu were not available. I ended up with a glass of juice that was $7!!! Expensive and staff nowhere to be found half of the time. When asked the person taking care of our hookah to find our waitress for the check, he looked like he didn't even speak English and didn't respond. Plus: the bathroom is so pretty. If you stop by here, just do it for a stylish pee. But pick a stall with a working toilet...

It was really first and bad experience here!

Ask the Community - Cloud Lounge

I remember seeing that Cloud does Afternoon Tea Parties. Just wanted to confirm if this is still a thing or maybe I am thinking of another Lounge?

How I can talk with the manger?

You can ask one of the employees to speak to a manager and they will take you to the office.

Can you bring your own alcohol? They did that on Real Housewives of Potomac...they even had their own cigars!

Hi, thank you for showing interest in the Cloud Lounge. Unfortunately we do not serve nor allow consumption of alcohol and outside food during regular business hours. However, when Cloud Lounge is booked for private events and parties, (available… Read more

The lounge is on the smaller side, which actually worked well for the event and gave it an intimate vibe. The owner was also very nice and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The menu is extremely limited, and you pretty much have to piece together a meal from a few items. I ordered the jollof rice and six-piece chicken wings. The wings were overpriced, overcooked, and had no flavor at all. The only options were sauces on the side (honey, ranch, or blue cheese), and when I specifically asked for honey drizzled on top with blue cheese on the side, that request wasn't followed. Even more frustrating, our server never came back to check on us or make sure everything was okay. The jollof rice was honestly the worst part. Instead of that rich, smoky flavor you'd expect, it tasted burnt with a harsh charcoal aftertaste. I've had jollof rice many times before, and this was nowhere close. I ended up sending it back. Because I was hungry, I forced myself to eat the wings, even though they were dry and lacked flavor. Overall, Myste Lounge has a nice look and potential, but the food and service really need improvement. A revamped menu and better attention to guests would make a huge difference.

Service was great considering the place is small, it's hard to miss customers. It's a small hookah lounge in downtown Laurel, so don't expect a ton of space, but it's still a nice little spot to unwind after a long day or make a chill after-dinner stop. Hookah was smooth and the atmosphere was laid back. They do sell food, but we didn't try it this time. My only downside is the drink menu, it's mostly wine and champagne but overall it's a place I could see myself frequenting.

This is such a perfect spot for either a date night or a fun night out with friends. The speakeasy vibe, the chic atmosphere, and the music (a smooth, chill house mix) all come together so effortlessly. Plus, being open until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays is a huge bonus. Definitely make a reservation ahead of time - this place stays busy for a reason. From my previous visit, I remember having a ravioli dish, what I believe was a braised beef, and their sliders with duck fat fries - all of which were incredible and clearly memorable since I was thinking about them for months. The sliders paired with those fries were honestly a standout. This time around, we had to get the duck fat fries again, and they were just as phenomenal as I remembered. The cheesesteak oysters were easily a 10/10 - fresh, meaty, and honestly surprising coming from someone who used to not even like oysters. We also tried the grilled octopus, which was well-seasoned (as expected, slightly chewy), and the fried calamari, which was light, not heavy at all, and paired perfectly with the sauces. The tuna tartare was another standout - super fresh, soft, and practically melted in your mouth. For drinks, we went all in. The Dirty Diamond martini with blue cheese olives was great, though if you like your martinis extra filthy, I'd recommend specifying that. The Hemingway Special had a nice subtle sour kick, and the vanilla mint espresso martini was strong (you can definitely taste the alcohol) but still smooth and frothy. The Mary Pickford with Malibu was surprisingly delicious - almost like a mocktail. The Paloma was solid, and the Code Red cocktail gave me slight cosmopolitan vibes. But the real star was the dulce de leche espresso martini--absolutely unforgettable. What really ties everything together here is the service. The staff - from the hosts to the servers - are attentive, welcoming, and genuinely elevate the experience. Overall, Code Red is one of those places you keep coming back to. If you're looking for a stylish speakeasy atmosphere with great food, drinks, and energy, this is it.

For starters, it's pretty quiet in the late afternoons, which is nice if you're just popping in for a quick drink after a long day. They light a fire at 5pm daily, so if you want to relax and stare contemplatively into the flames, just grab a high-backed chair and a highball glass, and slip into a daze. On Thursdays, there's a free wine hour from 5.30-6.30, which brings in a larger crowd that generally stays substantially later. What sets this bar apart is the quality and variety of their cocktails. Be warned, they come on strong, so if you're going to try to make it through the whole list (which I did), you should bring a friend or two to share them (which I didn't). Highlights include, in my preferential order: Penicillin+ This is A Lounge's take on an old classic, and the first drink I ordered. It's listed as being Yamazaki 12-year, Ginger, Honey, Lemon, and Ardbeg, this cocktail instead included Habiki as the base, with a Laphroaig float (welcome substitutions, for the record). The honey mellowed out the smokiness of the Laphroaig beautifully, and, overall, this was a well-balanced cocktail with several layers of complexity and flavor. Next up was a Blood & Sand, the concoction from the eponymous 1922 bullfighter film, according to the lovely Melani, who was so artfully mixing drinks behind the bar. This one's also scotch-based, with a dash of Aperol and a healthy splash of Dolin vermouth - quite tasty. I also tried the Honeycomb, which combines tequila, honey, Pernod, and lemon for a refreshing take on a margarita, less the salted rim. Lastly, there was the Yoshinori Red 100, an exclusive in-house offering celebrating the 100-year anniversary of the Cherry Blossom Festival. I had stopped writing down ingredients by this point, so you'll just have to go and try one for yourself. Sit for a while, sip for a while, and be glad you stopped in.
