This salon never fails me. The nail techs are talented and patient, so I'm happy to walk in and have a set done with anyone! You will be greeted with a smile, given a true wait time and offered tasty beverages.

The snack and refreshments trolly in the lower right corner!

My husband had his manicure done here while I waited (just had mine done right before our trip into Houston so didn't need one). I was waiting and had the pleasant time talking with Michelle, who I believe to be the manager. His manicure was done by Quyen and is nicely filed and polished. All the technicians there are very nice, lovely place with chandeliers. If a place has chandeliers, they must know how to treat clients and they do. For those who come in, they have a trolly of cold water, sodas, and goodies. This time we had a selection of pretzels or fruit snacks. Great for kids who are waiting for their mamas to be beautified. The place was nice and open, not loud or chuckling like other salons. The other thing I found to be quite unique is they have separate bathrooms for males and females. So calling all males, it's ok to get your nails done. As my husband said, they had the game on and you have your own separate bathrooms! lol I think one of the best thing was that they opened on a Sunday while all of their neighboring salons were closed.

Their customer service is HORRIBLE!!! they will rush to do your nails and not take the time to do what your service provides. I had my Pedi and manicure with shellac & paid around 40+ dollars (this includes the discount) I'm usually not picky but I was literally irritated with this experience, 1st. The lady the was doing my manicure was to busy running her mouth and complaining about me been on the phone after she asked me if I knew which color I wanted and I clearly said NO... I don't need to speak their language to understand what she was telling the lady that was doing my Pedi. YOUR FACE SAYS IT ALL!!! I understand that I was speaking but my hands were nowhere near my phone. 2nd. My nail polish didn't look even they needed another coat and I knew they were going to start lifting fast my service included a mini massage that I never got. Rubbing oil on my hands or legs is not a massage, I personally hate it because while I drive home I can feel my arms burning since the sun hits directly on my arm. After paying I ask the receptionist for change on a $10 bill since I was going to tip the person who did my Pedi. when the cashier ask the lady that did my manicure for change she took my money and i kindly ask for change back and left only five $5.00 for the lady that did my Pedicure I knew she was upset since the receptionist said something and laugh and she started speaking fast. But ladies and gentlemen giving tips its a customer choice specially for services like this. Keep in mind that in order for you to get a good tip you need to be kind and polite & not rush your work when your clients work her/his ass off to do their nails. I have done lashes for a living and never even once rush my work because I wanted all my clients to come back and not have a bad experience. Nails we're done on 3/04/20 and lifted on 3/06/2020

Long time customer and fan of Cloud 9 Nails & Spa! The staff is always professional and polite, making the time and money spent worth it. All the staff can deliver an on point pedicure that lasts and is enjoyable. For the absolute best manicure around wait for Ti as her attention to detail will leave you feeling giddy over just how on point your hands look after your time with her. I came in 6:30 on a Saturday night with this crazy idea and Ti was able to make my nails look amazing, even challenging me to find another fun color combination for next month! Cloud 9 Nail & Spa is always my first choice for a "treat yo self" trip and it should be yours too

First time coming here and this place has exceeded my expectations! So so friendly, following covid regulations, and very organized here, I love the setting. Wendy is so talented, and precise. She listened to exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond. They work really hard so make sure you guys tip for the great experience and bad bihh nails

Had seriously such a great experience here. I was a walk in for a manicure and pedicure. I didn't have to wait at all (granted, it was in the morning on a Thursday). Quyen did my pedicure, and was very thorough with it. She even made sure to ask if I had any hangnails I needed taken care of. Lee did my manicure, and she is amazing! She did an ombre powder with a jewel accent. She took her time and made my nails beautiful! I will definitely be going back!

I've lived in this area for a while and I haven't found an ideal nail spa so when I saw the "free pedicure" sign I decided to take a chance. It's actually buy one get a free pedicure which is no big deal. The positives: the staff was nice and attentive.she asked about the water temperature and spent quiet a bit of time on the pedicure. My manicure was flawless as well. Areas for improvement: the decor is a bit plain and sterile. I love the ornate chandeliers but the walls are beige and there isn't really anything else to give it a spa feel. Hot stone massage was blah... The massage chair stopped working mid way through my service and no one apologized even though I pointed it out to my technician and the manager. I also noticed water pooling around my chair so maybe it was an electrical problem. They game over to mop up the water during my pedicure for which I am glad so I wouldn't slip and fall but the chemicals they used were very strong and took away from the relaxing moment I hoped for. I like that they offer bottled water too. I would consider coming back but not much to rave about...

Well needed pedi

Nice ppl I enjoy going there! Tina does my nails.. one day after work I called the wrong place and made a appt with them, but really meant to make it at cloud nails,we laughed and they still took me right in even though I called someone else by mistake Lol

Moniqua M.

I came in the get a pedi and refill on my nails . They rushed my pedicure and refill. I had lumps all in my polish and my toes were uneven. So i came back the next day and the young lady at the front desk told me that i would have to wait for the lady who painted my toes to do them over or i would have to pay someone else 10 dollars. They were so unprofessional. If you want someone to take their time don't come to this place.

Shellac color 456. Sparkly red just in time for the holidays.

Is it okay to have my daughter with me? My old salon allowed it, she's well behaved but I know some salons don't allow children

They did ask me if I wanted to leave a tip, which I always do, but stop asking us. It's uncomfortable and unnecessary. But overall, it was a good experience. She asked me numerous questions about what style I wanted and didn't start until I finished. What she created was a photograph of everything I described and I received THE BEST HAIRCUT OF MY LIFE!!!!! Slight layers and a cut to my collarbone took me 15 minutes to dry and style and my hair looked PERFECT. I recommend Adrianna to anyone who books a haircut as she is a treasure!!!! I did go back and it's worse. I literally have layers to my ears and my hair was mid back. It's awful and I hate it. He was very "oh well". I showed him several pictures and he was like "got it". Today was my 4th time at this salon. I did not call before I came because from past experience…read morecalling in advance is not productive & does not save time or eliminate uncomfortable situations or discussions. When I walked in the salon thankfully Zora, the stylist recognized me from last week. And immediately said "keratin?" Yes please! She asked if I could wait about 15 minutes. I said of course & asked to use the restroom while I was waiting. When I went to the back where the bathroom is, it smelled really good. Panang curry maybe? So when I came back there was a different stylist - she had obviously been told I wanted keratin. I said I wanted to know the price before they started the treatment. She quoted me $200, then Zara comes back & says $250- I'm like. We had this conversation last week & I told you $250 was more than I was willing to spend. You told me to come back this week before 3pm & you said you would work with me on the price. Then she says, Mon-Wed are our least busy days but today is Thursday. Thursdays,- Saturdays are our busiest days & it's harder to mark the prices down on these days. Totally understandable. I can respect that. We have 2 vacation rentals on Airbnb & the price for weekends is more than during the week days. I can assume that the same is true in this industry. What I don't & can't respect is that when I call the salon the person taking the calls & making the appointments is not in the salon & does not communicate your appointment with the salon. They have two locations so I can only imagine the issues this has caused for previous clients. ------//---------------- Hit pause for about 20 minutes ---------//----------------- So I'm sitting in the chair, a little mad, with keratin all over my scalp & hair, it's literally dripping off my head. Then I asked myself, What would improve this situation? Food! I was definitely Hangry. I decided to put on my big girl panties & starting trying to match their kindness. When they burned my scalp again I nicely told them the hair dryer &!flat iron was too hot, too close to my scalp, and it burned. They were super quick to apologize, correct & kept asking if I was okay/comfortable. So unfortunately some of the blame for my past negative experiences was mine. Which is weird because I'm big on communication and honesty but I wasn't putting out the energy i wanted to receive. Funny how a Coke & some food can be such a game changer! Remember the old Coca Cola advertisement "A Coke & a smile"? So finally I just asked about the Owner because truly that's one of my biggest hurdles with this business. Zara explained that the Owner works from home so she can take care of bookings for both salons and her 3 kiddos at home but that she does let the salon know when a client is coming in. The feminist in me wanted to crawl under the chair! Always put yourself in the other person's shoes before judging!! When my hair was done it looked great! They knew they did great because they started taking pictures of my hair. And my hair is really hard to do! So kudos all the way around. I just needed to cowgirl up & realize the first visit with the Groupon price was a special deal I got. Kind of like a first date. I can't seem to get the magic back of being so happy about the price & quality of work that I got on my first visit, that fluttery feeling for the same price again. I need to either start doing my own hair again or accept that I have a lot of hair & it costs more to have mine done than other people but Zara & the other stylist worked hard on my hair & it turned out really pretty. I find we either have time or money but very rarely do we have both. In this situation I think the time i will save doing my hair for the next few months while my keratin keeps was worth the increase in cost. I'm not here to bad mouth businesses. In fact I try to find the good whenever I can. Hence the lack of negative reviews from me. If I don't have anything nice to say I try not to say anything at all. If the shop or business corrects the mistakes, I remove the negative review. I won't be doing that this time because I think the backstory might help fellow Yelpers decide if they want to try this salon or not.

unfortunately, there's no zero star. I scheduled an appointment at Queens Salon and Spa in Houston…read morefor a haircut and blowout. I confirmed the price in advance and arrived on time for my appointment. When I showed up, I was told, "We don't do Black people hair." This experience was deeply hurtful and unprofessional. If a salon does not provide services for certain hair types, that should be communicated clearly before booking an appointment. No one should take time out of their day, confirm pricing, and show up in good faith only to be turned away because of race. I am sharing this so others are aware and can make informed decisions before booking.
