This place is one of the worst cuts I've gotten in my life I've been crying for 2 days straight I told lady to not cut the side but fade my hair but she cut my whole head and only left the top super short I do not recommend she gives the opposite of what the hell you want I hope this place burns down! I was driving by last week on my way to a sales call in the area. I needed a hair cut badly. When I saw this place, I thought 'why not'? I was surprised by the welcome I received. Not only did all of the staff greet me but I felt like Nikki actually listened to me when I told her what I wanted in a haircut. She did a great job and the price was right, I was expecting more, actually. One of my pet peeves with salons is when they finish cutting your hair they always seem to have to ask how I want it combed. Didn't you look at me when I sat down?? Nikki never asked and I left with the exact style I came with. Great place. read more

Well... no more explanation but I won't refer this salon...especially if you are a first timer. Of course since it's a business they will offer you that this blahs blahs will look you goood...blahs blah...to make it short...it doesn't meet my expectation and shocked when they told me how much should I pay....I REGRET coming to this place. I used to go to Josephine's day spa since I have very sensitive scalp and is allergic to most of the hair coloring agent. Aveda product suits me. However, it was hard to get an appointment there so I ventured out and found Cindy. I have been to Cindy for close to a year now. She understands my concern and told me I wouldn't have problem with her coloring agent. And she was right. She is a lot more thorough than the hairdressers at Josephine. Also the hair washing and the massage was just heavenly. All the ladies there are so sweet and greet all the guests even if they are not their clients. O'Petite is not fancy nor modern but definitely has great energy and great service. read more

This place is a great neighborhood gem ladies and gents! I called Saturday morning for a wash and curl due to my hair lady cancelling on me and Nikki (owner) was more than happy to accommodate! I walked in and Cindy took me right over to wash my hair and both her and Nikki tag-teamed to get me dry. She was done within 45 mins and my hair looked FAB!!! The salon was clean and organized! This is a hidden gem. I have been going here for about 10 years and love it! I get my hair cut, styled, hi-and-low lights. My boyfriend gets his hair cut here too! Nikki, Cindy and Susan are all nice, kind, sweet and they really listen. Or ask them for their opinion and they will tell you the truth. Their prices are reasonable and their attitudes are great! You would never know it from the outside but this place is awesome! My husband and I always have a very hard time finding a good stylist because he has incredibly curly hair and mine is an odd mix of textures. The lady's there actually listen to you when you tell them what you want and have extensive knowledge on how to work with many different hair types. We both got the best haircut in years. Living in the galleria it was a bit out of the way but with excellent service and a price that cant be beat it was well worth it. Another plus is that they don't sell products! So no pushy after sales for products you don't need, however if you happen to like a product they used they can order it for you. read more

I paid $40 for a haircut, which, although on the pricier end, was well worth it. I believe my hairdresser's name was Theresa and she was incredibly attentive in checking in with me throughout the appointment to ensure that she was cutting layers and trimming my bangs just as I wanted them. Webt to opetite abt 2 weeks ago... really not sure what exactly i wanted, just a new style and more manageable cut. I was greeted by cindy at around 10am... just dropped in and she was able to take me... well.. the cut and style came out great! I had (sort of) an idea of the color i wanted and cindy got it. Cindy is wonderful and phenomenally great at straightening hair!!! I didn't think she could get my curly hair straight and she did!!!! And she was quicker than most!!! Her hands are amazing and she gives a great head massage while washing your hair. Never too too crowded and she always squeezes you in when you need a quick appointment.
