Just finished another great breakfast here at 'Clockers'! We are residents of Branson, and come often to this 'around the corner' venue in Old Downtown Branson. Their food is home style cooking, and we give a "10"rating with their Sausage Gravy and Biscuits! Our Son says this item is the best he's ever eaten...and he is quite the expert with Sausage Gravy! Fantastic Local Gem My family and I were in town for a week-long vacation, and we enjoy experiencing local eateries. This place did not disappoint. My daughter, who is a choosey eater, even loved it. She had French toast, my wife had a pork tenderloin smothered in sausage gravy, my son had steak and eggs, and I had their Eggs Benedict. Everything was amazing...except their biscuits. The consensus at our table was the biscuits were both undercooked and bitter. Too much baking soda maybe? Considering the quality of the rest of the food, I'm comfortable calling this a fluke. The wait was only 15 minutes on a Sunday morning at 9:30, and after we were seated we were greeted quickly by a very friendly server named Sunnie B. She took very good care of us throughout our experience. This is a medium sized dinner with a classic feel, friendly staff, and amazing food. If I lived here I would be a regular. It's worth making it a priority during your time in the Branson area. I recommend it highly. read more

We arrived on Sunday morning around 9:30. It was extremely busy and seemed disorganized because there was no hostess managing a waiting list. Instead it was diners huddled in the lobby and outside trying to keep track of who's next in line and just waiting and looking for an empty table to open up. I was surprised that there wasn't a simple bfast of eggs, bacon, toast as an option. Instead you had to order it a la carte. I ended up ordering the BLT which was fine but the kettle chips that it was served with were wayyy too done. My husband ordered the steak and eggs. The steak had no flavor. He ended up slathering it in A1 steak sauce. The place is pretty small and crowded with tables to pack people in. It ended up being quite noisy. read more

Excellent breakfast. Wait staff remembered every detail of our order. Picky about eggs and they were exactly how I ordered them. Nothing much to look at inside, but was clean, more spacious than the other two restaurants across the street, and better food. One hour after we ordered and we are still waiting for our food. Most of the staff is standing around as the cooks are obviously not able to keep up. Unless you have an entire day to wait for food, you're better served going elsewhere. read more

Stopped in for late breakfast before leaving Branson. It was busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. Atmosphere is that of a small town cafe. Servers are al friendly and joking with other staff and customers. Kids ordered pancakes. Adults ordered omelets, hash browns and one order biscuits and gravy. Also ordered fried green tomatoes for an appetizers. The wait for the food was not bad at all. Was difficult to get refills on drinks though. Kids enjoyed the pancakes. Omelet was nothing special. Very good food, breakfast served all the time, fancy hamburgers and sandwiches, few entrees. Friends had Reuben's that were very good they said. I had a bowl of chili with crackers which was very good and filling since we were having a buffet later. The hostess was rude, we had a group, the place was busy so we went straight to a table and got seats, she told us off. Good experience overall. The Clocker's Breakfast Plate was delicious, the country ham was great. Cinnamon roll was not worth the hype, that's the only thing I would not recommend getting. First bad experience I've ever had here. Been coming here for years. Girl was really spacey and in far too big a hurry. She threw the menus down on a table and I guess expected us to assume she wanted us to sit there. Then she brought me buttered toast instead of dry then was going to replacement with white instead of wheat. The she heated my blackberry cobbler without asking. (I didn't want it heated). Have eaten here a few times and like it. The food is good with large portions. We've had good service at both visits. The only reason I am giving it a 4 is that they only offer pork options for breakfast. I don't eat pork and wish they offered turkey bacon or turkey sausage. This is my only complaint which shows the food is great and service is great. Also, if you order a double order of the hash browns, you will have leftovers. I used to like this place. We would come here every morning while we were in town. This time changed that. We came in and sat down in a booth. A waitress came by, gave us menus, took our drink order, and told us she would be right back. She quickly brought my orange juice. We were ready to order, but she quickly left again. She kept going to tables - who we got the vibe were regulars - even when they came in after us. After about 15-20 minutes of not seeing her again we left (and left money on the table for the OJ). The place was packed and there were two waitresses - ours seemed to be the only one trying, but not paying any attention to non-regulars. Despite the continual walk in patrons, she remained attentive and sprinted back and forth between tables and kitchen to do her best. Went to Clocker's this morning before returning home from Branson. was looking forward to eating there. Had to wait awhile for a table, no problem. our group of 5 sat down. took a little while for our waitress to come. We placed our order at 10:00. People that came in after us, got their food and the tables were turned over again and we still had no food. At 10:43 we got our waitress to go check on our food. she comes back and said she put a 911 on it. we talked and said if we hadn't received our food in 10 minutes, we would leave. it took 7 minutes and it arrived. my entire plate was cold, I do not eat cold eggs or hash browns so I ate my ham that was somewhat warm. everyone else's food was Luke warm, certainly not just taken off the grill. so we wasted $37.50 per couple for a horrible experience. read more

Definitely not the best way to start your morning. It's honestly just average food. The chocolate milk was almost white milk. I had country fried steak, eggs, potatoes & toast. The eggs Benedict is perfect. Better than higher-end fancy places. I am floored by some of the reviews. Yes you might wait a while. Yes you might sit at a table that hasn't been bused yet. Yes the waitress might grab your card and hood it for a minute while she helps 5 other tables. Yes you might share a table with people you don't know. But what you get in return is the best damn homemade breakfast you have ever had since your grandma passed away.
