In spite of their short staffing, my Husby and I were greeted and seated shortly. Service to get drinks and orders was hectic and we patiently waited for a good 15 minutes. However, our food came in quickly soon as our orders were taken. We got scrumptious fried green tomato appetizer with sweet chili sauce and ranch on the side. Husby was delighted by the sweet ripened blueberries with whipped cream on his hefty stack of pancakes with eggs and bacon on the side. I received a delicious and tender prime rib sandwich with warm au jus and sweet potato fries on the side. Refills of coffee and ice water came frequently along with request for additional cream. The clockers cafe employees served like clockwork even though they had need for a cook and a server. Best of all, they served us with a smile. Highly recommend this breakfast and brunch spot. My wife really wanted to try Clockers. We come down often enough that trying new places is good for us. I ordered CINNAMON SWIRL SWEETNESS & THE HAYSTACK my wife ordered a la carte HASHBROWNS with all the fixings. The Cinnamon Swirl was good 4/5 The Haystack was 2.5/5 - the flavor came from the sausage, not the other ingredients. The staff was nice, the restrooms were clean and it was a seat your itself location. It does give you a hometown feel, If you like good french toast and comfort try them out. read more

Food: 6 out of 10 Atmosphere: 5 out of 10 We stopped in here for our lunch today, and unfortunately I wasn't impressed. We started the meal with fried green tomatoes, which I have ever had before. They were piping hot, and juicy on the inside. I lied them, but I do wish the breading would've stayed on a bit better. Might have been cooked a little too fast. Still good though. I ordered the steak platter, with scrambled eggs, hash browns, and the flavorless slab of meat that I didn't finish haha I understand using a round steak price wise, by adding extra protein to the meal, but at least add a little salt to it while you cook. It's not hard for me to add it once I have it either, but it definitely doesn't get cooked into the meat, and just bounces off the harder, outer portion. The eggs, and hash browns were okay, typical diner style food to me really. My girlfriend ordered the chicken strips, which were very good. Huge strips of chicken, a big pile of mashed potatoes, and tons of fried okra. To be honest, the chicken did have a bit of a pre-packaged taste, but it was good. Everyone I know raves about this place...but I find it to be nothing special. It's a small cafe type of vibe, but the food did not seem homemade. Most all in my party ordered breakfast and enjoyed it. I ordered the open face roast beef and it was good but nothing special. One item I didn't care for is that this place is "seat yourself" but there is not a waiting area and no employee helping guide diners, which made for a squabble with guests while we were waiting. I'd recommend that at least during COVID they come up with a better plan for waiting and seating. read more

We had a decent size group of 7 and they were able to accommodate on a Friday morning. Food was great, especially their sweets: buttermilk pancakes and cinnamon rolls! Bacon had a great smoke flavor. I have seen some reviews of this cafe that were low due to speed of service. Being a small town café at times I can see were people calling in sick or car troubles, etc. can have a negative impact on service times. Such is life with any small town establishment I'm sure. That was not the case today, I have nothing but great reviews of all the aspects of this little café. Service was on point and friendly and coffee and water never fell below half. We arrived early on a Sunday morning around 7:30 AM and the restaurant was not full. The food was great and to order. Proper comfort food for breakfast. There was four of us and all were satisfied with their food. While we were there the crowd grew and the staff increased accordingly. You can rest assured, this will be our go to breakfast place when in downtown Branson. Plus the art and unique items hung around the room add a nice feel. read more

Very cute, friendly little cafe that does breakfast and lunch in downtown Branson area. Fast, friendly service with a southern down-home vibe. Cinnamon French toast is really good - my daughter added banana slices to hers and loved it. Bacon is thin (which I prefer) and crispy. Friend had an omlette with ham, cheese, onions and peppers and liked hers too. Pancakes were a little overdone on the bottom but other than that all was great! We weren't too impressed when we walked in. The restaurant is pretty shabby looking. I didn't even realize the decor was supposed to be clock related. The food came out pretty quickly. My Rueben was very good, but my husband's open faced hot beef sandwich had very little beef on it. When we told our server, her response was, "Oh, I'm sorry." That was the end of it. Greeted right away and sat. Temperature of restaurant was on the cool side, noticed everyone still wearing their coats, also no music playing which would have added a nice touch. French toast was nice, over medium eggs cook well and sausage patties were yummy. My scrambled eggs were what I refer to a lazy scramble where you can clearly see the whites and yokes, not light and fluffy. Hash browns were just ok, prefer them a little more crispy. Coffee cups were kept full but there was no creamer at our table, had to borrow some from next table. read more

Learned of this place advertised as the place the locals eat from local tourism channel 5. The hotel breakfast was way to crowded and unappealing so the wife and I visited Clockers. Parking in the historic district of Branson is a challenge but a lot to see and do once you find a spot. It is a seat yourself restaurant and luckily for us only one other couple was waiting to eat so we found a booth for two quickly and were well taken care of by the staff. This booth only had a half wall dividing it from its other side so it was basically open to the other customers sitting right beside us. It felt strange at first but the gentleman who sat down beside was indeed a like long local resident and quickly introduced himself. We struck up a great conversation and a few other local residents joined him and provided us all sorts of tips for the area. Very friendly people who welcomed tourists. We ordered the Biscuits and Gravy for breakfast which was absolutely delicious. That being my favorite breakfast dish I love to try it where ever we go and theirs was one of the smooth & best tasting I've had. We arrived about 9am and the place was already basically full but by time we left the line to get in we down the side walk. I would suggest you arrive early and come hungry. read more

Their food is home style cooking, and we give a "10"rating with their Sausage Gravy and Biscuits! Our Son says this item is the best he's ever eaten...and he is quite the expert with Sausage Gravy!
