I'm not actually sure but the cocktails are good. I think the vibes when I went was off. Granted I did go on a weekday where it was pretty empty. I did really appreciate that they were chips of ice in the cocktail, cause it was a really hot day, so I made sure that the drink stayed really cold and delicious. Water is self service. They shift their menu a lot which I think is really nice for the community. The cocktails are on the pricier side they think they start around 14 or 16 which I think is a little too much for a local neighborhood bar.

The vibes are right and the bartenders were nice and chatty, the only reason this place isnt "my" place and doesn't get 5 stars is because they dont make a very good dirty martini and thats like base level. I asked for it extra dirty and I could barely taste the olive brine, I actually had to have him pour more in front of me lol. Also service was a little slow. So for grabbing a quick drink with the girls sure, but staying as a regular nah.

I'd definitely return, though I don't live in Baltimore, which complicates things a bit :P…read more The overall experience was great. I met up with a friend here, with her husband and kids and my husband, and we had a great time. We didn't realize there would be live music, so it was a bit loud at first, but we got used to it. (The trumpet got a bit loud at times, but that's how such instruments can be!) My friend and I both got a cup of the crab chowder, which was tasty, if a bit weird-looking when the oil separated in it. I got a crab cake, and it didn't seem special compared to other crab cakes I've had, perhaps a bit dry too, but it was definitely fresh. I also went rogue and got a watermelon drink that was good enough where multiple would be dangerous! Everyone seemed to like their food, and my husband even tried clam strips and enjoyed them! The food came pretty quickly, so it's a nice choice if you're bringing kids (or hungry adults).

Highly recommend if you're at the harbor.

We had a party of 7 and we pretty much had our pick of where to sit. The waitress was talking really fast and low and we kept having to ask her to repeat herself. Everyone was pretty happy with their drinks. This is when the night turned. 4 of the 7 of us wanted to leave and head elsewhere, the waitress made ALL 7 of us pay even though the others wanted to stay and order more. She would not budge on this and seemed pretty nonchalant about it. .. all in all. Glad we found it but won't be back.

This bar is inside the Hotel Ulysses, once entering the lobby, it's up the stairs and on the right. The dimly lit, mirror covered walls, and plush velvet seating adds to the upscale vibes. We were quickly attended to by a server and placed an order for drinks. My mom got a drink that included something called shrub (never heard of this before), but the server warned us it is a bit vinager-y and different, but that was ok for us. I ordered the Ocha Kudasai and my mom got the Zahara. The Kudasai was like a lychee green tea drink, it was light, slightly sweet, and delicious. The Zahara was different (as promised), but actually delectable. It had a flavor that I had never had in a drink before, but in a pleasant way. If you're an adventurous drinker, definitely try the Zahara! Love the vibes here, I will definitely be back.

Found this place on Yelp. It's inside the Ulysses hotel. It's really posh, and probably great for a date or a girls' night out. We chose to sit at the bar and leave the intimate spaces for people who were in that mood. Bartenders were really friendly and helpful and attentive and knowledgeable. I think we ended up with the Delorean and the Walking Iris, and shared the mini crabcakes. All were very good.

I went an hour early before everyone else was supposed to be there to get on the waitlist, but the wait was until 10 pm!! So I quickly switched gears and called Benny's because I've heard great things about them. The gentlemen who answered the phone was so kind, and was able to squeeze us in on the fly on a Saturday night, and they weren't slow. Got there super early because I was already in the area, and my wife and I decided to have an old fashioned and an espresso martini at the bar while we waited and they were excellent. The ambiance was upscale but still managed to be relaxed and comfortable. We had a lovely dinner, the waiter was busy but was still attentive and patient. Our whole experience was awesome, so we were already going back in the future. Yesterday I realized a mistake on my bank account from the bar charge, so I called around 6 pm and spoke to the same gentlemen as before. He got all my info and promised he'd call back in 5 minutes. I didn't really expect 5 minutes because I know how crazy the dinner rush would be at an Italian restaurant with a Wednesday wine special. Not even 3 minutes later he called back, and explained what happened, fixed it and I got a follow up text immediately letting us know the refund was already in process. Now, I've been in the service industry and I was a bartender, so I understand that I'm going to be a little biased here but from beginning to end Benny's went above and beyond.
