Barbers are good and not too expensive, but they aren't very organized. They accept appointments but half the time I don't think they even write it down. I've made morning appointments several times and shown up on time only to have to wait for walk ins to finish up first. Waited over half an hour once for an appointment I made. If you don't mind spending a few hours hanging around on the weekend this place is fine. Otherwise if you're busy, look elsewhere. Cash only too. read more

I have been having trouble finding a haircut place I was comfortable with in both vibe and price. I won't diss any of the other places, but here is why I like clips. 1. It's cheap - you don't need alot of skill to cut my hair. I have even done it in a pinch. But it's not a $50 an hour plus tip job, (25 bucks) which happens at other places. At Clips, it is a $26 an hour wage plus tip (thirteen dollar haircut with a $4 tip done in less than a half hour) 2. It's easy to communicate - There are like 14 posters with different haircuts on them, and I say the number I want and then answer questions as I go. This helps because a) everyone here speaks Veitnamese the whole time, and b) when I have to explain things in barbers terms, I usually mess it up. Great move 3. It's quick - I have been three times and each time I have been helped immediately and out the door. There are four chairs and usually three barbers. There is a parking lot behind the shop, and I'll also mention that they only take cash, but the liquor store two doors down has an ATM, and you can grab some beer for later! read more

I've been a loyal customer with Clip's Barber Shop for about 7+ years now. This place is modest, clean, and friendly. The main barbers (Viet, Kim, and Lisa) are professional, kind, and just simply great at doing their job. A lot of my friends have asked me where I go to get my haircuts and Clip's Barbershop is always by no means, my no.1 recommendation. I don't have much to say about this place, other than how amazing and skillful the barbers are at Clip's. I recommend Viet and I personally think he is the absolute best at the shop, for both guys and girls. Price for Regular Men's Haircut: $14 - 15 (as of July 2019). Tucked at the end of a small shopping center off of New Hampshire. I'm only looking for a few things in a haircut, that it is done well and efficiently. They were very thorough, but it takes a little longer than what I'm used to. Why take 300 small cuts when 100 would suffice? I was satisfied with the haircut and will be coming back. Lisa has been cutting my hair since I was a little girl and she was at Flower Ave barber shop. I can get the same cut from her that I can get for 5x the price at Hugo Salon in Wheaton. I'm glad she got her own shop, Clip's. Hidden gem. She can do any style hair cut for women.. try her out! Ive been going here for about 15 years and it is under new ownership. They have really cleaned it up from a old style barber look to current fashion. hair cuts are good value, I tend to prefer the old owner that works there most days. I highly recommend this barbershop. My husband and I previously went to an expensive salon, and we did not like the outcome of his haircut. With this barber, my husband showed the photo of the hairstyle he wanted, and with few extra details the barber did a perfect job. A week before the wedding, I wanted to add layers to my hair without taking length off, and the barber was able to do that as well. I was concerned that he would take length off, which would impact my wedding hairstyle, but he made sure to not. The price is excellent $14 for men and $20 for women, and I have extremely long hair to mid-stomach. They have long lines 6-7pm, so be mindful of that read more
