They messed my hair up and I'm forced to pay and he looks at me. He's like I thought it looked better this way I didn't pay you for what you thought. So when I'm paying it's $23 for a ruined haircut and he goes so how much is your tip your total for a tip on me and you messed up my hair and I had to stop in the middle of what you were doing so I can keep the rest of what I got. So rude and unprofessional. Vibe is not what I would expect of a decent establishment.

After paying for haircuts for both myself and my son, one of the barbers (the big one, 1-2 stations down from the Korean barber on the right) loudly called out as I was leaving that I had "forgotten to leave a tip." That's completely inappropriate. Tipping is optional, not mandatory, and calling out a customer publicly is unprofessional and uncomfortable. I ended up leaving a small tip just to avoid further awkwardness, which should never be the case. It's unfortunate, because experiences like this overshadow everything else. The haircuts themselves were average at best, and honestly, my wife does a much better job. Based on this experience, I won't be returning.

I've come here three times and the younger dude who cut it once did a solid job. The older guy, I got a cut from him twice and it was not so great. This was probably my last time visiting. Located right in the same plaza as Giant, practically next door, this is a nice, kind of…read moreneighbourhood barbershop, and a big upstep from any of the nearby chains. The place is clean, the staff friendly, and the haircuts are good. I try to stop in whenever I need a haircut. However, one small word of warning: the place is cash only. They have an ATM on site, but it's one of the more expensive ATMs I've ever used -- the fee is $3.75 (and my bank then charges another $2.50 on top), so I have to add an extra $6.25 to my haircut price. :( They don't have any signage up saying, "Welcome to 1964, we're cash only," and finding out -after- you've gotten a haircut leaves you only the option of using their expensive machine. Also, NGL.... it is 2025. I've seen buskers with signs that accept card. Nobody carries cash anymore, and there's no legit reason to not accept cards. Pass that extra 3% or whatever on to me, it'd still be cheaper than the ATM fee.

If it wasn't a special occasion(my birthday), I wouldn't take a risk and wait for Ricky. I asked for half fade, specifically not all the way to top, and blend the rest. She did the half fade first, my back was looking at the mirror I couldn't see, I thought that she was blending the rest but booomm number 2 all the way to the top. I didn't want her to touch the rest and mess up more . I thanked her and paid. While I was leaving I asked for Ricky s number to the lady ( I assume she is the owner) she said they r not allowed to share employee s number which is totally right and understandable. I wanted to leave my number for him to contact me. she asked me "why?". I said I ll text him Cuz I heard that he is sick. She said " No, he is fine". She didn't let me to leave my number. Henry did a great job on my older son's hair that my youngest decided he wanted the same cut a week later! Can't beat the price here, especially for the time put into each haircut. While you wait, you can lounge in one of their chairs while watching TV, sipping on some coffee, or just relaxing. Overall great experience here. Will definitely be back.
