As soon as I walked in, a sales consultant greeted me and asked how he could help. He was very friendly and took me right to the counter once I explained I was there for a return. He handled everything smoothly, pulled up my account, processed the return, and gave me a receipt. He also mentioned a few upgrades that could apply to my cell phone plan without being pushy. The store itself was clean and well organized, and the music volume was just right--easy to have a conversation without any distractions. Overall, this has become my go-to spot for returns. Our visit to this Xfinity store was the culmination of problems with our service at home. We got a REALLY helpful person through chat in the app who did some remote updates to our router but still recommended a tech come out to take a look. The tech that came out was probably the best tech I've ever encountered. He knew exactly what the problem was: we were sent the wrong router. We were given a XB7 instead of an XB8, which is what we need for our Ultra internet service. So we had two great Xfinity experiences but now we had to go to the store to exchange our router. I honestly went in prepared for battle. I told my girlfriend the same thing 3 times before we got there: "this is what I'm going to say and if they say anything other than 'ok, we can do that', I'm gonna lose my mind". We got to the store, walked in and were greeted quickly. I dropped my prepared statement and I kid you not, they were like "ok, we can do that." They took our old router, brought a new one up, scanned it to add it to account and we were out the door. We were in the store for MAYBE 10 minutes and that includes the Xfinity Cell Service sales pitch. I'm not mad at that part because 1) they have to pitch that, it's their job and 2) we are actually looking at switching to a different cell carrier later this year, so we'll be interested in that sooner than later. In short, this whole thing has been the best experience with Comcast / Xfinity that I've ever had. The whole thing could've gone downhill as soon as we entered the store and quite frankly, I was expecting it to. However, our experience in the store was as good or better than I could've asked for.

For a company this large, the level of customer service is fucking embarrassing. Getting straightforward help should not be this difficult. You shouldn't have to fight your way through automated systems, endless runarounds, and aggravation just to get basic service or a problem addressed. There are plenty of companies I've had mediocre experiences with. Xfinity is in a different category. They have managed to turn something as basic as cable and internet service into a source of constant frustration. If you have another legitimate option in your area, seriously consider it before signing up with Xfinity. I would not recommend this company to anyone. Absolutely awful. One star only because Google and Yelp won't let me give them zero.

IQ Fiber Won't Honor Their Repair Statement…read more IQ Fiber ran wires down our street. When the workers asked us to turn on our sprinkler lines to make sure they were running properly, we saw that one line near the line they ran was not working. The supervisor on our site assured me that when we got our sprinkler people to find the leak and repair it, they would cover the cost. We use a private sprinkler company who went above and beyond to finally find the broken pipe right by the box IQ Fiber installed. We sent IQ Fiber multiple pictures showing the broken pipe by their installed box along with an invoice that stated company name and cost of repair. IQ Fiber stated they would not honor the invoice since the private company could not give them some ID number they wanted. This was not a neighbor of friend making the repair, it is a legitimate company but they would not honor their statement to cover the cost. I would never allow them to provide any service to my house. I wonder how many other people have had the same issues with this company. I highly recommend my sprinkler company but would never recommend IQ Fiber since they don't make things right after they cause damage.

They charged 40.00 for a charging cord that costs 11.99 at target and the rest of the necessary accessories were 3x the price everywhere else. He took advantage of me because I was using a corporate credit card and thought I wouldn't care. Do not go to the store and buy anything.
