If I could give 0 for customer service I would. Went to trade in my phone and upgrade since the promo online was $200 off for a trade in. I blame myself for not confirming with them that they would honor the trade in, because they didn't. The sales rep and manager both told me there was nothing to be done and would not honor it or offer any credit back at the end of the transaction. Sales rep pushed for a high review when she didn't even ask what size storage phone I wanted, pushed purchasing other items, and didn't offer the trade in promo. Manager wouldn't even make eye contact and blew me off when I got frustrated that they wouldn't honor the promo without redoing the entire order which would have taken another 1.5 hours in the store. I just found out I was duped into a termination fee terms of service in 2025 when requesting a price adjustment and then in 2026 coerced into staying with Xfinity because of the $230 price tag to drop them. Especially diabolical after dealing with a chat agent that terminated my service out of petty spite. Spent hours being lied to, gas lit, offered multiple prices for identical service plans and double the price or more for the same service offered to new customers.  WOW  if you have ANY options go elsewhere. read more

They are actually making - having no competition in Jacksonville a thing- they do not care about neg reviews, quality is totally lacking in customer service, they hang up on you on the ph. In the store they are selling you something you dont need and tell you there is nothing else, which turned out to be a lie. This review is for Xfinity/Comcast corporate, not this location. My complaints are as follows: 1. Unlike other ISPs and streaming services, you cannot cancel Xfinity via the internet. You must CALL and talk to a representative who will keep you on the phone for 30 minutes trying to sell you other packages. 2. My father recently passed away and in order to cancel my father's Xfinity service, not only did I have to spend 30 minutes on the phone, the customer service rep wanted me to ASK MY FAMILY OR MY FATHER'S NEIGHBORS IF THEY WANTED TO ASSUME HIS DEAL!! I was flabbergasted and after 30 excruciating minutes of scripted questions and responses I was not successful in canceling his service over the phone because XFINITY WANTS ME TO SUBMIT A DEATH CERTIFICATE in order to cancel his service!!! I was able to cancel Roku, Netflix, Cell phone, and Hulu very easily. He has been a customer since 2017 and he purchased his router from Best Buy. Make it make sense. I was told I would get a free Apple watch, I said no, I will never use it. Then I question why it was free and the salesperson said it was a holiday promotion and put it in my bag. Now, I'm looking at my bill and see that I was charged for the watch and service. I don't use the watch at all. Now I'm paying for a watch and a service that I don't use. You scam me big time. That's a horrible thing to lie to people just to up your sales. You don't care about your customers, you only care about your numbers. Don't go there they will scam you 2!!!!!! The response that you gave me isn't helpful. I called customer service before writing this review and they said to contact the store. Runaround, no one wants to take accountability. I'm on auto pay so I never questioned my bills until today which I couldn't see online so when I called customer service, they said I should use the app. Why as I company, can't you be transparent from being a new customer to be able to see my charges on-line? I was shocked to find out that I'm paying for a Apple watch that I never asked for nor wanted and never set up to use. I told the Spanish lady helping me from Orlando that I didn't want and would never use a Apple watch and she told me it was free. When I questioned her, why is it free? I don't love having to use Xfinity in general (and have seen others learn the hard way to always get a receipt when you turn in your modem,) but this particular store does well. I had to go a couple of times for modem swap and turning it in when moving. I have noticed other stores don't do this, but they have a small table out front / at the front of store that takes quick issues, like the aforementioned, and I'm in and out in 30 seconds with receipt. read more

Here's something I never thought I be doing: giving any service from Comcast / Xfinity a 5 star review. Yet here we are. Our visit to this Xfinity store was the culmination of problems with our service at home. We got a REALLY helpful person through chat in the app who did some remote updates to our router but still recommended a tech come out to take a look. The tech that came out was probably the best tech I've ever encountered. He knew exactly what the problem was: we were sent the wrong router. We were given a XB7 instead of an XB8, which is what we need for our Ultra internet service. So we had two great Xfinity experiences but now we had to go to the store to exchange our router. I honestly went in prepared for battle. I told my girlfriend the same thing 3 times before we got there: "this is what I'm going to say and if they say anything other than 'ok, we can do that', I'm gonna lose my mind". We got to the store, walked in and were greeted quickly. I dropped my prepared statement and I kid you not, they were like "ok, we can do that." They took our old router, brought a new one up, scanned it to add it to account and we were out the door. We were in the store for MAYBE 10 minutes and that includes the Xfinity Cell Service sales pitch. I'm not mad at that part because 1) they have to pitch that, it's their job and 2) we are actually looking at switching to a different cell carrier later this year, so we'll be interested in that sooner than later. In short, this whole thing has been the best experience with Comcast / Xfinity that I've ever had. The whole thing could've gone downhill as soon as we entered the store and quite frankly, I was expecting it to. However, our experience in the store was as good or better than I could've asked for. read more

I am sitting here right now in the store. There are as many employees as there are customers and there is still a wait of 6 customers. Most employees are walking around fiddling with their devices (tablets or phones) as people wait. they have two employees outside just checking people in (which would not be needed if they were helping the customers in here). I am just here to pick up a modem that has been prepaid and walk out and I have still been here 25 minutes. The people working here are very nice and cordial but highly inefficient. read more

Great location and great staff. Picked up the internet service in July, super happy with that service. Added Mobile yesterday and am completely ecstatic so far. CRYSTAL IS THE REAL DEAL!!!! She makes potentially stressful experiences like getting new internet and choosing a new cell phone provider plus switching to a new phone and keeping your same number...all a BREEZE!! 8-31-24 Xfinity had a power surge which burned the Comcast coaxial cable and cable box and fried my tv. They told me that I would get a report with pictures for insurance. I could never get anyone to answer the phone on the supervisor line. They put new wifi and a gadget that transferred the tv service through wifi instead. I got no report, only $30 compensation for having to buy new tv. They redid my contract and raised the price $20 for fewer services. When I went to the Beach Blvd location, the tech who "helped" me, had no ability to correct anything. As soon as I can find replacement services, I will drop mobile phone, internet and tv. I had the pleasure of working with Ariana Smith at this location over a 3 day period as I was transitioning from AT&T to Xfinity Mobile. I actually worked with a few lovely helpful ladies there, but Ariana really stood out. We had an issue with my replacement iPhone, and it required phone calls to a separate team and it took what seemed like forever. Ariana could probably tell that I was getting a bit heated when it didn't seem like it was going well, but she was calm, cool and professional with her colleague on the phone. Everything ultimately went according to plan minus the little hiccup and I was able to leave with a perfectly working new IPhone. I recommend the crew at this location. They are very customer friendly and know what they're doing. read more

I already call several times and all the people I spoke to tell me the same thing. They will have cable in 2 to 24 hours that does not happen. My experience at this location was good. I waited about 10 minutes to switch out old equipment for new to hook up in my new house. But when I got home the cable nor modem could be activated. Comcast advised, after waiting on hold an hour and a half to speak to someone, they can't come out until Monday afternoon to investigate the issue. The people in this store are so rude and entitled. They have no clue how to do their jobs. They act like they are too good to be helping you when they are the ones working for a finite. Normally I wouldn't have a problem with just 1 rude employee, but I have been to this store twice in 24 hours and every single person I've encountered did not know what they were talking about, were extremely rude and everything they told me previously was wrong. Not a single person in the store knows how to do their job or act like they even want to be there. Half of them roll your eyes at you when you walk in and are on their phones the whole time. They followed up and came out to install a new line from the pole to the house, and repair an interior access issue, money well spent. Coaxial cable better than DSL, better system, better service... My friend just returned from purchasing a new phone from this store. She wanted to change to an iPhone from her old Samsung. They totally dismissed her and sold her a Samsung. When she got home and opened the box, the screen was cracked. She went back and they told her she would have to purchase a warranty to get it replaced. She was told they inspect them all before sales and she "must have dropped it." They would not help her in any way and treated her like she was stupid. She has two Master's degrees. She asked for the manager and was again dismissed. They saw an older woman and thought they could get away with that treatment. They are the worst and shouldn't be working with the public. I have used Comcast for almost 20 years. But for the last 12 months they sometimes claim the haven't received my auto payment. I go in to the Comcast store on beach and the claim the fixed it so it is auto play then the next month it happens again they claim I haven't paid. It is a joke with them. I spend $85 each month just for internet. Plus they charge me late fees. The manager and his underlings that work for him are all criminals. Have a nice day. read more

Just walked in. Feels like an Apple Store. Really roomy. Customer service as soon as you walk in. Totally different experience than what I was expecting. They sell mobile devices (iPhones, Samsung Galaxy models), speakers, headphones, and advertise their home security plans and equipment at different kiosks. They also have a small selection of landline phones and cell phone cases. There is an express bill pay station if you just need to get in and out. Six people seeing customers not including people working the floor, but stations #1-11 looks like they can be manned for peak times. Looks like they have taken a step up from their regular service model. While here writing the review you can tell the customers were pleased with their experience as was I. If you're not wanting to deal with calling in, I highly recommend this location. read more

Hands-down the worst customer service I have ever encountered. Went into this store on Beach Boulevard, supposedly was placed on line for assistance, returned to the desk when 10 (literally) people who came in after me had been help. The answer was "they've been calling you." I am neither hard of hearing nor have any other sensory impairment. I was sitting in the middle of the store. Nobody called me! As I was having this conversation, the representative next to the woman I was speaking with asked, "What's his name?" I gave him my name, he looked up on his computer, and he said, "Oh look when you set him up you didn't put him in line, so what you're looking at that you think says they would have called him already is the record where they replaced one piece of equipment here at the desk right when he walked in." Thus ensued an argument between those two about whether or not she had done her job right -- obviously not! I walked out. Still with the same problem I have called Comcast about four times and spent hours (literally) on the phone with Comcast to resolve. A zero rating is apparently impossible here; however that is what they deserve. The incompetence at the store is beyond description . . . But it is commensurate with Comcast service (?) by phone or anything -- consistent!. read more
