We have been going to clearly eyecare for a few years now it is always exceptional. Customer service you get in and you get out and she totally listens to your needs and wants. I personally am a little hardheaded and stuck in my ways and she takes her time to explain different products and why it may be better for you. Highly recommended for your contact and eyeglass yearly exam. The last place we went to we went to for multiple years and although I like the doctor, we would spend at least 2 1/2 to 3 hours just to get the exam with clearly you are in and out. read more

At first I thought this place was a great deal. They said $100 for an eye exam which was a lot less then I have been quoted at a few other places and they said that included a contacts lens exam. I get there and they say it's better if we also do three other exams and instead of $100 it'll be $145 and we're going to order you some contacts which will make it $160(or at least that's how it was explained to me). I said that's okay because comparatively to the other places that was less but I didn't know that there were unseen charges to come that they would not tell me about until the contact lenses got there. About a week later I realized I had a pair of frames that would work really well and so I went back there to see if it would work and the woman told me that I had not asked for contact lenses (which I had at least three times during the visit and on the phone) and on top of that it was going to be $80 for them to show me how to put in the contact lenses but would not include contact lenses which brings the price up to $240 from the $100 price that I was quoted in the beginning. The woman at the front desk was unfriendly although the man was a nice guy but clearly didn't have the authority to say or do anything. Basically she called me a liar, saying that I never asked for a contact lens fit... but somehow I knew all this information about how I would have to come back 2 weeks later to get the test fit (of course the $80 extra charge for the fitment wasn't told to me). I will update as the situation goes along but as of now I would suggest going with a place that will give you a clear full price up front and this is not the place. If you want an eye exam with contact lenses then you'll be looking at about $200 to $260, if someone says less than they're going to be adding charges on top from the research that I've done. Between the woman being rude and saying that I never said anything about a contact lens exam when I clearly did three times and then up charging me an extra 2.5 times what I was originally going to pay (and that's before paying for contact lenses which are exorbitantly pricey there), I would say go anywhere else but here as of now, but I will update this and see if they try and resolve it in a good way. You'll be able to find the same review on Yelp. I would say that one star is appropriate since there was at least one person there that was non-confrontational. read more

I have a new eye doctor after 30+ years of being with another doctor. I gave Dr. Tina a try after a friend referred me. I have probably really needed bi-focals for several years now but my ego stood in the way. At my old doctor they just let me say no to bi-focals even though they probably knew it was best for me. Dr. Tina lovingly helped me make the transition to bi-focals and really assured me that it would be best for me...even though I fought against it. She truly had my best interest in mind and came out of her comfort zone to be a straight shooter with me and help me get beyond my ego. I'm so thankful that after 3 years of putting my glasses on my head to read up close...I now have amazing bi-focals. It's taken a little time to get used to them but I am seeing clearly both near and far now. It's really a huge improvement. I thank Dr. Tina for doing what's best for me. I also took my daughter to see Dr. To and the visit was more than we expected. Her office is beautiful. She has a great selection of frames and contacts. She accepts the VSP insurance plan and was very knowledgeable about our benefits. We had been to other optometrists in the past and remember it being a painful experience for my daughter with lots of testing techniques that left my daughter's eyes watering and uncomfortable. She didn't experience any discomfort with Dr. To. We were thrilled to see the optomap retinal imaging machine which is very important for monitoring inner eye health long term. Overall it was a great experience and Dr. To is very caring, professional and straight forward when it comes to eye health. I highly recommend her. read more

Dr. Tina's great. Love going into her office and seeing all the options for glasses and contact lenses. I've been wearing contacts for probably 20 years, which means I see optometrists frequently. In those 20 years not one has asked if I rub my eyes a lot. As I thought about it, I recognized that I do. She told me to stop; that is what is continuing to damage my eyes. 20 years of doctors and not one has recognized that I rub my eyes a lot. She's great and obviously very thorough. read more

Perhaps, I was expecting a lot after all the good reviews. I must say, that I was very disappointed. I recently had my kid's lenses changed at this store on the existing frame (which was sturdy and was working very well), but somehow after the new lenses were done, the frame was loose and wide and when I asked the reason, I got a very unreasonable answer, that the lenses are heavy and so the glasses droop forward. I mean a good frame would carry the weight of the lenses, no matter. And the other option was to tie a band around. Now, I have a damaged frame. They would not even acknowledge it. But what bothered me was, the excuses they give, assuming that the customer is not aware or educated. I would definitely not go back but wanted to share my disappointing experience with others. (Note: I immediately called the previous optometrist & eye frame center and send the details of the lenses. They confirmed that the lenses weight should not "droop" the frame or the glasses). We have been going to Clearly Eyecare for 2 years now. Dr. Tina does a great job fitting toric soft contact lenses. I have worn gas permeable lenses for over 25 years and she was able to help me get fitted in a more comfortable lens despite my great astigmatism'. Most places push you to get your eyes dilated but they don't. They have this new technology that doesn't require it so that's a plus. They have a huge selection of glasses to choose from. I have to say this is the BEST eye Dr I have ever seen! With prior cataract surgery, mono vision and the need to see up close, computers and distance she fit me perfectly! Dr Tina attended to my son after they were closed. She did not need to attend him but still came back to be able to help. Not only was she caring with my child who was hurting but she diligently handled a crying 4 year old who wouldn't cooperate. I seriously recommend her for any of your eye needs. Also the front desk ( Julianna) was stellar as she kept the clinic opened for me and request Dr Tina to come back to the office. Unfortunately I can't say the same good comments. My experience wasn't good! First off I was told upon arrival (twice one by the doctor then by the front desk staffer) that my health insurance offered way better coverage than my vision but since the health insurance company was closed then I should wait until next year's visit to coordinate coverage....that's great thanks for not being considered about me using my benefits ineffectively no alternative/accommodations offered. Not sure why this got missed but I did mention my health insurance over the phone at the time of appointment! Fast forward to the exam...the doctor seemed really rushed during the exam and even when walking in and introducing herself she made absolutely no eye contact and quickly stated her name all while she washed her hands. She also oddly enough asked me what she could help me with today? Clearly there's only one thing you go to the optometrist for...Isnt it obviously that you go to the optometrist for an eye exam? Maybe not so I stated I needed my eye exam completed. In addition once the exam started she SPED through that "1 or 2" "2 or 3" barely giving a second to process the changes. Also as a new patient she didn't ask about past issues I shared that I had lasik which does make a huge difference with contacts! She then had me try some contacts on....by the way she has no proper structured area to try on contacts. You have to oddly bend over to see in minor to even place the contact in. The doctor basically rushed me out to the waiting area to wait for the contacts to 'adjust' Once out front I figured out why the rush, she had three other patients waiting. Of course the lenses that she placed me in are an absolute horrible fit as I mentioned in the exam. She had me remove one and sent on my way. I'm planning to see my former optometrist to get my proper lenses and glasses! Because Dr. Tina even wrote me two prescriptions for glasses without a rhythm or reason. I clearly told her that I wanted my nearsightedness improved. Total waste of 80.00, she could care less and spoke so quickly giving for complex options that included two sets of glasses and then contacts. She's gotta improve communication on complex issues. And I would avoid this place for any pediatric eye exam. I saw that "pediatric" services were advertised and I took my 5 year old in (before my dreadful experience) and this office is definitely NOT kid friendly! As a matter of fact I had to assist my son every step of the way. He didn't sit/fit properly in the seats. Bottom line I attempted to give this place a shot because of the convenience of Saturday appointments but obviously that was a mistake. Furthermore, I'm going else where to get my vision corrected and this doc is impatient and needs proper bedside manner! Continously rushing me through many complex options and telling me to decide what I wanted....Hello didn't come in to see the professional and obviously wished to obtain the "professional's" option? Shes like I can either correct your vision near or far but you can't have both which do you want???? Go if you have a straightforward prescription however should you have complex issues such as I stay away. Also it appears that this doc has clearly violated my HIPPA rights by posting my personal and confidential medical information online...this will be addressed! You would think a a medical professional would know better. And duh I process things differently...of course we're all different, in addition, I can only base my personal experience on my experience not based on others!! So this was my experience. If you are already rushing a patient and making them feel uncomfortable then yes I just wanted out of the awful situation. You didn't witness the phone conversation and I clearly provided medical insurance info and if I didn't provide it why do you have it? A complete copy of it! read more

I went here a few days ago and this place is great. Relatively small place but gets the job done. The optometrists were kind and great to be around, They did the usual with puffing air into the eyes, sight tests and such. However Dr. Tina was the key point here, she's was very helpful, kind and welcoming. She tested with the main tests with eye dilation the clearness of both eyes. And after my appointment was finished I picked out new frames and Dr Tina even helped picking out my frames and seeing which ones matched my face.
