I have been going there for several years. They suggested that I get cataract surgery and then I took their advice and had the procedure done on both eyes. This procedure has greatly helped me maintain my vision. One of optometrist saw an issue with one eye and suggested I have a retina specialist check it out. You just lost a family of five with glasses. We're right around the corner and have been going here a few years since we moved. I called this afternoon to schedule appts and your front office girl was extremely rude. She had no idea regular medical insurance covers eye drs and she couldn't get our id correct even when spelled phonetically. I was really patient saying it over & over 10 times, but she continued to get nasty with me. She finally found us in your system, but I was over her attitude. Such a shame bc we see all of the local drs around our neighborhood & they're great. Your front office will make or break your business. Tried to use this eye center since they are conveniently located for me, but had an unpleasant experience both at the office during the initial visit, as well as when trying to get order approval with an online merchant. Looking for a new optometrist that actually listens to the customers needs and preferences, and wants to retain their business, rather than expecting that the consumer somehow needs them and has no choices. If you have a choice, I recommend you choose a different eye center. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Buser!! It is a bit of a drive for me to see her every year for my checkup, and yes, I could find an OD much closer, but I trust her care for my eyes so much, I am willing to make the drive. Sometimes it feels as the medical profession is in a rush, hoping there will not be questions to lengthen your visit, but Dr. Buser encourages questions, wanting you to be a well informed patient. I have seen other good OD's, but she always seems to go a step farther. It helps that her wonderful personality makes you forget you're in the middle of an eye exam. She accepts several different insurance companies, which helps, and anytime I call the office, the receptionist tells me to "have a great day", which makes me feel a little extra special as a patient, even though she probably says that to everyone. They also have an optical shop on site, and the guy that works in there reminds me alot of "Dr. Red Duke" and is super nice as well, even if you take forever and a day to pick out frames. I recommend this place to everyone who is looking for an OD, but no one wants to drive to Round Rock. Oh well, their loss is my gain! read more

I discovered this eye center while shopping around for new eye glasses. I looooove the spacious environment. The waiting area is really pretty and clean. It makes you feel as if you are in a posh cabin as opposed to going in for an eye appointment. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dr. Wild was amazing! She explained everything she was doing for me and made me feel very comfortable! I have never had my eyes dialated before and I'm terrible with having drops put in my eyes, but she was very patient about everything and so nice! As for the office, it is really cool. I have been a patient at Forest Creek Eye Center since 2006. I have always found Dr Buser to be very professional, thorough and attentive to my concerns as a patient. At the same time she is friendly and approachable. The waiting area is spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The exam rooms are clean and well maintained. All of my interactions with the front desk staff has been cordial and professional. I get routine reminder calls about my appointments which I appreciate. I've had no problems whatsoever at check out time with billing or insurance. Several of the staffers have been at Forest Creek Eye Center for a long time including Craig in the optical section. I recently relocated here and had my eyes examined elsewhere but couldn't find frames I liked so came to Forest Creek upon the recommended by someone and Facebook and couldn't be more pleased. The staff are exceptionally friendly. They have a great selection of frames (i had 12 in my hands and couldn't decide). Horrible customer service! I ordered my contacts this week. Received a phone call from the front office that my contacts were ready to be picked up and that I could pick them up any time during the hours of 8AM to 5PM. I drive to their office two days later on my lunch break to pick them up only to be told by the front office that I cannot pick up my contacts and that the doctor wishes to give me another exam and another fitting again because my prescription dates back to October. Aren't prescriptions good for a year or am I hallucinating? Further more, why in the world was I not told this information PRIOR to giving me my trial lenses two months ago, PRIOR to me placing the order for the boxes of lenses earlier in the week and PRIOR to calling me and leaving me a message that I could come by and pick the lenses up? This office has wasted my time and gas all without even the smallest of apologies, in fact, no apology whatsoever, rather a rude front desk employee who gives me a smirk and tells me, "Sorry, I don't make the laws." Worst customer service ever! Do not go to this facility! I will be taking my business elsewhere and WILL NOT be recommending this facility to ANY of our friends and neighbors in the Forest Creek area or any area for that matter. read more
