Our journey began with a very significant ant problem that the Clear Defense team made their own and battled it until the end, all the way up through today with Jorge helping us tackle a Carpenter Wasp issue. In our quarterly spray, we indicated seeing wasps, to which Jorge quickly helped identify the exact type of wasps to begin remediation, and took additional time to find and fill any potential new/old areas of entry around the entire house. Carpenter wasps can lead to tens of thousands of dollars of damages and we wouldn't have even known how to address them without Clear Defense. They're worth the money. read more

I have used this company for outdoor pest control and have been pretty happy with the customer service and effectiveness of the treatment. Hired and signed up for flea treatment in my house due to a stray cat coming in with fleas. Was given a plethora of information, most, contradictory. It seemed that whenever I showed a concern, the instructions changed. After waiting 3 hours to go back into my home, I found an actual visual cloud, so treatment is airborne, and strong smell of chemicals. My eyes watered and I started coughing. So I turned the air conditioner on and went another place to sleep. I am still having respiratory reactions to the chemical the next day. I am supposed to vacuum the two carpets two times a day. I am concerned about getting the chemicals airborne again. I did get an apology from the company, not sure what for...but many important people in the ClearDefense hierarchy seemed to be sorry too? I wanted clear instructions from ClearDefense on the pesticide used. The length of time necessary to vacate the house. Which I would suggest being 24 hours or more. I was given no specific information on the pesticide used, either in the proposal (which I stupidly signed) or in the billing. Damage done, be forewarned. read more

Nick came out today to treat the house. We found a giant 3" spider while he was spraying, which he killed quickly. Very grateful as I don't do spiders. He was very knowledgable and pointed out areas to keep an eye on. Will recommend clear defense to others. read more

Their door to door student salesman signed me up for the service and said I could cancel any time after the first month. Their service didn't make a big difference in my mosquito problem so I decided to cancel. When I did, they send me a cancellation bill, saying that any cancellation requires a payback of the discount they use to get you to sign. To me, that is a highly misleading program and I find ClearDefense to be a disreputible company. I will actively tell everyone I know in the neighborhood and beyond about my experience and how dishonest they were. read more

This was our second service with Clear Defense and we are very happy with the service and outcomes so far! We have a LOT of mosquitos and ticks and some bug issues indoors, so we get both the regular inside/outside extermination and fogging for our yard. They are so thorough, and even did our storage shed for us when it had a big spider infestation! It worked like a charm. Both times we had Nick and I am so glad we did! He is polite, extremely thorough, asks all the right questions (because we are bound to forget something!), and efficient. We had a pest control company that I was not satisfied with. There was a young fellow canvassing our neighborhood. Didn't sign up then but called him after getting eaten up by mosquitoes. Very nice man. He scheduled us for 2 days later. The tech is Nick. Real nice and we went over the problem areas. He did the inside which the other company did not do. Nick pointed out problem spots and started to work. He was so thorough and moved fast. Then he got to work outside and sprayed everything. I was impressed with all the areas he covered.
