Update: Cleanly has been charging me a $100.00 monthly service charge. On top of any clothes I might send. What a scam. They aren't even a subscription service!! read more

This is the WORST DRYCLEANING SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF DRYCLEANING. Every single time I've sent something out there's been a problem. My beautiful gowns that barely were worn and needed a basic DRYCLEANING/steam are destroyed by yellowing, discoloration, dye problems. Another time 2 of my husbands $500 Tom Ford shirts went missing. Their policy is to reimburse you 3x the cost of the DRYCLEANING-- that's like $15. So yourself a favor and stay far far away from this joke of a company. read more

Cannot recommend Cleanly more. They are seriously rockstars. Basics first, the app and website are very easy to use, and there's always availability when I need it. Turnaround time is better than what I get at any places locally, and they're priced about the same. But the real reason they get five stars is because they went above and beyond to save my dry cleaning after my well meaning boyfriend decided to toss all my silk blouses in with our wash & fold. Natasha was all over it and the Cleanly team went through all my laundry to pull out the dry clean only items! read more

I've tried multiple on-demand laundry delivery services in NYC, and Cleanly far surpasses them! The staff is always friendly when they come to my door, and I hardly ever have to wait for my pick-ups or drop-offs. They are always offering new updates and incentives, such as Rush Delivery and over-night Dry Cleaning (YES! It's awesome!). I highly recommend choosing Cleanly for your laundry / dry cleaning needs :-) Kellie xx read more

I personally hate the hassle of doing laundry but with Cleanly it's quick and easy. The app is user friendly and I can arrange a pickup within seconds of thinking about it. The text message updates about the timing of collection and drop off are useful and allow me to plan well. The service and quality of laundry is really good. My clothes come back well packed, pressed and smelling fresh. I'd recommend Cleanly without a doubt. read more

Beware, the may be going the way of FlyCleaners as they use multiple vendors to process laundry. Nevermind the fact they apparently have a bag tagging system, once your laundry is in their system or out of its bag there is no way of tracking it. My laundry has been lost including most of my bedsheets and towels, some of which were worth $1000s. Their method of searching for it includes asking customers and vendors who might have received it if they have seen it and searching video surveillance. A one time lawyer I know that video surveillance is hopeless, it is often recorded over or deleted after 24 hours if it works at all. It is astounding to me that they do not know exactly which vendor my bag went to and aren't able to ask one vendor. Their bag tagging system is obviously unreliable. They only reimburse up to 10x of the order you placed. Do not send them anything you would not be able to replace with the 10x reimbursement. Also they do not consider your items lost until 20 days after you sent them to you. If you can't live without it for 20 days don't send it. read more

We use Cleanly all the time. It's convenient, but also our laundry always comes back perfectly clean, dry and nicely folded. The ordering system is very easy and we love being able to set our washing preferences. The concierge persons are on time, prepared and friendly. Obviously, we'd love to have in-unit washer/dryer, but Cleanly makes "doing our laundry" as simple and satisfying as can be. read more

On time, quick turnaround, it's the only laundry out I use when I want to use one. Solid availability in Brooklyn New York.

I will probably never do my own laundry again! Cleanly is fantastic - prompt with pick ups and drop offs, items are nicely folded and arrive clean, fresh and smelling great. I am so pleased to get time back for other tasks! read more

I've literally tried every single laundry place in my neighborhood. Every single one has disappointed. Either they don't pickup when they say they will,..or I have to hunt them and call repeatedly to get them to deliver,... or they don't give you back your laundry detergent. Cleanly for over a year now has always delivered and picked up on time. The one or two times they didn't,..they gave me a discount code for the next order and they texted me letting me know the delay. In addition, for my first order they delivered a laundry bag, weight it at my doorstep AND they gave me a little chocolate sampler. They only lose one star because they almost never adhere to my notes and preferences. Ever pickup I have to tell the delivery person to make sure the laundry people read my notes. Even then,..they don't do it all the time. Bar none this place is the best! read more

I already have limited time as it is, always on the go and would rather spend my free time not worried about cleaning the mountain of clothes stashed in my hamper. Thanks to Cleanly laundry no longer is my burden!! So far So Great! Rather plan my weekends doing something more exciting then being bombarded with the annoying race to the coin machines...So its napping my free day or more time to focus on film projects as my muse... Their app is pretty simple, their valets are courteous and filled of personality. Every time I use it my clothes returned fresh and folded Loved the swanky complimentary laundry bags and the chocolate was a first. Thanks Cleanly! read more

I use Cleanly a few times per month, but when I have money I use them almost weekly. It's a bit expensive, obviously more than the wash and fold at my laundromat, but it's literally door to door, it can't get any easier than that. Out of the dozen times I've used them, the pickup person has only been later than my window of time maybe two times. The pickup and drop off times are convenient I find as someone who works 9-5 or later. My clothes always arrive smelling nice, if you choose scented detergent of course, and folded perfectly. They have yet to damage any of my clothes or loose anything, etc. highly recommended. read more

Multiple time user here. The first few times the service were adequate, although on my most recent dry-cleaning order not only did they HANG my sweaters (one of which was a Missoni cardigan, which now has delightful hanger bumps,) but everything came back smelling of chemicals. I had to air out my coats and jackets before putting them in my closet. My most recent order for wash and fold was a nightmare. The order was picked up promptly in the morning and scheduled for same day delivery, but a few hours after sending out my order I received an email stating that my order would be delayed because they didn't know how to wash the stuff (which honestly was underwear and a bathmat, pretty straightforward.) I responded to them that I would accept the delay and told them when to next deliver it. Another few hours go by and I receive a text AND another email saying they still don't know what to do with my stuff, and that they were holding it until I decided (making it seem like the delay is my fault, right?) I send out ANOTHER email telling them I had already replied with instructions. Then I receive ANOTHER text telling me that they STILL don't know what to do. By this point there's no way my order will be done on time. I sent them a total of four emails before I called them (during their very limited phone hours) to explain the situation. To their credit, the woman who picked up was apologetic, but that didn't change the fact that their email system is broken and no one in their company cares enough to fix it. My email inbox is littered with Cleanly spam because every time I sent an email, I would receive an automatic response stating that their server wasn't accepting requests. I would then get another email a few days later saying the attempted email has failed permanently. SO, basically Cleanly can email you but you can't email them back. They will then hold your clothes until you can call them. Great system right? Okay so I finally receive my order and guess what? My white Matouk bathmat (which cost a hefty sum) is not only fraying, but a dingy grey with BLUE STAINS from unwashed detergent. The quality of the order was pathetically bad, given the fact that they had TWO EXTRA DAYS to fix it. In sum, not only was my order horribly delayed and Cleanly a pain in the neck to get a hold of, by the time I finally received it my items were stained and still damp, in even worse condition "clean" than they were dirty! I am currently trying to have them rewash my bathmat, and the same unresponsiveness has made this process take DAYS. My bathmat is still stained. read more

Cleanly - this is what happens when you try to email them - Laundry Services Near Me

DO NOT USE! I will admit that 75% of the time I have not had an issue with Cleanly, but there have been three occasions where my clothes were not delivered on time right before I was leaving to go on a trip. Yesterday, I opened my laundry bag to find out that they sent me someone else's laundry, and they're currently looking into where my clothes are. I am NOT confident that they will find them which will mean they've misplaced HUNDREDS of dollars of my regularly worn clothing. They're a nightmare. I do not recommend using them at all. read more

This company deserves ZERO stars for my experience. I was using this service for the first time tonight. They called me when they arrived to pick up my laundry while I was using the restroom. I called them back within two minutes, the guy answered and said he already left??? He said he called me when he was in front of the building, but was long gone now. I told him he couldn't possibly be far away because I called him back in two minutes, but he didn't care. He was also very rude and even hung up on me. I wish I would have read other reviews before trying this company out. Worst customer service I have received in years. Cleanly has left me in a bad position right before Thanksgiving as I needed this service done before catching a flight. I will be sure to tell everyone I can to not use this flaky, unreliable service. read more

supper helpful cleaning service Cleanly has been super helpful and great! I live on the UES and work downtown so it's hard to find a cleaner that's still open by the time I get home. I can get pick ups and delivery even at 9pm which is so convenient for my sched! Clothes smell so good. A 30-minute delivery window would be helpful, or maybe same day wash and fold, but overall like it a lot. read more

This is the 2nd time using it and never again! First time I did not like it, my clothes came smelling bleachwhich I'm allergic to it and I never asked them to use it, I payed for fabric softener and they never used it so my clothes was very rough. After maybe 5 or 6 month I used their service again only because I was desperate, with school and work schedules I had no time to do my laundry. This time I asked not to use bleach and to please use fabric softener because I like my clothes to smell good and feel soft. They did as I requested and I am very please with that!! But they shrank many pieces, like REALLY bad, the probably forgot the clothes in the dryer, then the clothes is all wrinkled, probably because they just folded in a such hurry and careless way. I mean we are paying for the service and they just don't provide what they are meant for. It's very sad because it could be a great business if it worked properly. I understand that business it's all about money but if you pay your employees enough to care about your business they probably would do a better job at it and if the employees are just lazy and bad in what they do, just tell them they can be lazy at home and hire people that want to work and do a good job, there are many out there looking for the opportunity Btw, the people that picked up and drop my laundry was very friendly and nice, so I really feel bad that the company as a whole does not do a better job!!! read more

As a travel nurse working long shifts I dont have time to do laundry. Cleanly is fast easy and saves me a load of time. I love it!

We have no laundry in our building and the closest laundromat is too far away, unfortunately. We always receive excellent service with Cleanly. Our laundry always smells so good and is folded perfectly, so amazing to not have the hassle. Also, 90% of the time its sorted for us, which makes life a lot easier with our busy schedules. The app is so convenient and the staff is always very nice and kind. We are cleanly reserve members and it really pays off! Cleanly is worth every cent! read more

GREAT SERVICE!!! I can no longer complain about having to set aside time to do laundry. CLEANLY services are amazing! My wash and fold, shirts for laundering, and dry cleaning get picked up right from my apartment and were dropped back off within 24hr at a time frame i chose. The website, the personal laundry bag, email updates, and ability to pay via credit card are really great features. Love this service, will continue to use it more in the future and recommend it to everyone who wants to have an AWESOME & EASY laundry experience. read more

Cleanly rocks! It really couldn't get any easier. I set up my order with a few clicks, someone kind and friendly shows up at my door, the one time I reached out to Support (not even a problem, just a question), they answered fast and thoroughly. Cleanly's gonna own this market read more

10 days ago I received my laundry back with every single pair of my underwear missing, about 15 pairs. I've emailed, messaged and called Cleanly but they have horrendous customer service and have not returned with any information and have not offered to reimburse me. Do not use this service! This is extremely upsetting, disgusting and disturbing. read more

Cleanly is a really nice laundry service! The app is easy to use. My clothes always come back smelling nicely and folded neatly. I wish the tipping situation was a bit clearer. My first two times using this service were fine. Third time, however, was not so good. They picked up my laundry bag on time, and the next day delivered someone else's laundry instead. I noticed immediately and texted the valet, who picked up the other person's bag so hopefully that person got their laundry back. Three days later, still no sign of my laundry. They responded once saying they were going to look for it, but since then they stopped replying to my emails asking for an update. I had at least $600 worth of work out clothes, underwear, sheets and towels that I am still waiting to recover. The most frustrating part is their lack of follow up. I will post back here if/when I hear back from them. read more

I have two complaints about Cleanly. One, even though I requested non-scented detergent in my wash, my clothes came back smelling REALLY heavily of detergent. If you're sensitive to smells-- especially if you're like me and they give you a headache-- this is no good. Two, I don't understand why they charge extra for comforters and blankets that can simply be thrown in with the rest of the wash. I emailed Cleanly before my laundry was picked up, and specified that my blankets and my comforter can be put in with my other clothes, and don't need to be dry cleaned. But for some reason, I was still charged TWENTY FOUR dollars for my comforter and SIXTEEN dollars for my blanket. That seems insane, considering they don't need to be treated any differently than the rest of my clothes. On the plus side, Cleanly does a great job of folding your clothes and arranging them in the bag so they're super easy to put back. They even put your underwear and socks in little packages so they all stay neatly together. However, considering the price-- especially if you're going to wash blankets or a comforter-- I'd recommend another service that just charges by the pound, and doesn't make you pay ridiculously expensive fees for items that don't need special treatment. read more

This is now the second time my laundry has not been delivered during the window I've selected. I have not heard from Cleanly that my laundry delivery is late. Customer service is not responsive to my request, I can't track my driver. The first time this happened, my laundry was delivered a hour and half late. I was not notified of the late delivery. When I finally heard back from customer service, they could not accommodate to my work and travel schedule. I did not have laundry for an international trip I was taking the next day. I recommend that you switch to FlyCleaners if you want your laundry delivered on time and with acceptable customer service. read more

Can't say enough good things about Cleanly. I'm a little particular about my clothes but work so many hours a week that finding time to do laundry and have time to myself gets really tough. I found out about the app from a friend and it's really easy to use, their drivers who come to pick up are very friendly, and the clothes came back perfect. Much better than any local wash & fold service in the area and the convenience is worth it. Also the box of chocolates they give you is a nice gesture! read more

Cleanly has always provided quality service with my dry cleaning and laundry. They are normally quick and efficient, and my clothes always come back nicely folded and clean. I had a friendly concierge come pick up my items this morning who was such a delight! read more

I used cleanly once and was very pleased with the level of service. The valet who picked up the clothes was the same one who returned them and he was very kind and polite. I like the garment/laundry bag and the chocolates were a nice touch. I'm not sure if fabric softener was used in the wash/fold, if it was I couldn't tell. I prefer fabric softener but that's just me and I wish it was an option. As for the hanging laundry it was OK. One of the shirts came back more wrinkled than I expected. My sweater took an extra day because they said it was not cleaned to their standards which is odd because it wasn't dirty, I just like them to be fresh, I had worn it twice. One of the shirts either came back with stains (the look like light grease stains) or they were on there and I didn't notice. Either way, they should have been addressed. I may use the service again, I am a little on the fence. If you are not super particular about your laundry then I would say it's the perfect service. If you are a little more particular it may be best to do your own laundry. For pure convenience it is a great service, maybe a little fine tuning to make it a stellar service. read more

I want to write a nasty review, but they did resolve my issue... (even though it was quite the hassle for me.) They lost my bath towels... no biggie. I figured I would just email them and let them know, and they would just make a separate trip to drop them off once they were aware they lost them. Wrong. They require 7 days to find (why not just go back to where the order was filled and look there?) lost items. I had put everyone of my bath towels in there, meaning I had nothing to dry myself with after a shower. I know it's not the end of the world, but still a pretty big annoyance and something I didn't expect to happen when sending them all my laundry. On the 8th day of them looking for my towels, they finally found them. They said they'd be delivered between 7 and 8. I pushed back the time of an obligation I had to stay home and wait. But, they never came and I had to leave at 8, so I left. I was only five minutes down the street when they called and said they were there (15 mins late). I apologized and said I HAD to be somewhere and since they were late, I left - but I can be back at my door in five minutes. The delivery guy gave me the biggest attitude as if he couldn't wait just five minutes (when HE was late.) To avoid losing my towels AGAIN, I sprinted back to my apartment and met him. He shoved the towels and me and walked away. So rude. I didn't necessarily mind they were late, it ended up working out fine, but his attitude soured an already frustrating situation. Not only did Cleanly lose my towels, it took them 8 days to find them, the delivery guy was late and then got mad at me for having to maintain my personal obligations instead of sitting inside waiting for a LATE delivery guy. My clothes (and late towels) did arrive clean, folded nicely, and smelling good. Cleanly customer service also responded in a timely manner and did solve my problem. (Although it just shouldn't have happened in the first place, or been resolved much quicker.) I'd recommend using this service at your own risk because if there are no hiccups in your order, the service is convenient and helpful. read more

Cleanly lost my entire bag of hang dry clothes ($350 worth of bras). Now I'm left having to replace these at my cost. Cleanly takes absolutely minimal responsibility for items they lose. They offer 10x the cost to launder the item. In this case, $350 of lost items equals about $7. Using Cleanly was one of the worst decisions I've made. read more
