Had an absolutely incredible experience here - everyone from start to finish was amazing!! I had 2 dresses I needed tailored (and had been told by other tailors they were too complicated). The tailor had no issues whatsoever and I got both dresses back within 2 days - couldn't tell anything was done they are AMAZING. Super high quality service!!!! Highly recommend!! read more

They are the best in the town! Steven and the team are truly so accommodating. My clothes are always coming back in tip top shape And they accommodate, I couldn't come pick up for three weeks and they were so nice about it. Return customer , even if it's far out for me! read more

I got my Burberry wool coat dry-cleaned here. This was the second time in years since I first came here to get that wool coat dry-cleaned. The service was great as usual. The price increased slightly, but overall I'm satisfied since my coat was nicely cleaned of lint. They texted me a few hours before the time they gave me on my ticket that my coat was ready. Communication here is also pretty good. Parking is convenient even though the location is on a main road. I parked my car, went inside for a few minutes to drop off my coat, and came out quickly so I didn't pay for the meter. I would definitely come back if I need any dry cleaning done. read more

Such a kind and amazing staff! Tailoring is so expensive and they provide pretty reasonable prices for their services. They will definitely see me back:) read more

Been here three times. They have removed a stain from my shorts that two other places failed to do. Amzing.

Couldn't speak more highly of this spot. My go-to. When I say they can remove virtually any stain, I mean it. And I've given them some daunting challenges -- bike grease, cooking grease, red wine, chocolate, grass stains, ACRYLIC PAINT, tbh even blood. All of it has come out. Tailoring is prompt and well-executed. I only had one issue where an inseam was done sloppily and Albert and team were more than happy to make it right. So glad Sammy is in the neighborhood. read more

Their delivery driver was 15 minutes late even though they were fully aware that there would be no one to receive a giant order of clothes. Luckily I was around the corner, but when I informed their team that this was unprofessional because we agreed things would be delivered on that day. They tried to shame me for communicating to the driver that it was not ok to brush off my concern that I really needed these items for the week ahead. It is absolutely not ok to chastise a customer of many years because your own driver refuses to acquire a basic skill of time management. You can find someone who will respect you and your money better. read more

Used their dry cleaning services for 3 years. Used to really like them and referred several friends to them. delivery was delayed without communication the last few times... I would contact them the day I originally expected delivery and they would tell me it wasn't ready. Then they damaged a new $1400 dress and all they offered was a refund on the dry cleaning ($18 -- which I also never received) and 20% off my next order read more

Well so the saga continues with this place. My altered pants were altered incorrectly. And they're shorter than requested! Dropped off a pair of pants to be altered over the holiday season and decided to wear them for the first time today. When I picked it up, it was not hemmed at all before being drycleaned which defeats the purpose of cleaning (see previous review). read more

I needed a long dress hemmed and the bottom had lace on it, which I knew would cost extra so I didn't ask for them to keep it. Not only did Harold do an incredible job hemming the dress, he kept the lace and sewed it to the bottom for free. I was so happy! Sammy Cleaners is the best!! read more

I'm really happy about my service here. I've had a Canada Goose coat for 6 years and they were able to clean it thoroughly and carefully. Also my trench coat was a mess from hairspray spilling in my luggage during a work trip. Absolute perfect condition again. Really happy I found this place! Definitely reliable and quick. Will be taking my dry cleaning here regularly :)) read more

Sammy Cleaners - My coats after being cleaned - Dry Cleaning Near Me - Brooklyn, New York

We had tried multiple cleaners and Sammy is the best by far. Albert is super courteous and friendly. He usually notified us via text once He drops off our dry cleaned. Their prices are very competitive and they are reliable and fast. Pick and delivery! Come on, what else can you ask for.. give them a call and try them, you soon the disappointed. read more

This place is the real deal. Colleen and the rest of the crew are incredibly kind and hard working people. There was a snag with my order where a stand in tailor messed up two items (one of the regular tailors had an emergency, unfortunately). They not only are fixing it but have made the decision not to charge me whatsoever for the mishap. This included many more items than the two that were messed up. Also, I want to add, as a TGNC plus size person, it's really difficult to feel safe and secure getting fitted with a tailor. These folks have made me feel entirely comfortable and for that I am really grateful. So pear shaped gender non-conforming people - this is your spot. read more

Great service my wedding dress was pure white after getting it dry cleaned and they are so friendly!!

This place lost my favorite Pucci shirt, an italian silk suit, messed up several times including not returning a fur coat they said they could reline for me for about three months. They repeatedly claimed pandemic staffing issues. That times were tough. Albert cried that it was the toughest two years of his life. They lost about $3000 of clothing that I cannot replace. He told me over the phone that he would replace it through his insurance company and referred me to his lawyer. After calling the lawyer 4x i was told that Albert would only reimburse 10x the cleaning amount which would be $88. They are a bunch of crooks who steal your clothes if they're nice. Don't ever leave designer goods here that can't be replaced. They will steal them and claim that they never received them. Or they will accuse the concierge in your building of stealing them. I am so regretful that I chose a small business like this and hope that none of you do the same. read more

Great new addition to the neighborhood, my now go to dry cleaners! And I've also had a few items tailored here as well and have turned out great. read more

I'm getting married next month and got my reception dress tailored here. The service was excellent, they were very responsive via text and the tailoring was wonderful. I can't wait to wear my dress! read more

I knew my schedule was tight to have a dress altered for a wedding this weekend. I took a chance and texted Sammys with a photo of the dress and my schedule. They quickly responded that they would have it for me within 3 days if I were able to stop by that day. So glad I did. The owner is incredibly friendly and professional. The staff, lovely. And the seamstress... talented. The dress looks beautiful and the whole experience was so stress free! Lucky to have found this place. They truly care about their customers and it shows. The place feels special. You will not be disappointed! read more

I don't normally leave reviews, but I found this spot on Yelp and I am BLOWN AWAY by the PERSONAL service that Sammy Cleaners gave me. I had a vintage coat that I brought in that needed extra TLC, the owner saw to it that my coat was done right and went the extra mile. He just personally delivered the coat and my coat looks BRAND NEW. I am stunned. The service and quality is 10 stars across the board. I'm leaving my old go-to spot that was going down in quality- Sammy Cleaners has now won my loyalty. If you have items that you care about - go to Sammy Cleaners - it is a family business and they truly care. Trust me. It shows in the work they do. Thanks, guys! read more

Awful experience at Sammy Cleaners. They completely destroyed my terry cloth shirt which I asked them to wash. Instead they ironed it and destroyed it. When I went back to try to ask for assistance or remuneration they were incredibly rude. Do not use this vendor. Simply awful. read more

Super friendly staff. Got my bridesmaid dress tailored here and it was perfect. Highly recommend.

New spot but seems consistent and reliable. Owner is friendly and keeps snacks for your doggo

This place is great. They finished faster than they estimated, charged less than they said, and did a better job than I anticipated. You can barely even tell the pants/jacket they patched for me weren't new. I literally just downloaded yelp and created an account so I could write this. read more

Fast and very friendly. They usually text when your clothes are ready which is super helpful!

Excellent customer service. They deliver fantastically clean clothes. Albert, owner, is prompt in his responses and takes personal care with each customer. Can't recommend enough. read more

I dropped off a large order here and was really happy with the full service, which was friendly and professional the whole way. One item in particular (a satin-like baseball jacket) somehow looks better now than it did when it was new because it was so flawlessly pressed. The owner delivered the order personally and couldn't have been classier, and also they beat the time estimate they gave me. I checked around prices for other nearby cleaners and they seem to be around the middle of the pack, which I guess is what you want. I do a lot of dry cleaning (so lazy) and this will be my new spot. read more

Amazing job on my Giants jersey! On time! Once you enter everyone is friendly and pleasant

High value item got completely destroyed - owner will act hostile if you confront them.

Not one to post a review but MY GOD ROY IS AWESOME!! Such a sweet man and great great service. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

So happy I stumbled on this place! I had a tear in my fave pair of jeans that I didn't think would be fixable. They managed to repair it quickly and at a very reasonable rate. Also love how I can text them a photo of the garment to get an estimate prior to coming in. Super friendly staff as well! I will certainly come back for their services!! read more

Incredible pick-up and delivery service! It was my first time and I will be using them again. I felt taken care of from the moment they came to pick-up my laundry. Laundry was returned promptly and smelt fresh. AND nothing shrunk! 5 stars all the way around! read more

I dropped off a top that had been sitting in a ball since pre-covid. It came back perfect and he even made sure to include the new customer discount even though I did not know about it! read more

I noticed this dry cleaners opened up by the Nassau Ave G station, so I decided to drop off a few shirts this weekend to try it out, as I've had a few rough experiences with the one closer to my apartment. The inside is modern and clean, and the owner was really friendly. Good addition to the area! read more
