Going to Clean Threads is not just "going to do my laundry," but an experience. The place is immaculately clean, and there is no waiting for machines to open as there are plenty, there is always a friendly staff member to help, and the machines are incredible. I have never had my clothes so clean. And fast---my clothes are washed in 25-30 minutes and dried in under 20. Be sure to talk to staff about the drying points earned for free time on the dryer. Lots of folding tables make the job easier. There is a picnic table for children to play provided games, as well as a free pinball machine. Donuts are available on Sat and Sundays courtesy of charming and friendly Howard, one of the owners. (His wife is the other and I have not had the opportunity to meet her.) Like I said, this isn't washing clothes, this is an experience! read more

I had to go to a laundromat when my washer broke. Clean Threads Laundry is amazing! The washers and dryers are clean and well maintained, as is the facility itself. They have an attendant on-site and she was really helpful. They also have plenty of rolling baskets for use. Bathroom was very clean as well. Also liked that they have a pinball machine and play is free. read more

Honestly the best laundry mat I've ever been to. Clean and orderly but the staff is very helpful. Howard who i think is the manager honestly does a great job running things and is always extremely friendly and helpful read more

Went today for my first time due to broken washing machine, the minute I walk in I am greeted immediately and asked if I need help , I say I've never been here before, and with that response the owner announced we have a first timer and squeezed the squeaky pig , I must admit it caught me completely off guard especially at a laundromat but it also made my bad day a fun one . Anyway he explained all the machines looked at how much laundry I had ,which I thought was a lot but he said no I only needed to use one machine and it was the small machine that's also their cheapest machine. I will definitely recommend this business to my friends read more

My washer broke down and found this nice, clean and friendly location. Had such an easy experience. I'm probably going to do laundry here again instead of fixing my washing machine. read more

Can I leave 10 stars! This place is amazing! The owner personally helped me carry loads out to the car after I washed all my kids' laundry after sleep over camp. My kids didn't want to leave because they were having so much fun hanging out. Clean Threads is it's own destination as much as it is an awesome laundromat! read more

Clean place with friendly staff on site. They're constantly cleaning to maintain the place and are easily available at the front for assistance. Bathroom on the premises is clean too and the machines are clean. The neighborhood looks decent compared to most places I've washed clothes in. I used coins to pay for my load as the Laundry Pay option they have is a horrible app from the reviews. I'd suggest they change platform to PayRange is they want to improve their overall service. Other than that, 5 stars. read more

Best laundromat ever! The machines are super clean and work very well. Thank you to the ladies on staff today that asked me if I needed help. They were able to guide me on which machine would fit my San Marcos blanket the best. You can use quarters or an app to pay for your loads. Theres a QR code on every machine. read more

I never thought I would review a laundry mat but Howard deserves the review. He has made the environment of this place actually enjoyable to do a chore I despise . This facility is clean, friendly, and he makes me feel safe, which as a female often doing laundry alone, can be a concern. I always bring my AirPods but end up chatting with the friendly staff. They have great amenities wifi, pay thru the app, bathrooms, sinks with soap and water, fans to keep it cool and now music too! Howard, his son and wife make this place truly nice and absolutely deserve your business! They'll take care of you- I have no doubts! Thank you Howard & family :) read more

AMAZING! CLEAN! NICE! HELPFUL! This was the first time in 40 years I had to go to a laundromat. Needed to wash my comforter. My washer not big enough. I was shocked by the cost just to wash it ($5.50). However, putting that aside, the place was so clean, machines great and the gal that was behind the counter was THE NICEST and KINDEST PERSON (Lyn). She helped me with the detergent and all the necessities of what to do. It made my experience so nice. I will definitely go back again should the need arise. Thank you Lyn. read more

I needed to wash my comforter since my washing machine isn't large enough. I was greeted by the new owner Howard with such hospitality and a friendly face. He guided me to the right size washer and helped me from start to finish. He is so kind and a pleasure to talk to! He's a retired firefighter/EMT and a great soul. I love supporting family owned businesses and this one I'll always support! Great machines and very time efficient. I look forward to coming back! Thanks Howard!! read more

Clean Threads Laundry - Laundromat Near Me - Simi Valley, California

clean snob rating I've been living in LA 4 years now (still do) and since, I've tried SEVERAL laundromats (near and far). This is officially the FURTHEST I've EVER driven just to wash clothes! (15 miles, approx 25min 0 traffic on a Sunday morning) WORTH IT!!!! This place is soooo clean! and soooo polite! and attentive! They introduce themselves.. so polite They ask if you are familiar with the machines.. so great! They even offer to teach you if you've never done your own laundry before. No foul odors. No detergents splashes. No powder detergent caked machines! Also they actually have hot water when you use the hot feature. (I can name 3 establishments currently ripping people off with the up-charge while water still runs cold) You can not make clean in a dirty environment! It does not make sense! Overall this place is brilliant. All your laundry hangups are simply vanquished at Clean Threads Laundry. read more

Wow this place is great! I had to go on an emergency visit as our washing maschine broke unexpectedly. What a nice laundromat I stumbled into! And the service was unbelievable! The owner couldn't have been more helpful every step of the way. It was such a pleasant experience that I am planning to return to do drop off rugs and comforters for their washing service! I love love love this place! It is my guilty pleasure to not have to do laundry! I can bring it in in it's basket and come back a few hours later and it's done!! All I have to do is put it away! It's worth every penny to do this after working a long week. They couldn't be nicer and I am so happy I found this service! read more

I gave them brand new black shirt and they washed it with white or other color clothes . When I called I spoke to someone with Spanish accent and she was like so what do you want me to do ? Basically go f yourself attitude . She said I never told them not to wash together. I figured that doesn't need to be said but I guess they wash darks and whites in same load unless you tell them not to. I said I'm going to come speak with your manager or boss she laughed and he's never here . So I'm not sure what kind of boss never goes to his business like it's money laundering or whatever . She was super rude . I would not recommend their wash and fold service ! read more

My washer died on me and won't be fixed for 3 weeks, which is not good news for someone who does laundry everyday. The first place I tried was near my work, but it was SUPER sketchy and was filthy. My second try lead me here which was 100% a better experience! Super clean from top to bottom, great washer and dryers, well lit (I cane in the evening) and the husband and wife owners were both on site which I appreciated. I will definitely be coming back over the next few weeks and anytime in the future when needed! read more

The owners of this place are extremely nice like everyone else is saying in the reviews. I wanted to make sure to let it be known that their service is amazing and I will definitely be going back. Great place! Our dryer caught on fire, so we had to find a laundry mat.. It's been years since we've used a laundry mat. What a great experience! We were walking in, and the owner came out and helped me carry my laundry basket in. We were greeted and announced we were newbies to the place and everyone welcomed us. He took us to the machines and explained how to work them and went over everything with us, which was so helpful and very much appreciated. The place was SO clean!!! They take pride in their laundry mat and it shows! I loved that they have an app you can use to pay and add time. The app even tells you how mach time is remaining, which is convenient if you don't want to stay inside and wait. We went early morning and were offered free donuts. Staff was so helpful and all super nice! Prices are very reasonable for the machines, laundry soap, and dryer sheets. Honestly.. hands down, they have gained 2 loyal customers today.. thank you!!! read more
