Igot a build your own medium bowl with brown rice, breaded chicken, zucchini, honey roasted carrots, green bell peppers, and broccoli. I got the teriyaki sauce but they accidentally swapped my friends and I's sauce so in the picture is their epic sauce. The epic sauce was a mix of honey mustard and barbecue sauce. What I ordered: I got a small salmon bowl with red onion, edamame, black bean, a quinoa base, and cilantro lime sauce. The cilantro lime sauce had great flavor! Even though I got a small, it was very filling! There are so many options for bases and toppings! One thing I loved about clean eats was that so many drink options came with the meal! My kids and I arrived at 6:40 p.m. and halfway through our order, Clean Eatz said they could not take our order because their kitchen was closed. If you close your kitchen at 6:30 p.m., then don't advertise that you're open until 7 p.m.! Finally made it to Clean Eatz nearly a month after it opened! Since I've been sticking to natural foods in the last year, I was very excited about this place, as were several people in the area. I know this is not the first place of its kind (in the area), but its sure the first to fully advertise about its healthy, non-GMO, non-refined menu. For those that don't know, Clean Eatz is a franchised restaurant that started in North Carolina and is expanding around the United States. Ironically, the founders are from Edwardsville. On my first visit, I was greeted with friendly service and I just stood at the menu for almost five minutes, deciding. Tough decisions! The counter people were helpful and I finally ordered a large bowl with quinoa, shrimp, buffalo sauce, onions, black beans and corn. You can choose to have it hot or cold. This is probably the first place I've ever been to where drinks are complimentary. Gotta love it! They have tea, water and other healthy drinks available. I can't wait to try plenty of other items on their menu, including their healthy nachos (made from sweet potatoes), burgers, tacos, wraps, list goes on and on! Clean Eatz is a welcome addition to the Edwardsville community, as it sits in the place where Pizza Hut once stood for many years. I know they will be around for a long time. Prices are a bit high but they food is absolutely dog sh*t. Ordered a bison bowl. Bison was burnt and dry. The onions and bell peppers were in huge chunks. One side burnt the other completely uncooked. The only thing that tasted good was the store bought banana peppers. I had really high hopes for my first time here, but I left pretty disappointed. I ordered a bowl with sweet potatoes as the base, I was expecting crisp and tender cubes of roasted sweet potatoes but instead I got wet, boiled and barely cooked sweet potatoes that were the size of hockey pucks. The meal plans are awesome! I am a grad student and also work 50-60 hours a week. I love food but did not have the time to make it. I started to gain weight. Then I found clean eatz and learned about their meal plan program. My life has completely changed since I started using the meal plans. I feel so much healthier. I have lost weight. I look forward to the meals and the new menu every week. I like the variety that I get to choose from. Overall, I cannot say enough good things about the meal plan. The people who work there are also very pleasant and kind. read more

You cant have a name like "Clean Eatz" and then have artificial flavors, soy, preservatives etc. At the very least have a separate "light sin menu", don't lump this crap all together. A previous yelper wrote that it was good to have a place with non-gmo or processed meals. Thats simply not true, you assume that from the name, which really grinds my gears. I pray for this restaurant to fail, so that other fake "clean eatz" type places don't open up and fool the public. Its amazing the amount of fraudulent advertising that is allowed without anyone ever asking questions. While this is infinitely healthier than McDonalds its still a massive failure on so many levels. They do a decent job of having low prices and listing the calories. If you are a gym bro looking for macros with few alternative places to go, then this place might ok for you. Thats where it stops though, take one look at the smoothie menu and you'll see what Im talking about. I love Clean Eatz. I started using their meal plan (which is SO affordable) by the time you figure eating out cost and all the calories consumed with that! They always switch up the meals week to week so you don't get bored. Even my picky husband enjoys their meals! Perfectly filling and the flavor is great on most meals! Only a few I don't care for but that's to be expected with different tastes! Do yourself a favor and checkout their prepped meals (they have a freezer there where you can just try a few) You won't be disappointed. read more

As a vegetarian/pescatarian I was really excited to eat here. The menu looked really good, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. But the food was lacking! Somehow the Beyond Burger tasted bland and was undercooked. How do you mess up a Beyond Burger? Also the veggies were undercooked. The "Buffalo Cauliflower" was just half cooked cauliflower dipped in a sauce. I'm happy to have a healthy restaurant in the area, but sadly I was disappointed by the taste. read more

First time patron today. I had the Grecian steak wrap with a side of slaw (superfood slaw?) and a large glass of green tea. Paid about $8 for it. Service was very fast, the place was very clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and courteous. The meal was both delicious and filling. This is one of those restaurants that you wanna put -1937472947 stars on. From the potent smell of sewer as you walked in the doors, to the slimy, soggy spinach on my sandwich, you know this restaurant is a real winner. NOT! With the seasonings and sriracha on the table, you'd think you have everything. But the one thing they don't offer, unfortunately, is fly swatters at each table for all the flies flying onto your bland food. Now, you had very limited options for sides. I decided to get yogurt. That is where I went WRONGG!! This yogurt tasted like a candle and was extremely chunky. I wasted my calories on this meal. As a wise wise person once said, "I'm used to flavor!"
