When I finally got it back, the very next day the car was hesitating to start and warning lights were coming on again. I returned it once more, and they said they replaced a hose. Two weeks later -- the check engine light came on again. When I told Carla that I would not continue making payments until the car was properly fixed, she became upset instead of trying to help. I asked if we could work something out to get me into a different vehicle, and I was told, "This would happen to any of the cars on our lot." That response alone says everything. Today I went to the dealership just to retrieve some personal belongings from my car and saw "REPO" written on the side. This was shocking, as I personally drove the car there, it was never repossessed, and I was never notified of anything related to a repo. When I started having problems with the car I was told "this never happened," This dealership has been dishonest, unprofessional, and dismissive throughout this entire ordeal. I contacted a few sales reps, negotiated over email and text, and they dropped the vehicle off at my house. Now, if you're doing it this way, the back-and-forth can get a little tricky to manage--especially as you're sending quotes from other dealerships--but the sales reps at Misquite Kia were quick and easy to work with. They were willing to entertain and negotiate with other offers and, most importantly, to accommodate me by dropping the vehicle off at my house. I sure as hell wouldn't be spending an entire day at any dealership, frankly. In summary, if you're thinking about buying a Kia, these people are solid (not incompetent like you may have experienced at some other dealers). You must be willing to negotiate (as you would with any dealer), but if you do it over the air (as I did), the process will go much more smoothly, and you will end up paying a reasonable price for a vehicle.
