Clean salon and pretty. The man that walks around annoys the hella out of me and that's one of the two reasons I won't be back. I don't think their work is worth 25.00 for a pedicure. Just moving from L.A I've gone to "up scale" salons and paid 28.00 for a pedicure. What really turned me off is the man that walks around and his crappy attitude. I think they should take a look at their yelp reviews and see what they can improve read more

I came in to get a gel manicure. I'm not sure what her name was, but she's stumpier one of the ladies there. Extremely poor attention to detail. I had to tell her to fix it 6 times and finally gave up and asked for a discount in the front. The gel color is all smeared, layers don't go all the way to the bottom so you can see an overlap , and there's lint in the nails . My nails look disgusting , I've honestly never been so upset at a nail salon. I strongly do not recommend coming here. read more

I come here all the time. Pretty consistent, lovely staff. Usually a good mani pedi, although some polishes tend to chip after about a week and a half - even the gels. But only sometimes. I like it because the space is large, usually can fit you in without an appointment. Relaxing and casual. read more

They add things that can cause Allergic reaction to your nails. I started to get bumps on my fingers Don't recommend going there.

They are honestly just okay when it come to there work, I prefer la Bella over them which is around the corner and down the street. But I have noticed that they sweep the nail salon and dump the trash in the parking stops outside instead of walking 5 more feet to the trash can one door down. So all those plastic nail tips are littered out front their business which is pretty gross not to mention bad for our environment. read more

As a male this was my first pedicure, they were glaring at my nails and you could tell they were talking about my nails in their language. As the workers walked past me they stared at my nails and said stuff to the lady doing my nails. Never come here read more

Workers were nice but not mindful of customer time. Anyone who walked in they would tell "five minutes", and then would make them sit around. Trapping them by soaking in a foot spa or sitting at a nail station. I was very lucky when I walked in without an appointment, (I'm visiting from out of town) and I was taken right away. I simply watched the backup unfold. My pedicure seems fine. My gel manicure peeled off the same day. Was it bad quality Gel or improper application? Bottom line I painted my own nails the next day. Oh well. Never again. read more

Classy Nails - These are my nails that I painted myself the day after I got a gel manicure that peeled away... - Nail Salons Near Me - El Cerrito, California

I personal have had a wonderful time going to this salon 2x to get my nail done. Got a full set the first time lasted me a month no cracks no breaks and no letting of the nails. I just went back yesterday and got a fill both time the manger the guy did my nails and did them so nicely . I have always paid about 35-45 dollars to get my nails done so I wasn't surprised when it was 45 for a full set with Manicure and gel. The second time my fill with gel was 35. It's a nicely light and a clean Salon. I hope they have been reading the reviews and have started to make some changes. Hence why I'm so happy with my nails. read more

Classy Nails - Full set with gel and Manicure - Nail Salons Near Me - El Cerrito, California

HORRIBLE service !!!! Terrible quality. Came in for full set acrylic powder. I should've known when they asked me 3 times which gel color. But I sat down. Another red flag was I requested straight nails and she wouldn't stop asking me what shape I wanted.. ? And the length was way shorter than I showed her. So Literally felt like I was being used as guinea pig until a different lady took over and attempted. They were coming out so bad and she took 5 minutes no exaggeration on ONE and it came out so chunky and deformed. At this point I'm upset and told her forget it. She grabs my hand and starts clipping off my nails off for me instantly.. now my hands look disgusting. I'm so mad. I'm a mommy of two and my time is of the essence now I have no time until maybe next week hopefully to fix this disaster. read more

They do not care about detail and only want you in and out . I left my mom there for a Mani pedi, As well as Gel nails. They did not do the mani pedi how they usually do (no cleaning the feet or hands) the "Nail tech" did not know what she was doing and kept looking over to the others to see how to do it . The corner of the nails did not have paint on it- They cut my mothers finger and made it bleed . If the work AT LEAST had detail , It would be ok . But they just rushed it , almost $100 wasted . read more

I got a pedicure and a manicure yesterday and ended up loving it! For my manicure they took so much time and effort and redid it until I was pleased with the color of my nails. This morning I ended up scratching one of my nails and it was bothering me to the point where I needed to go back to get it fixed. I went back and they were able to fix my scratched nail. Overall they did such an amazing job and I do feel as though they deserve a full 5- star review. I will definitely be coming back for more! Love this place! read more

Stopped in after another place was full, they had a few people in the chairs, but because they have so many we were able to soak for a little and enjoy the massage chair. This place sucks. I had an appointment I arrived on time, they soaked my feet and forgot about me. I was sitting in that chair for over 40 minutes. The owner Chinese/Vietnamese guy who was welcoming other customers told everyone to wait 10 min/15 min (He told me the same too) When I asked him how long I have to wait he responded with a mad and rude tone. Also pls make sure you ask the price before service. Although I asked the price for my mani/pedi two staff quoted me different prices. When I got the bill the owner charged me a different price which was higher then the others. I advised him that this was not the price quoted by his staff earlier. This seemed to upset this guy and he started to become very argumentative. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

This place should be closed down.. omg. I should've trusted my gut feeling and waited. Came in on June 10th to ask what the wait was for a full set and was told 30 min... so I went back 30 min later and I was sat down. Now here is where I should've just left. I was sitting in that chair for about 30/35 minutes cause the head honcho guy kept looking around and going from customer to customer. It took forever to get my nails done. Literally. After him going from customer to customer and racially profiling a couple he was just about done. He painted my nails and then walked away... so I started to put the top coat on my self smh he then comes back and tells me "I have to do it" it looked better when I was doing it. Anywhooooo... 30 min after leaving the place I noticed one nail was already cracking and now two days later 4 have cracks. DO NOT GO HERE! Update: June 14th and three nails have started to crack off. Smh I have never had to cut them off myself from such a horrible nail job. They're wasn't even an option to save them since the cracking were so fkn deep. Smh. DO NOT GO HERE! THEY RUSH YOU AND DONT EVEN PUT THE TIME AND EFFORT FOR LONG LASTING RESULTS. read more

Lol. If you want to pay someone to beat you up and mess up your cuticles come here! By far can't even be upset by the experience, plenty of jokes that came from it with my family. Upon further inspection on the s#!t job they did, honestly don't come here. As stated before I came here with my family and all 3 of us got horrible results. Calluses, cuts/blood, broken nails, and uneven (later that evening self soaked off) paint jobs. Nails are paper thin and had to cut them down to nubs because they keep breaking. read more

I was in a hurry to fix my nail so I walked in this salon. The owner did okay job for the acrylic part but failed to put on gel. It is understandable that he is on the business side and not necessarily good at tech details. However, it was then switched to two girls. First of all, they have extremely rude attitude and rushed through the work because lunch is calling. Most importantly, after two days, two nail chipped and gel started pealing, which has never happened to me before. I put down my tips but will NEVER return. read more

This nail shop is catfish , I waited just to be rushed while in chair , I paid for gel polish and fill just for it to look like the polish in kids makeup . Barely adequate. I won't go back. I went with a friend who had made a reservation for 2 pedicures at 9:30. We were set up in chairs and foot baths, which we repeatedly said weren't warm enough, and never were. The nail stylists didn't arrive for 10-15 minutes. My feet didn't need a lot of work but I pointed out a small callus I particularly wanted worked on. She noticed where I had other small calluses and asked if I wanted a callus treatment for $5 more. I said ok, but didn't feel I got anything more than is typical for a pedicure. What really disappointed me was that she massaged only the front of my legs, not the back and not my feet! I think she was offering me a longer massage for more money (there were signs on the wall about extra 10 minute massage for $8), but there was a language barrier. I finally pointed to my feet and she massaged them for maybe a minute each. Fortunately, they didn't try to charge me extra for the massage. Also, I prefer salons that have plastic liners in the baths for sanitation, even though In other areas of my life I try not to use disposable plastic. I wasn't there long enough to see how they disinfect the baths, though I noticed a disinfection log book at the cashier as I was checking out--I opened it and only the first page, which just listed yesterday and today's dates, and didn't inspire confidence. read more

I went to classy nails because one of my friends recommended this place to me. I got a full set, which was reasonably priced ($25). I asked for a coffin shape and my nails were left uneven. Not only was I not satisfied with the shape, but the polish was also really sloppy. Even though my technician was nice (only reason I'm giving classy nails ANY stars), the job was really rushed. Overall I'm unhappy with my nails and I won't be returning to classy nails. read more

DO NOT BUY THIS GROUPON! REPEAT DO NOT BUY THIS GROUPON! ...actually, you may just want to skip this shop all together. My husband woke up this morning and said "Hey, want to go get pedicures for your birthday?" Uh...yea! So, I head over to Groupon to see if we can find a good deal on there considering we are new to the area and I'm looking for a new shop. I found the deal for Classy Nails offering $16 pedicures with Paraffin wax. That seemed like a decent deal, so my husband bought two...one for him and one to use as a gift for me. I see on the Groupon that you need to book an appointment, so I call and speak with a gentleman who tells us to come down now. We get there and I tell him that I just made the appointments a few minutes ago. After waiting about 5 minutes, we were both seated and embarking on our pedi journey. The place looks clean and they have really cute blue and white massage spa chairs. The problem is, they don't let you control them, so when they shut off after 5 minutes, you're pretty much screwed. The woman working on my feet was nice enough, but she seemed to not care much about the pampering aspect of it. The massage lasted all of 1 minute and felt like she clearly wasn't too interested. I looked over at my husband and noticed the same lackadaisical massage on his legs too. Then his pedi lady asks him if he wants to pay $8 more for 10 more minutes. Uh, no! Then all of a sudden, they are painting our nails, WITHOUT doing the paraffin wax treatment. When I said something about it, I kid you not, everyone acted like they didn't understand English! Whatever, just stop. Because I am getting a French pedicure, my husband was finished before me. So, he went to use the restroom. All of a sudden, his nail tech looks at me terrified and asks if my husband left without paying. WTF? Uh, yea...he just took off and left his wife here...riiiiiight. After this nightmare is over, we walk up to the counter and show the man the Groupon app. But, for some reason, its only showing 1 voucher. The issue is clearly Groupon's so we ask if we can pay the $16 rate for my nails. He starts acting like he doesn't speak English again and starts getting crazy telling me that I need to pay full price, $22, plus $5 for french. At this point, I was done. Just pay the man for his WAY overpriced, incomplete pedicure and get the f*ck out. They clearly don't want people to use their Groupons. ...Thanks for messing up my birthday.. read more

Do not get a pedicure here I got one and literally two weeks later I got a fungus. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst nail salon experiences I've ever had. First, I made an appointment for a mani pedi online (which was confirmed by the system) and Classy Nails called to say that time was no longer available. They told me to come at another time that day instead. When I got to the salon, it was PACKED and I had to wait 30 minutes to be seen, despite having an appointment. They did my pedicure first, then, I had to wait 20 minutes more for my gel manicure to begin. This was an awful experience. The man doing the manicure got up about every 2 minutes to answer the phone or deal with a customer at the register. The salon kept getting more and more packed with a long line of people waiting to be seen. The whole vibe was very stressful. The price was just as expensive as really quality places, and the worst part is one of my gels has already come off 3 days later! Such a disappointing experience. read more

Although the finished product looks good I can't believe they charged me $37 for a gel pedicure. It is not advertised anywhere on their board the cost of a pedicure and the woman wasn't even going to tell me how much she was going to put on my card before running it. They charge $25 for manicure and spa pedicure so not sure how they can justify for a gel pedicure. If you don't mind the price tag and the woman writing fake numbers down on a pad of paper to try and explain it, then it is a pretty good pedicure. read more

I would give this place zero stars if possible. On top of getting a mediocre mani pedi yesterday, I was hassled for trying to pay with a credit card. I paid with one that I don't use very often. Flash forward to this afternoon. The fraud dept from my CC company calls to let me know they've flagged over $400 in fraudulent charges. Everything was local, so a server hack is unlikely. All in all, very VERY suspicious. I would avoid this place if you can. If you can't, pay CASH. Definitely don't use the sketch ATM they have by the door. Don't pay with a card, period. How UN-classy, Classy Nails. read more

I wish I could give ZERO... This place appears clean and inviting BUT the guy THAT greets you at the front is beyond RUDE and unwelcoming. He had poor customer service skills. Oh and don't dare buy a Groupon -- you'll be treated like you disgust them and they'll claim there are no available appointments for weeeeks. I'm tired of these so called nailed salons treating patrons poorly UNTIL you "qualify" with them. You don't qualify until you tip well, allow multiple add on services to increase your bill, ask them no questions at all and NEVER protest and/or they figure out if you are college educated and employed. If they THINK you have status you are treated like royalty. If you are perceived as BROKE you will be treated as such. AVOID THE PLACE read more

My female friend went here. She complained It was worst place ever she has been ever and giving her company even I think same. The person there soaked her feet for over 40 minutes refusing to give her towels to dry her feet even after she requested for it few times. Also the quality of service was very poor and the owner was arrogant. The towels were not so clean. I would definitely warn all the delicate ladies to remain away from him. Only if you don't care about your feet and hands and skin go there. read more

Save your money. My cat can paint my nails better than their staff. Everything was rushed. The place was short staffed so instead of asking people to wait, they just kept seating them and rushing through. My pedicurist ripped the skin off a blister from the hot towel. The manicurist sucked... There are no words, everything he did to my hands sucked. He couldn't even paint my nails and got nail polish all over my cuticles. I feel robbed. Classy nails is ok if you're looking for something quick or in a bind. The people are super friendly and very accommodating. So accommodating that it looks as though they won't turn anyone away as long as you're willing to wait. Came here for the first time with Sissypoo for a mani/pedi and we came at the right time. 10 minutes after sitting down there was a mad rush.
