The place I usually go to for my nails was closed so I had decided to try this place out. I called 2 hours before I went in & on the phone the woman had told me that they only take walk-ins, but when I get there, there are several people who said they had made an appointment prior to arrival. I waited an hour before I was able to get my set. I wanted plain acrylic no color no nothing & I got them fairly short. The lady who was doing my nails had placed the acrylic on my cuticle causing it to lift not even a full week after I got them! I paid damn near $50 for a PLAIN SHORT set. Although the salon is so beautifully decorated, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone unless you don't want your set to last that long & are willing to wait an hour or more for anything. read more

I made an appointment here and still waited 30 minutes until I sat down. Literally after a day the dip powder chipped, cracked, and nails fell off. I used to come here all the time and never had an experience like this before. Completely went downhill. read more

Giving one star because they do a good job waxing brows. However, I've been twice now for nails and both times my nails have come out atrocious! My nails are crooked, uneven, and are ripping after less than a week due to air bubbles. My thumb literally ripped the day after I got it done!! When I asked her to correct my nails she became extremely aggravated and made a half ass "attempt" at fixing them. Here are some pictures of my 45 dollar nails. The bubbles are because she didn't wait for the first layer of gel to dry before applying a second one, but I'm sure If you asked the nail tech she'd say it's my fault. Oh yeah she also insulted my color choice and kept pressuring me to get glitter despite me telling her I wanted simple black. UOFA SORORITY GIRLS I KNOW WE ALL GO HERE BUT DONT WE NEED TO FIND A BETTER PLACE!!!! read more

Got a dip powder mani and regular pedi, which were both done by a man. He was nice, but wow he did a bad job. My toe nails were bleeding and the dip needed to be removed the same day, that's how bad it looked. On top of that, it was very expensive for the area. STAY AWAY. read more

I went here for the 5th time at 4:30 everything was good, they got me in. I never had any issues before. Then I tell them I wanted fall colors, picked them out and show which toe, color, etc. it was a very good pedicure. He did the colors backwards & removal not the color I chose from what I said but I didn't complain. I told him that one of the colors on the toes (he picked) I liked a lot and wanted all my colors that on my hands. I said this 4 times as I saw him grab other colors. I kept trying to stop him from continuing so he didn't have more work but there was a huge barrier. The girl at the front that translated was helping other clients and the co-worker suggested to have him paint on gel over the orange dip. I was like that's probably not going to work in my head, but they insisted. They painted about 5 coats to have 4 of my nails never match the others because of the orange base. She offered me a 20% discount I was there for 2 hours because no one wanted to do the right thing in the first place. I just wanted a nice manicure now I stuck with the ugliest bulky nails I've ever had. They said I could come back, but I have no time. This was supposed to be a nice treat from an 80hr work week and I'm in tears and trying to rip off this set. I'm so sad and won't be coming back. read more

3.5 stars... I've never attempted making an appointment here, always walked in and been seated within 15 minutes of my arrival. I've been about 5 or 6 times, since I first starting coming they have updated the décor. It is cute and clean, they have a lot of chairs if you are trying to get Pedi's with a group. I've never had an issue with my manicures or pedicures. They carry a TON of colors Essie, OPI, and DND gel colors. They sell Butter polish, but I have not seen it anywhere as an option for your service. They have a lot of options to pay more for upgrades to the pedicures with different scrubs/scents etcetera, which I'm sure provide a longer service. I always go for the least expensive. They have a punch card, which is cool! I usually forget to ask for a punch and they do not remind me about it. For a quick mani/pedi, this place does the trick. read more

I've been coming to this salon for the past seven or eight months for pedicures and dip nails. Their selection of dip nail colors is insane. I usually come during the week to avoid long waits; the salon is pretty busy. But they do great work. I have had my nails done by around half of the people that work here and have been satisfied with my nails and toes. I'm an athlete and hard on my manicures. My dip nails last around three weeks. read more

I went here for the second time, hoping that the first time was just a fluke. I do not use gel polish and both times I went here the nail polish took more than four hours to dry and of course my nails got messed up. I don't know what they're adding to the nail polish, but it makes it so it doesn't dry. The quality of the pedicure was just OK, definitely nothing to rave about. I will not be going back again. read more

If i could give zero I WOULD. A simple gel polish after a pedicure should be pretty simple.... so i thought there's no way of them messing it up. I WAS WRONG. I did not notice this until getting home bc i was not expecting to need to inspect the polish job. The gel polish is bubbling and moving like there's liquid trapped under it and both big toes are like this. Completely unacceptable after spending an extra $10 for gel pedicure and getting a crap job. This was suppose to be special for a vacation and now i'm going with f*cked up toes. I will NEVER return. The owner of this place is a piece of shit. Two weeks in a row I called for an appointment on Sunday for my mother and wife and was told they do not do appointments on Sunday, but to come early (11 when they first open) and that they would get us in. Both weeks they show up and Le [the owner) tells them that they do not have time to do nails and can only paint. The second time my wife asked who answers the phones cause she is giving false information. He literally looked at them and just walked away. He refused to answer questions or even try to make accommodations. They have been going to this place for years and loved it. I guess Le has gotten to the point that he does not care. STAY AWAY!! Polish nails on Oracle is way way better! read more

Called to ask if there was a wait time, was told it was less than 15 minutes by the girl at the front desk. Decided I had time for that wait- I've been here many times before so I was happy to hear it wouldn't be long. Show up, check in, there's about 8 people before me, waited for close to 40 mins to get my gel manicure. The dremel tool was used way too much to take off my gel polish as mentioned in other reviews, it alarmed me. I don't want my nails actively damaged! Anyway, the manicure itself was unremarkable, she wasn't friendly but wasn't rude. The 2 stars are reserved for the woman at the counter. Firstly, I've never been a fan of hers honestly, her customer service skills leave much to be desired but today, oh. My. Gosh. I was fishing a tip out of my wallet while she was taking to someone else about checking in. Then she proceeded to ring up the charge for me to use my debit card with, she told me to place my card in the machine- there was no please- alright done. Then as it's running (the machine is always slow) I find the cash to get change for the tip. I hand her a 20 dollar bill for change and she didn't even listen to the change I requested she legitimately THREW the bills on the counter then SLAPPED THE MACHINE and said PIN. I entered my pin, but forgot to hit enter because I was so uncomfortable so she SLAPPED THE MACHINE AGAIN! Anyway, I dropped my tip off and walked out the door without saying thank you. I've said I'd never come back in the past but this sealed the deal. I've never experience such horrendous customer service or such a borderline humiliating experience. She needs etiquette lessons or needs to go heard farm animals because that's how she treats her customers- for shame! read more

We walked in, which was our fault, but was told we would be seen right away and was not seen for another 30/40 minutes. No communication at all just sitting waiting. The manager was the rudest man I have ever encountered. Was snappy and short with me instead of smiling and being welcoming. I got a basic gel which was okay, nothing special. I tried tipping my nail artist and the manager refused to allow me to do this, which I was confused by as wanted to make sure I was tipping the correct lady. Overall a terrible experience, will not be coming back here. read more

It was really clean and I was able to get a last minute appointment. Though She gave me oval nails instead of almond and didnt Apply the gel well at all, some of the nails are crooked and lifted up. LOVE this place! I made an appointment a few days prior and walk in and am greeted by the sweet Van who works the front desk. She takes me straight to my station and starts getting me wrapped. I have been going to Classy Nails for 18 years. They provide wonderful pedicure and manicure services. I have been impressed with how they have expanded over the years , are truly classy by offering coffee, tea and snacks to all and most importantly how clean and organized they are. While there are a few techs that are my favorite, I have found everyone is great. Le carries the latest nail products and I have seen beautiful chrome nails and many more of the popular styles. I stick to gels and they are always very well done. They are always busy but they do take walk ins and most of the time there is not a long wait, usually I will grab a bobo tea next door to pass a little of the wait time. For special occasions that need a definitive time frame , go ahead and make an appointment. read more

First off, I've come here a couple times and sometimes are better than others but this last time I was kind of upset. I came in picked my color got my pedi and that was fine. When it came to my acrylics, the guy doing my nails was already upset about the girl previous to me I think since I could see what was going on when he was doing her nails. My turn comes and he's rushing because they're very busy. I'm guessing the girl checking people in was new since I hadn't seen her before and because the way the guy doing my nails was acting towards her. He was fed up and kept stopping doing my nails to do everything else, which I get it. Wasn't that upset but my nails are not even, they're lumpy, thick, and definitely could use some filing on the sides. I paid for a fill and fix of 2 broken nails ($35) for matte blue. If I pay that for a full I expect them to be smooth and sharp not what I got. read more

I had a regular pedicure today. My technician did a good job of trimming my nails to an appropriate length and working out the edges that are slightly ingrown (no discomfort whatsoever). The polish part was well done. I think some of the customers do not appreciate when the technicians talk among them themselves. sometimes not even looking at their work while conversing. I was reading the facial expressions, body language, and glances they would direct towards me. So perhaps the employees should still be friendly with each other but limit their interactions a bit. As in any service job, the customers should feel welcomed and important. All in all, I continue to love Classy Nail it is clean, spacious, and has a wide variety of choices. Also, almost all the staff had masks. read more

I went in wanting specific 5 color matte nails and they did not disappoint! She spent so much time on my nails making sure they were trimmed well and such, and triple checked with me that she was doing it right, and then had someone else come in to do my matte top coat because she didn't want to mess it up! Will 100% be going back again! Also the cost did not go up even though I used 5 different gel colors and a specific top coat! read more

I've been in search of a nail salon here in Tucson and came across this one. And let me tell you, I have not seen a nail salon with so many dip powder color options (they also have several different gel color options)! I was stunned by the amount of colors that they carry. Anyways, I was just a walk-in and only had to wait 5 minutes. Viet (I'm not too sure how to spell his name) was my nail tech and he was amazing! He helped me pick out a natural color for my nails and loved it. This was my first time getting a dip powder manicure and I will never go back to gel. He was kind enough to explain to me the benefits of dip powder and how it works. He was very gentle the entire time and it didn't take long at all. When I went to go pay, the manager helped me and was very nice, asking if everything went well and if I was happy. I appreciate that! Overall, I am very happy with this place and already am making plans to come back again! Thank you Classy Nails! Update: Viet is amazing! I got my nails done Saturday morning and was taken right away. I wasn't expecting to sit down for a simple full set for an hour and a half. Unfortunately, I have been burned by this place one too many times. I've been coming here for a few years now, and while they are not my favorite nail salon in Tucson, most of their technicians do a pretty good job and a gel manicure lasts at least two weeks. The problem I've noticed lately is the lack of customer service. Today was the third time I've come here with an appointment, arrived on time and still had to wait over 30 minutes to be attended to. After over 30 minutes of waiting this time, I just decided to leave. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I used to come here all the time but I am not sure what happened this time. I had acrylic overlay over natural nails. The nail tech started soaking off the acrylic and then proceeded to get a nail tip and slip it underneath the acrylic in an attempt to pop it off. I told her that my natural nails are thin and I don't think she should do that. Then she still did it multiple times after I told her she was hurting me. Then she did it again to my pinky nails and she ripped them off! She then proceeded to tell me it's my fault because it's acrylic next time just get dip. She ended up ripping two of my nails off, until I told her that she needs to stop she already ripped off two of my nails. Then she still charged me for take off? After she literally injured my finger? Make it make sense! Stay away from this place! Or atleast tell them firmly tell they are hurting you. What the heck! read more

Great pedicure space with many chairs and nicely organized nail polishes to choose from. They have every color you could desire and are very professional. They offer walk-in availability and the massage chairs are very comfortable. The only downside is they are pretty expensive for AZ. Actually they are pretty expensive for any state. In CA you can get basic spa pedicures for $12-$15. Here they charge $25. Nothing fancy, no paraffin, just the basic. I had cut my own toenails the week before coming here so they really only had to cut the cuticles and put the lotions on. They were nice and let me and my friend chat during the visit. After we left my friend scuffed her big toe nail as we were walking to get food at a neighboring restaurant. We walked back and they fixed it for her and sat us under the fans with the quick dry spray so she wouldn't have that issue again. read more
