Really like the staff and atmosphere of this dog salon...it feels family owned. ( I'm not sure if it is or not). I have a Miniature Dashound and when we come in .... she gets as much attention as I do. We are both greeted by name with warm smiles. This is a terrible place to have you pet groomed. They cut our puppy's nails too short and she was dripping blood from her foot. I have never seen blood actually dripping from this before. I have tried to support this small business but I can't ignore the bad service I keep receiving at this place. I've been bringing my pets here for over 3 yrs and no one has ever known my dogs by their names. That has always bothered me, but I wanted stay with the same folks for my dogs sake, but for the second time my dogs hair was cut VERY uneven. Again I was told just to bring her back tomorrow, and they would fix it. As if my time isn't valuable and my dog loves to keep coming back to the groomer. NOT!! Just walked out, had enough of dealing with them. Every time we took our miniature schnauzer in they wanted to shave her 'because she is matted". I refused each time and told them I have never been told she is matted before let alone that she needed shaved, if they want to do a regular cut they could but otherwise I will take her elsewhere. Each time they decided to do a regular cut ( which looked good). Fourth time in and and same story, claim too matted to cut regular, all I said was giver her back and walked out. We take our two Maine Coons to Classy Cuts every six weeks or so for a bath and nail trim. Finding a cat groomer is extremely difficult and finding one that knows what they are doing is even harder. We have been extremely happy with the treatment of our "girls". They are well taken care of and look wonderful after every visit. read more

Our dog is a rescue and even though she loves people she is scared of a lot of things and isn't friendly with other animals. We had taken her to a few other groomers in the area, including Petsmart, and she would always leave trembling and terrified. At Classy Cuts they are so sweet to her that she now gets excited when we pull in the parking lot - they know her by name, treat her well and she always comes out looking great. I have been taking my shih tzu to Classy Cuts since we moved to the area in July 2013. It is out of my way but worth the drive. They know Sophie when we walk in (I'm not sure they know my name, but that's ok!). They are quicker than any groomer I have used in the last 11yrs. A usual bath and cut for my small dog takes about 3.5 hours were as other places take 6 (I'm not sure what they are doing for 6hrs???). Sophie always looks beautiful and smells great when we leave. You can tell she is proud of her new hair cut the way she prances around for the next several days. She is a regular customer and gets her hair done about every 5 weeks. My little shih tzu is like my first born child and I wouldn't take her anywhere else! read more

Great salon, always have a spot available quickly. Dogs are not trying to turn around when we arrive, so I think they are treated well in the back. Haircuts are good and prices very reasonable. Only "complaint" is that tips are cash only, so you have to remember to carry enough with you, which is a little annoying. read more

Negatives: bad customer service, poor treatment of animals, uneven haircuts, lock the animals up in kennels for up to 5+ hours and forget to call when they are done and time for pickup. Pros: cheapest that I could find in the area (but you get what you pay for). For being a groomer that specializes in animals, you would think they would actually like animals more and show more excitement to see a cute puppy and give better customer service to their customers (humans and animals alike). I tried them out twice since they had the cheapest prices in my area, but both times I took my Maltipoo puppy they weren't excited to see him or friendly to me. I want my groomer to care about my puppy and to know they he is in good hands, and they came off almost annoyed with him that I brought him in for his appointment (both times, including my first visit!). They also gave him a very uneven haircut both times, and I didn't notice until I got home, but I found really long random pieces that were uneven that I had to cut/trim myself. My puppy also seemed extremely anxious when I came to pick him up both times, and they keep the dogs kenneled for hours before and after the haircut. The second time they didn't call me to tell me he was done, I had to call to ask. Not good, since it was more than 5 hours from when I dropped him off! Overall, I was not impressed, and only gave them a second chance due to the price being lower. But I'm not risking a third time! I'm willing to pay more for better quality and better customer/animal service. read more

My mom took our family dog to this place. We picked him up and he seemed oddly disturbed, scared and upset. When we got home, we noticed they had shaved deep into his skin below his ear! Our dog was bleeding profusely. We called and the lady said the groomers didn't tell her. She didn't offer money back, a discount, a free cut and our dog was badly injured. He was required to wear a cone and medicine for 3 weeks after the incident. read more

We were looking for a place to groom our dog during quarantine and we wanted to try this place out. First of all, they showed up an hour late which is fine because we were in no rush, but still. Second, when they finished, she came out all wet. We asked them to trim her back and her belly, she came out and her whole belly was shaved to her skin. Not for nothing, but we paid $90 for them to ruin our dog's coat and spray her with a hose, which we could have done ourselves. I do not recommend this groomers even in these hard times. read more

Avoid this groomer. If I could give zero star I would. They keep the dogs too long and must have high turn over because there are always different groomers. They ruined our Maltese, shaved her again and knicked her paws. We specifically asked for Maltese cut and to keep her coat and ears long. The groomer clearly did not know how to groom a Maltese she looks like a shaved 5 lb rat with a strange purple and green bow and we have repeatedly asked for pink or red bows only. Our dog was traumatized, it will take six months for her hair to grow to normal length. We will never go back. read more

We take our dog Bubb here every 3-4 weeks to get his nails trimmed. Bubb is a boxer mix and before we found Classy Cuts we would try to do it ourselves on the kitchen floor. My wife dropped our Pomeranian off for her appt only to receive a phone call 30 minutes later stating that we needed to pick up our dog she was a little bit too hyper. then the lady on the phone, obviously completely oblivious, said "oh wait is this a cat?", put my wife on hold, came back to the phone, "oh nevermind, the owner is afraid that your dog is going to jump off the table and hurt herself and does not want to pay the vet bill. When my wife asked her about the grooming the lady then stated "look! all I know is the owner said come pick up your dog"...CLICK....enough said. So we picked up our sophie, who was only partially groomed on the sides and much more nervous then she has ever been, and took her elsewhere. I rate zero stars. Please do it take your family member (some call these family members pets, I don't) here. When I look at my dog after her recent visit, all I want to do is cry. When I called to complain, I got "I can refund your money." No apologies, no explanation. I doubt my dog will never look the same again. I doubt the coat will be able to recover. Will have to wait 2 - 3 months before I can attempt to find someone to attempt to help her.
