Nothing humbles you faster than a cracked windshield. Thankfully, these folks know exactly what they're doing. I called down to get a quote and was greeted with kind, friendly, and exceptional service. My window was ordered and I was eager to get it replaced. When I went down I was treated as a friend and a valued customer. The two in the shop definitely kept it lively. And, as I ventured to the window to watch the man, the myth, the legend himself replace my window - I was on the edge of my seat as if I was waiting at my home window waiting for an Amazon package to arrive. The service was promptly, skillful, and swift as a coursing river. When I called around for price inquiries I took note of a handful of places that, when hearing the price, my jaw physically dropped. Last week, I noticed a small crack of about 1 1/2 inches. There is no chip, just a crack. It's hard to see unless the light is right. I called and advised them. They told me that the warranty only covers leaks around the seal; it has nothing to do with the glass. I don't like being lied to. Funny that way.

Jim's intervention addressed my issues with the Ashland shop and has restored my faith in buying local. Initial one-star review: Do yourself a favor and work with Bill's Glass in Medford instead. I'm not going to identify/shame the individual by name, but the person responsible for intake in Ashland is incompetent, and you'll find yourself frustrated with the shop's inability to provide basic customer service. They make commitments, fail to meet them and then just make excuses. Sorry, I know it's inconvenient to have to travel to Medford when we have a Bill's glass in town, and I believe it's important to support local businesses.
