Im not from the area so I found this place when searching for the nearest tires shop when I could…read morehardly go 50 feet without almost sliding off the road. I slid into this place with almost completely bald tires, not really sure what to do because tires are pricey (hence the bald ones I've been driving on for too long, or so I thought thanks to Les Schwab. A dude named Austyn, I think, was in there and showed me some options that were less than half the price of the last set I got. Turns out Austyn is the manager, and he himself and a couple guys from his team jumped right in to get me squared away and back on the road, no crazy wait time or other stuff. It's a little crazy that places with service like that still exist. I'll make this my go to anytime im in Medford. Thanks.

I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience with Point S Tire & Auto Service was too…read moreconcerning not to share. I bought a set of tires from them for about $600 (almost $900 installed). In less than 10,000 miles (about a year and a half), the tires started showing visible tread chunking and abnormal wear. When I had another shop look at them, they estimated the tires had already lost about 50% of their tread life, which is extremely premature. When I first brought my vehicle back to Point S, they told me I needed a rack and pinion replacement and quoted around $2,000. That didn't sit right, so I got two additional opinions. Both confirmed there was no issue with the rack and pinion. When I returned and told them this, they said the original diagnosis may have been a mistake and that they could have confused rainwater for a fluid leak. That explanation alone was concerning. They also dismissed the tire wear as normal, despite the low mileage, visible damage, and feedback from other shops. They did not offer meaningful help with a warranty claim or take responsibility for the situation. At that point, I lost confidence and chose to go elsewhere. Between the incorrect $2,000 repair recommendation and the unwillingness to address what appears to be premature tire failure, I would not return. I strongly recommend getting a second opinion if you're told you need major repairs here.

First off, I don't leave negative reviews unless I've been misled or wronged by the company, which…read morewas the case with Crater Lake Ford/ Mazda. Tanner Newcombe was my salesman. In 2024, I purchased a "lifetime oil contract from them for $995. One year later, I traded in that car for new CX-50. Tanner had me sign a cancellation form to get the prorated refund from my trade-in. I was told I'd receive the refund within 90 days. Needless to say, the $709 never arrived, and it's been 6 months! To make matters worse, he convinced me to buy a new oil change contract on the new car for another $995. I was misled and lied to by Tanner and a manager named Brett P. I've been emailing and leaving messages for Tanner, yet he never gave me the courtesy of a response. After my recent purchase, the dealership wanted me to review Tanner. I mistakenly gave him a positive review, which I now regret. I will either revise that to reflect my recent experiences or complete a new one naming the staff involved. This brings me to yesterday, when I drove the 40 minutes to address this with Tanner. He said he never got the VM's or emails I left, but would investigate and send me a Docusign to process this refund. I asked if I could just sign the form again while I was there, but he had another excuse for why that wasn't possible. I waited 24 hrs and the DocuSign never came. I've had enough of their lies. Since Tanner didn't follow through once again, I called to speak with a manager. Brett P. told me he'd do some research and call me back. Brett called and informed me that the cancellation paperwork was never processed, with no explanation as to the reason why or who is responsible. Brett told me I just needed to call their third-party vendor, DWS, and they'd mail my refund directly to my home. That didn't happen either. Before I hung up, I asked Brett if I could call him back should I have any more issues, to which he agreed. I tried calling Brett back x 2 and left him a voicemail explaining what DWS is requesting. I've yet to hear back from him or anyone from Crater Lake. DWS is adding additional roadblocks, requiring a hard copy of my cancellation request and proof of loan payoff. I was never provided with this documentation, so I'll need to drive in again today to get these documents. I've been inconvenienced one too many times by their sales team and management. Here's my recommendation after buying 2 Mazdas from Crater Lake in the last two years: *** Drive the extra miles to buy from another Mazda dealership in Eugene or Brookings, if you don't want to end up with buyer's remorse! Their sales team is the most unscrupulous group of individuals I've ever encountered. Don't make the same mistake I did, you've now been warned ***
