I'm grieved after more than five years of good service and good products to be removed and told never to come back to Classic Coffee. The owner called 911 and told dispatch a crowd of 8 people were being disruptive. This of course was not true. The owner was upset to have eggs from a another establishment brought into the public breezeway of Classic Coffee. Prior to yesterday, I have spent, personally 3-4 hundred dollars a month there. Often leaving large tips to show appreciation and leaving hundreds of dollars at holidays so all would get significant bonuses. My wife, friends and colleagues spent equal amounts daily there. Yesterday, my wife being a reactive hypoglycemic needed protein immediately so I brought her egg bites to keep her glucose level up. Additionally all of us at the table, including myself spent 4-7 dollars on coffee and pastries. The owner got into my wives face literally and told her to leave because of the egg products. The owner and myself called 911, we were being harassed and we were experiencing a hostile environment. He told the dispatcher we were disruptive but finally when the police showed up the statement was made that we took up too much time. As a retired paramedic, I keep close eye on my wives condition, having helped countless people at Classic with trauma and medical issues. Additionally, I'm hurt because one day the owners grand daughter fell and hit her head on the concrete and I was the first one up to render her aid and assess if further medical help was necessary. I'm sad to say I will never return to Classic and will miss the nice and cheerful baristas at the coffee bar. Fortunately, we have already been invited to take up space and spend our dollars in a nearby establishment. Came in today at 10:35am quite today-one mom in line with her toddler placing her drink order- 4 employees behind the counter that I can see. Waiting....still waiting hummm It's been 6 min....nobody asked to start my drink or says hello? I cant be missed I'm wearing a bright orange jacket and standing in front of a half empty bakery case. Meanwhile one gal is complaining about how early it is while making the customers drink one is chatting with another under the menu and one gal is checking out the customer in front of me. I don't get it? Took all of me to not interrupt the staff and ask where the nearest Starbucks is because apparently I'm invisible. Sigh... I've come here A few times cuz it's the only coffee shop in downtown Glendora. I prefer no ice in my coffee drinks, and every time it's only been filled about 60%. So my large size was equivalent to less than a small size. Starbucks and Coffee Bean never do this. The last time I went, the barista even asked me why I wanted no ice. Located in the cute old town part of Glendora where all the trees on the street look like gum drops. I love this street. All the businesses are small and sweet sprinkled with some restaurants and this coffee shop! Parking is just in the front. It smells so good in here and even the restroom smells like cinnamon which I like. I ordered a regular latte and it was pretty good. Good amount of milk and foam and the service was very sweet. This place has a lot more options than most And I think they are more known for those options. I'll have to come back again and get their popular drink. read more

Went to study with a friend a few weeks ago and really liked that there was a lot of seats available. Loved the peaceful environment. I got the mango smoothie and really enjoyed it! The baristas did a good job. Will definitely have to go back to try their coffee soon! read more

Restroom is in need of attention. I live in Glendora and come in on occasion to support local. Service here is normal with nice staff, nothing too special. This last Sunday morning my husband and I stopped in for a cup to go. It was the first time I needed to use the restroom here on my way out. A key is required to access the single restroom. Once inside I saw the toilet base had multiple crusty dry drips of urine. The area between the toilet seat and tank also had a collected layer of hair that appeared to be there for a while. The sink had gray stains (stains can be removed with abrasive cleaner). Can't help but wonder what the cafe's back kitchen looks like. I've been in cleaner gas station stalls. Hopefully this review encourages a positive action. read more

This place is six miles away from me but their Coffee and limited food items at this coffee shop are good. The staff has always been friendly to me every time I have been there. The shop is clean, the atmosphere is cozy and their condiments bar is well supplied. I would recommend this place for your next cup of coffee. read more

This is an ok place in my opinion if you want some coffee. We have had the flights which didn't really have many flavors available like we had read on yelp and we had the hot horchata. The hot horchata was good for the price it was just not worth it. Better to go to a mexican joint or somewhere with horchata that is at a better price lol. Had to try the cinnamon roll and the decaf coffee. I've been looking for a great decaf coffee and I think I found it here! The cinnamon roll was baked with a flaky poo astry not overly doused with icing but rather with cinnamon and a very light sugary coating. Very refreshing! The service was amazing. I'm reviewing Classic Coffee after ordering their iced chai latte a couple times here. They offer two different types of chai (vanilla and spiced; vanilla being the sweeter of the two). I always order mine with both because I really like hints of the vanilla sweetness intertwined with the spiced chai cinnamon/ginger flavoring. Default milk they use is 2% milk (other milk options as well). Steep in price for a small size, but nonetheless one of the top-quality coffee shops in my area that offers amazing chai lattes. The smallest size (12 oz) is around $4.25. And bigger sizes are 50 cents more to up to $5 approximately. There is a comfortable amount of indoor and outdoor seating, plus parking lot access is free and vacant parking spaces are always accessible. The customer service here is efficient and accommodating. I'm sure the coffee is probably standard tasting here, not sure about pastries though, but I suggest trying this place if only for their fabulous iced chai lattes! read more

I realized just now that I haven't posted a review of Classic Coffee yet! I come here weekly and am never disappointed. I usually get an iced tea or horchata on warmer days, and a hot chai in cooler weather. Their coffee is also really good and they offer all the milk alternatives I can think of. We are still in a COVID-19 mask mandate so they do enforce it in the shop and will offer a disposable mask if you forgot yours. Staff does a really good job of kindly asking patrons to wear one, which makes me feel better about returning weekly. Overall, everything I've tasted here - drinks and pastries alike - has been good. I've been a customer of Classic Coffee for a few years now, and my service has ranged from average to below average. As I review some of the comments on here, I have to say that I truly wish I had the same great customer service experience. In my opinion, this shop has very high potential. It's located in the beautiful neighborhood of Downtown Glendora. As a local resident, I would love to support my neighborhood coffee shop-- but my most recent experiences with Classic have been very distasteful and have geared me to opt out of this shop for my daily caffeine dose. The coffee is good, slightly too acidic to my liking but it's definitely high quality. But the coffee isn't what strays me away, as it's the customer service that's lacking. I've hardly been greeted with a good morning, or even acknowledged with a hello when I've entered the shop. In fact, more often than not I've been left feeling like a bother. Not a smile in sight as I arrive to the counter nor when I'm ordering-- and employee gossip seems to be more of a priority then the customers who are being served. The handoff at bar is concluded with the same energy. It's honestly such a disappointment. I've experienced this with multiple employees on most occasions whom I'm sure consist of supervisors as well. Would I like to give this place another chance? I don't think I have many left in me to do so, but I'd truly hope the next time I'm willing to that the vibe check brings warmth and good energy. read more

Was in the area for a yelp elite event but needed some coffee to stay awake during it after a long day _! First off they had banners up saying they've been voted SGV's best coffee shop 5 years in a row...so congrats! The shop itself is pretty spacious there's parking in the front and back and it's located in a very nice down town area with indoor and out door seating. Looks like they keep drip coffee out in containers for quick refills if you're working there for a bit. My favorite thing was that they have latte flights! They look like a flight you would grab at a brewery but with coffee....yes please! I will be back for a latte flight when I need somewhere in the area to work at \ (**) / I ordered a cappuccino made with breve, some coffee shops give me a hard time about using half and half because steaming it is different, but their barista knew what she was doing and didn't bat an eye at my request! read more

The food and coffee are good but this place lacks in customer service. The few times I've been here the employees aren't too friendly and lack any sense or urgency. I never get acknowledged but they are very friendly to their regulars. If you order online they don't have any signs as to where to pick up, so I waited in a line of 5 people finally get to the cashier and she rudely told me "pick up over there, they'll have your order" instead of just grabbing it for me I had to then wait in another line to pick up my already by then cold drinks. Pleasantly surprised to find this location. The inside offers a lot of seating. Pretty loud environment and not really a quiet, studying area as I would have assumed. The staff was prompt and super friendly.. Ordered: Small Hazelnut Latte Iced w/ soy It was really good, not too sweet and a good balance of espresso, milk, and syrup. I love this spot when I am in the area. I usually order the horchata frapp with a shot of espresso and no whip cream. It is such a great pick me up. There is also a bunch of options for snacks and I typically take the banana nut bread or pumpkin when in season. They also have bananas. The customer service is always on point here. It does not matter what time of day it is, they are always friendly and quick to get your coffee. read more

This review is long overdue. I started coming to Classic Coffee a lot to study in 2019, it is by far the best coffee shop I've ever been to. The owner is always incredibly kind and helpful, along with all his staff. In the past 4 years of coming here, every one of his employees has had a great attitude and been super helpful to me whenever I would go in and ask questions about the menu. The coffee shop has an overall very cute cafe, comfortable vibe. Sometimes I come in when I've been having a bad day, and it really lifts my spirits. When I was going through a hard time, all I wanted to do was go in and get my cup of coffee from them, and it always made my day so much better. The coffee is also the best I've had, it's so flavorful! No matter what I try, the flavors never disappoint. This place gives off the perfect small town coffee shop vibe. It's in the heart of downtown Glendora surrounded by great mom and pop shops and restaurants. The staff is friendly, and the seasonal drinks are always on point. Every drink I've had actually tastes like the flavors it's supposed to be, as opposed to other coffee shops (Starbucks) where their drinks all taste the same and are just overly sweet. They also have the best Chai! Just their regular one is delicious but then they have flavors like vanilla or maple spiced, so good!!!! There's ample seating inside as well as outside.
