Tasty drinks? check! Lots of drink options? check! Friendly service? check! Clean? check! Plenty of seating? check! Free wifi with a plethora of outlets? check & check!! What more could a gal ask for?!!! Their drink menu is what you would expect at a coffee shop and more. From coffee and espressos, to chai lattes, to ice blended drinks, to frozen hot chocolate, to italian sodas! They use Ghirardelli, and let me just say it is MMM MMM GOOD!! Hello, tastebud party! Their service is spot on. They are extremely friendly as well a patient when it comes to you trying to figure out what to order. And if you have any questions at all, they are there to answer any and all! With many suggestions based on your preferences, I always find myself trying something new with each visit! This place is very clean, in their down time the baristas are constantly cleaning. Whether it's cleaning the windows, sweeping the floors, wiping the counters, cleaning tables, or tidying up the display case of delicious treats, they are always keeping themselves busy. They have seating not only in Classic Coffee, and outdoors, but also in the enclosed shared space they have with Domenico's next door. Practically every table has an outlet, if you plan on using your laptop. And they have free wifi, with your purchase. The wifi code is found on your receipt, and changes daily. I must say the speed of the wifi is pretty good, especially considering the amount of people that use it. All I can say are good things about this place. Plus, there is plenty of parking in Downtown Glendora! So, if you happen to be in the area, and are looking for something to drink, be sure to stop on by!!! read more

Classic Coffee - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Glendora, California

This review is long overdue. I started coming to Classic Coffee a lot to study in 2019, it is by far the best coffee shop I've ever been to. The owner is always incredibly kind and helpful, along with all his staff. In the past 4 years of coming here, every one of his employees has had a great attitude and been super helpful to me whenever I would go in and ask questions about the menu. The coffee shop has an overall very cute cafe, comfortable vibe. Sometimes I come in when I've been having a bad day, and it really lifts my spirits. When I was going through a hard time, all I wanted to do was go in and get my cup of coffee from them, and it always made my day so much better. The coffee is also the best I've had, it's so flavorful! No matter what I try, the flavors never disappoint. Highly recommend this place :) I've also made some friends with the other customers here, too! read more

Classic is my favorite coffee house in the area and it's not even close. The place is always clean and organized, the food and drinks are high quality, and, most importantly, the staff is amazing. It doesn't matter who's working, the consistency is always there. read more

First time that I got my coffee it was perfect, 2nd time it wasn't sweet enough, then today it was WAY too sweet. I always get the white mocha. This place is a hit or miss- I feel like it's inconsistent but when they do make it right it's pretty good. read more

The food and coffee are good but this place lacks in customer service. The few times I've been here the employees aren't too friendly and lack any sense or urgency. I never get acknowledged but they are very friendly to their regulars. If you order online they don't have any signs as to where to pick up, so I waited in a line of 5 people finally get to the cashier and she rudely told me "pick up over there, they'll have your order" instead of just grabbing it for me I had to then wait in another line to pick up my already by then cold drinks. I'll never order online from here again. They need a better system. read more

I have just started coming here about a handful of times, and everything is great except the young short haired girl NEVER smiles or talks lol. It's very uncomfortable, seems like she doesn't want to be here. That's the only negative about this place though. Everyone else is so kind and accommodating. Please have a chat with her though! read more

I had the vanilla latte and it was gone within a minute. I wished I ordered a medium. They also have a selection of pastries which I need to try. They all look delicious. I also found these pretzels there which I absolutely loved, they are HOT. read more

The beauty of the buzz and the sensuous taste in every sip off the ceramic rim. The euphoric feeling you get with that hot or warm liquid flowing through your body leaving it blissfully jittery. After experiencing a flight of four lattes and their super food drink, that my fellow readers was the end result. My latte flight flavors were honey lavender, caramel, vanilla and Irish toffee. All were well balanced and the flavoring was present in every sip throughout the experience. My clearcut favorite was their one of a kind super food latte with had beet root and raw cocoa. This drink is definitely not for everyone but if your palate loves to explore new exiting flavors then this is up your tongue alley. The atmosphere is very tranquil and one can get lost in the still of the silence. But if you're feeling a little rowdy they have board games to spice up your sip and stay. The shop is in a sleepy town by the mountain side that has interesting stores to see and explore. And that's my take on the classic coffee house. Peace out... read more

I placed a mobile order. Typically I go to Starbucks so I'm used to the speed. I pulled forward every song and a half or so. It was ridiculous. I got in line with maybe 6 cars ahead of me and was in line over 25 min. Like I said, I had a mobile order. When I FINALLY got to the window the girl said it would be ready soon. This was 20+ minutes past the time the app said my drink would be ready. The only reason they're getting two stars is because I got a fresh drink. The entire time in line I was expecting a very watered down iced latte. So yay! One thing right. read more

The coffee is good and the staff is friendly. Their frozen hot chocolate is original. The big down side is that there is no such thing as grabbing a quick latte on the way to whatever. The wait is long and if the line is five deep you should start watching the next episode on the Netflix series you have been following. read more

I come to this place all the time when I'm in the area to visit my boyfriend, even though it's 60 miles from me. It's the best coffee shop I've tried for spiced chai tea lattes in LA and OC shops. My partner always gets their horchata, and it never disappoints. :) read more

Staff was amazing. Owner was disturbing and wouldn't leave us alone. Kept bothering us while we were trying to do work on our laptops to talk about literal nonsense. Would not go again. read more

Sweet spot in Glendora for coffee! A hidden treasure. The vibe is relaxing so I like to come here to grab a cafe latte before my walk. Evelyn (I think is her name) with light hair, is a fast worker and very nice makes it a pleasant experience! I have my kids with me so it feels like I'm in and out so fast. I like the water that's out for customers as my kids get thirsty too! Thank you!! read more

Not super close off the freeway, but easy to find if you're jonesing for a good cup of coffee while on a road trip. Parking is easy and the bathroom is clean as well. I had a vanilla latte which was fairly flavorful and 2 mini cinnamon rolls which mostly hit the "I need sugar" spot . All three were about $7 bucks. The staff was very very nice and service was quick. All in all, it's a spot I'd cone back to if I'm ever in the area. read more

What a great hidden gem in Glendora. I'm not really a coffee drinker, but this place has great tasting coffee and exceptional service. The place was packed, which is almost an automatic sign you're in the right place. Thank you for a wonderful experience Classic Coffee! read more

I went to Classic Coffee for the first time with my fiancé since we were in the area and we were very disappointed. We went about three weeks ago and should have just walked out. Upon approaching the register, the girl who was taking orders was too busy talking and joking with her coworker about making sure they could clock out on time to acknowledge us even being there. I finally said hello and she told me to wait a moment while she finished her conversation. After laughing with her coworker she took my order, put the cup aside and before taking my fiancé's order, turned away to continue her conversation laughing with her coworker. The third worker who made our drinks was nice and polite. The other two workers who I'm assuming must have been dating were awful. Mind you, after taking my order, I looked and they were on their phones... I would highly suggest going anywhere else because the workers here are too busy worrying about leaving on time than doing their jobs. Also, it was only 3:15! Not even close to their closing time. read more

I have tried so many cold brew coffees around the area. Classic Coffee beats all coffee places hands down. I can actually say I am addicted to their Nitro Cold Brew With unsweetened Dark Chocolate. The smooth flavor of the coffee and the essence of the dark chocolate is combined in perfect harmony. This is perfect for me since I have Type 2 Diabetes. Long live coffee! read more

I have been frequenting Classic Coffee for over 10 years. What started as a convenient study place as an APU nursing student back in 2009 has turned into my favorite spot to grab a chai latte. I don't drink coffee, as chai lattes are my version of grabbing a coffee. Hands down, Classic has the best chai lattes (and I've had chai lattes from a wide variety of coffee shops). Nothing compares! What makes Classic the best though is the kind staff that I've had the pleasure of interacting with over the years. The fact that Jonathan and several of the baristas have learned my name and gotten to know me over the years makes this place feel like more than just your average coffee shop. I've spent countless hours here for over a decade as an undergrad student, grad student, and now just as a local who enjoys a chai latte on my days off. No coffee shop compares! Thank you, Classic Coffee, and the entire staff for all you do! I will be coming here for chai lattes for as long as I can. read more

My daughter was refused candy at the trick or treat event because "she was too old". She spent so much time and effort on her costume. Shame on them for breaking her spirit. She was so embarrassed she didn't want to participate anymore and burst into tears when we got to the car. Considering we didn't even have a Halloween last year, this was an opportunity for EVERYONE to enjoy themselves and it was ruined. read more

I'm in college and I normally love to come to classic coffee to do homework. 90% of the time I am a paying customer when I use their tables, but yesterday I went to Starbucks (cheaper prices) instead, while my friend got a coffee from Classic. While my friend was getting her drink inside, Fred, the owner, heckled me about "using the electricity and taking up space at a table just to eat my bagel". I told him "my friend is coming too" because I was sort of creeped out and did not want him to think I was alone. I had no clue who this guy was and he didn't make his intentions very clear. He proceeded to say "It doesn't matter" and rolled his eyes. Instead of introducing himself as the owner, I thought some old guy was yelling at me for no reason. He could have just said "Hey, these tables are for customers only" and I would have explained that my friend is inside getting a drink. TO FRED, This is not the correct way to treat returning and paying customers. Sorry you have a hate for Starbucks but don't be so pretentious. Your drinks are double the price and watered down. I'll sit on Domenico's side of the hallway next time with my Starbucks Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. read more

Cute coffee shop in downtown Glendora. Variety of choices & pastries. Friends meeting up inside. People on their laptops. A few small tables out front to people watch, sit with your pet or meet up with your online date. Just saying keep it in a public place with free parking and an easy exit. I know I'm not the only one out there. Coffee is very good not acidic like some big chain coffee places. Next door is a very good pizza and calzone Italian restaurant if someone you are with (kids are always hungry) is hungry but all you want is a good latte. read more

I got a Sugar free french vanilla latte with oat milk and was completely blown away! It was the perfect balance of coffee, creaminess, and the vanilla flavor yum! Employees are very friendly and all smiles as well. I sure wish I lived closer to this yummy place, though my wallet would cry as it definitely is on the pricier side. Nevertheless, this is a place you must check out at least once! read more

I'm part of the group that spent regular time at classic coffee and asked to leave and not return. Were all retired, like minded patriotic Americans and Veterans alike, we also enjoy spending time together sharing stories with each other at our once fav coffee place! I've been a regular customer and enjoyed seeing the many faces at classic and mostly good service. I've been a regular customer since they opened and it's so sad that Fred the owner chose to call the police to come and ask our group to leave and not return, Although I was not present but was in was in spirit, so with that you won't see my smiley face any longer. Thanks Fred! read more

Great coffee spot! I enjoyed a cold brew w english toffee syrup. The flavor was strong and rich. A few customers ordered the frappes w ghiradelli chocolate that looked extra delicious. Friendly baristas and cute interior. Highly recommend! read more

I've tried giving this place so many chances but I feel 2 stars is being generous at this point. Sugar free flavorings are okay. The oat milk doesn't taste very oat-y, but it also doesn't have a sour taste like some other places. The service depends on who is there that day. Online ordering and having it be ready and correct when you get there is very inconsistent. Many times I will ask for sugar free hazelnut and they just don't bother reading the notes? Breakfast wraps are frequently not heated all the way and are still frozen in the center? The final straw that made me write my review was when I went back JUST for a wrap because the coffee is so mids, and once I got in my car I realized the bag was full of what I assume to be frozen wrap runoff? The weird frozen sausage water cleansed my mind and I knew in that moment it was my last visit to classic coffee. If you like to get an average cup of coffee and feel like starting your morning with coffee roulette, 10/10, this is the place. read more

Excellent coffee bar. Delicious and made the way you want it. Everyone there is kind and accommodating. I need to make more time in the morning and treat myself. Very pleasant coffee shop in a great walkable area!! Coffee great, had their brew with heavy cream!!

This place is usually great but today not so much. The pumpkin spice latte wasn't all that great. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and they forgot my order. I had to go back and ask for it when the girl that took my order was more concerned about counting her tips then getting my order. read more

What I had: - Classic House Brew - Jump Start - Chai Tea Latte - Cappuccino How they tasted: - All of them were delicious. I've never had an issue with the drinks here. Why did I give it a five? - The decor, environment, and ambiance are very casual. I can't say that it's as updated as it could be, as other Yelpers' have pointed out. I imagine that the decor goes with the old town Glendora appeal...it fits the target market, which is likely local college students and older individuals. Overall, it's a great place to get some work done, catch up with friends, or take it with you on the go for a stroll down Glendora. Verdict? - Effin' go if you're a local to Glendora, or a broke college student from APU or Citrus looking for a place to study. read more

Amazing frozen hot chocolate that gets better and better with every sip. It has the warm, fuzzy feel of hot chocolate with refreshing twist that enhances the hot chocolate flavor on a hot sunny day. 10/10 would recommend! They also have ample seating so a good place to get work done. read more

I love this place, anytime I have a friend over whether they live close by or are visiting from out of state i just have to take them here. I have also managed to get some friends hooked on this place. The chai tea latte is amazing. Starbucks chai is watered down and tasteless compared to this. The iced chai with half spice half vanilla is perfect. I love very close to Classic Coffee and anytime I walk by or I'm downtown i just have to stop by and get this drink. When it's hotter and I want something lighter I go for their ice teas which are always good whether it's a basic green tea or it's a tea of the month like a desert pear. The baristas are always very friendly and do their job great. If your looking to try something different than Starbucks this is a great break from the usual. read more

BacOOOON!!! All I got to say...."the Sunday's AM TEAM. Is the best!" Their morning vibes are contagious !!!!!!!!!

Friendly service and the Jump Start the order once explained throughly in regards of a short of the ingredient and the replacement for it!

Classic has a La Marzocco espresso machine, which is reason enough to come here, even if just to look at it. They removed the glass wall from in front of it so you can touch it, if you wish. I did. I am not a regular, and in the big small town of Glendora, I bet Classic treats regulars warmly. I did not get that, but that's ok, the coffee should speak for itself. Which is why I give only 2 stars. Rather than serve espresso in what should be Italian ceramic warmed on top of the La Marzocco, I was given mine in a paper cup. Oy vey. Like putting Sophia Loren in a house dress. read more

I personally do not drink coffee, so why do I enjoy coming here so often? Great question. My girlfriend sweats by their chai latte and she is sometimes less inclined to go alone.
