After experiencing a flight of four lattes and their super food drink, that my fellow readers was the end result. My latte flight flavors were honey lavender, caramel,vanilla and Irish toffee. All were well balanced and the flavoring was present in every sip throughout the experience. My clearcut favorite was their one of a kind super food latte with had beet root and raw cocoa. This drink is definitely not for everyone but if your palate loves to explore new exiting flavors then this is up your tongue alley. The atmosphere is very tranquil and one can get lost in the still of the silence. But if you're feeling a little rowdy they have board games to spice up your sip and stay. I have been frequenting Classic Coffee for over 10 years. What started as a convenient study place as an APU nursing student back in 2009 has turned into my favorite spot to grab a chai latte. I don't drink coffee, as chai lattes are my version of grabbing a coffee. Hands down, Classic has the best chai lattes (and I've had chai lattes from a wide variety of coffee shops). Nothing compares! What makes Classic the best though is the kind staff that I've had the pleasure of interacting with over the years. The fact that Jonathan and several of the baristas have learned my name and gotten to know me over the years makes this place feel like more than just your average coffee shop. I've spent countless hours here for over a decade as an undergrad student, grad student, and now just as a local who enjoys a chai latte on my days off. No coffee shop compares! Not super close off the freeway, but easy to find if you're jonesing for a good cup of coffee while on a road trip. Parking is easy and the bathroom is clean as well. I had a vanilla latte which was fairly flavorful and 2 mini cinnamon rolls which mostly hit the "I need sugar" spot . All three were about $7 bucks. The staff was very very nice and service was quick. All in all, it's a spot I'd cone back to if I'm ever in the area. read more

Were all retired, like minded patriotic Americans and Veterans alike, we also enjoy spending time together sharing stories with each other at our once fav coffee place! I went to Classic Coffee for the first time with my fiancé since we were in the area and we were very disappointed. We went about three weeks ago and should have just walked out. Upon approaching the register, the girl who was taking orders was too busy talking and joking with her coworker about making sure they could clock out on time to acknowledge us even being there. I finally said hello and she told me to wait a moment while she finished her conversation. After laughing with her coworker she took my order, put the cup aside and before taking my fiancé's order, turned away to continue her conversation laughing with her coworker. The third worker who made our drinks was nice and polite. The other two workers who I'm assuming must have been dating were awful. Mind you, after taking my order, I looked and they were on their phones... I would highly suggest going anywhere else because the workers here are too busy worrying about leaving on time than doing their jobs. Also, it was only 3:15! I'm in college and I normally love to come to classic coffee to do homework. 90% of the time I am a paying customer when I use their tables, but yesterday I went to Starbucks (cheaper prices) instead, while my friend got a coffee from Classic. While my friend was getting her drink inside, Fred, the owner, heckled me about "using the electricity and taking up space at a table just to eat my bagel". I told him "my friend is coming too" because I was sort of creeped out and did not want him to think I was alone. I had no clue who this guy was and he didn't make his intentions very clear. He proceeded to say "It doesn't matter" and rolled his eyes. Instead of introducing himself as the owner, I thought some old guy was yelling at me for no reason. He could have just said "Hey, these tables are for customers only" and I would have explained that my friend is inside getting a drink. TO FRED, This is not the correct way to treat returning and paying customers. Sorry you have a hate for Starbucks but don't be so pretentious. Your drinks are double the price and watered down. My daughter was refused candy at the trick or treat event because "she was too old". She spent so much time and effort on her costume. Shame on them for breaking her spirit. I've tried giving this place so many chances but I feel 2 stars is being generous at this point. Sugar free flavorings are okay. The oat milk doesn't taste very oat-y, but it also doesn't have a sour taste like some other places. The service depends on who is there that day. Online ordering and having it be ready and correct when you get there is very inconsistent. Many times I will ask for sugar free hazelnut and they just don't bother reading the notes? Breakfast wraps are frequently not heated all the way and are still frozen in the center? The final straw that made me write my review was when I went back JUST for a wrap because the coffee is so mids, and once I got in my car I realized the bag was full of what I assume to be frozen wrap runoff? The weird frozen sausage water cleansed my mind and I knew in that moment it was my last visit to classic coffee. If you like to get an average cup of coffee and feel like starting your morning with coffee roulette, 10/10, this is the place. read more

I have been a resident of Glendora for over 30 years and have gone to Classic Coffee countless times over the last 12 years. However, today is the last time I will patronize this establishment. This morning the customer before me ordered 9 drinks so when I placed my order, they reasonably stated that it might take a little while. Fair enough....I stood right in front of the pick-up and waited patiently. Shortly after, 2 customers (a white female and white male) came in and went to the register. Not long after both had individually visited the register, a man came out from the back and handed the gentlemen his order; a large container of coffee. I thought to myself well it's probably a case of drip coffee which is easy to just pour and hand out, no big deal. Then the woman (who was now standing 3 feet to my left) received her iced coffee while the large order placed before me was still being worked on. Annoying, but let me give benefit of the doubt that maybe my simple hot mocha is about to come out. Three more customers came in and placed orders (1 white male and 2 white females) and one of those orders was handed out just before the 9 coffee order was handed out and then the other 2 were served, and I still had no coffee. I went up to the barista and asked if I may know what is going on with my hot mocha. She replied that they did not have a hot mocha. I said this is ridiculous, I have been standing here for a long time and the order was never called out. An older man, who I assume was in charge based on the fact that he spoke to most of the other customers and did not seem tied to any one duty behind the counter, asked what my name was and then said someone else probably took the coffee. I replied that I was standing there the whole time and the order was never called out. I said I would like to be refunded, as I had already spent enough time there. He coldly went to the register and punched in the refund and sent me on my way. No apology, no remorse, no ask how he can make it right...just here is your money now leave. I genuinely hope this is just incompetence and poor service. However, having grown up in Glendora from the late 70s to early 90s, and returning to raise my own family here in 2007, I have had countless experiences where I was treated less than welcome as the sole brown face in a local establishment. I will not return to Classic Coffee and risk being treated like I am not as valuable as every other paying customer. read more

I love this place, anytime I have a friend over whether they live close by or are visiting from out of state i just have to take them here. I have also managed to get some friends hooked on this place. The chai tea latte is amazing. Starbucks chai is watered down and tasteless compared to this. The iced chai with half spice half vanilla is perfect. I love very close to Classic Coffee and anytime I walk by or I'm downtown i just have to stop by and get this drink. When it's hotter and I want something lighter I go for their ice teas which are always good whether it's a basic green tea or it's a tea of the month like a desert pear. Parking is 20min for the green painted line and the regular parking is not painted try looking for those. I paid almost 4.50 for a 16 oz medium latte. And 3.50 for a cinnamon roll. Not bad. Classic has a La Marzocco espresso machine, which is reason enough to come here, even if just to look at it. They removed the glass wall from in front of it so you can touch it, if you wish. I did. I am not a regular, and in the big small town of Glendora, I bet Classic treats regulars warmly. I did not get that, but that's ok, the coffee should speak for itself. Which is why I give only 2 stars. Rather than serve espresso in what should be Italian ceramic warmed on top of the La Marzocco, I was given mine in a paper cup. Oy vey.
