I write to update my review on the grounds that: 1) It's their 10-year anniversary 2) They are as good as it gets 3) Looking back, my last review was impressively embarrassing (hindsight-- it's always 20/20) For those of you studying/working, FYI: WiFi & electrical outlets galore. For the rest of us: I have a disposition to try something, like it, fixate and obsessively order it (I like to call that 'loyalty'). Thus, I've made some lucrative investments in Classic Coffee's drinks: iced almond americano, frozen hot chocolate, latte, horchata with a shot (or seven) of espresso, et al. If none of that gastronomically seduces you, they can basically make you whatever you want. This is what dreams are made of. That said, their (customer) service is a marvel. They're helpful and friendly and provide a source of caffeine, so what else an a coffee addict ask for? Nothing, though one barista even rescued a wounded baby hummingbird from my car because I was too dramatically panicked to do it myself. If that's not excellent service... Wait, it is. I'm so grateful they haven't kicked me out though I use their shop as a campground for reading, forum for fútbol, and occasional childcare facility. I'm definitely losing my 4 years of Starbucks gold membership status since I converted to Classic. I'm gonna miss this place when I'm gone :( read more

I like this little coffee shop and the village it lives in. Good coffee drink every time. The kids that work there are nice.

Homey, not hipster. This is the coffee bar your grandma would run. Lots of little signs with inspirational sayings. If a sign in the window saying "Pray for Our Troops" is going to turn you off, then stay away! The huge plus here is the wide, wide range of beverage selections. It seems as if they have every drink, in every size, with every flavoring you could possibly want. Hot horchata? Got it covered! Prices are non-L.A. (translation: reasonable). Service is laid-back but friendly. Easy parking, on the street, or in the lot in back. read more

The city of Glendora is in general void of a coffee scene, despite being home of two college campuses. Classic Coffee is possibly the only decent option for coffee in Glendora unless you want to settle for chains like Starbucks, Peets, or Coffee Bean. While Classic is not an artisan coffeeshop like Taza in Arcadia or Klatch in San Dimas (~5 miles away), it is an outstanding traditional coffeeshop. Classic is best defined as a place to pick up a simple morning cup of coffee to-go. Good for people who consume coffee for its caffeine without much emphasis for its taste. Classic offers a full menu ranging from espressos to drip coffee to Italian soda to sugary whipped cream beverages. There are no pourovers or hand-brewed coffee at Classic, although they drip coffee using single-origin beans. Their espresso macchiato is served the European-style in a demitasse. While ordering the espresso macchiato, I was asked if I wanted the traditional version or the Starbucks version (essentially a latte). The espresso at Classic was not very dark-roasted like Starbucks but not as light as Peets. The environment at Classic was cozy, making it a relaxing destination for college students to relax at. There were over 15 tables with indoor and outdoor seating. During my visit on an early afternoon, the coffee shop was completely packed with Citrus Community College students pretending to study, surfing the net, or reading books. read more

The staff was very kind and helpful with the menu. He took his time with each guest. It was my first time there and felt very welcomed. I tried the froZen hot chocolate because I heard so many good things about it. It was delicious! It has a hint of cinnamon and the whip cream was very good. I wanted to come back to get it today but they close at 7 :( till next time read more

Great service, great hometown feel, and friendly staff. Coffee tastes better than Starbucks. If you are a night owl this is not the place....since they close early. But then again all the shops on that street close early except for a few restaurants. read more

Classic Coffee - Medium White Choc. Mocha iced with a Blueberry scone - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Glendora, California

Our go-to local coffee shop! Family owned and operated with great quality and service!

Found this place on my way to work and I'm so glad I did! I'm presently on a gluten, dairy and refined sugar free diet and it can be difficult to find delicious offerings early in the morning. My barista was happy to oblige my request and even asked me to tell him what I thought. After my first sip I realized it was better than my usual honey vanilla latte at Urth Café! The Order: Double latte with almond milk and three packs of honey dusted with cinnamon and vanilla powder! DELICUOUS!!! read more

Bad customer service. The girl behind the register was very rude and unenthusiastic to attend customers. There are definitely better coffee shops in the area. Press and flower is one great coffee shop to try out. Great coffee, great staff, and a great place to socialize. We won't be coming to this place ever again. First and last time. read more

This is definitely my favorite coffee shop in Glendora. My favorite drink to get here is the 1/2 spiced 1/2 vanilla chai, but you couldn't go wrong with getting anything else. Also, the employees are so kind and it's a perfect place to hangout or study. Highly recommend! read more

Nice staff. Also they have board games to play. Wall outlets to charge laptop. very clean and quiet. Parking is 20min for the green painted line and the regular parking is not painted try looking for those. I paid almost 4.50 for a 16 oz medium latte. And 3.50 for a cinnamon roll. Not bad. Would recommend for lactose free individuals. They have lactose milk, soy, almond, and oat milk. Good variety must come check them out read more

I have been a resident of Glendora for over 30 years and have gone to Classic Coffee countless times over the last 12 years. However, today is the last time I will patronize this establishment. This morning the customer before me ordered 9 drinks so when I placed my order, they reasonably stated that it might take a little while. Fair enough....I stood right in front of the pick-up and waited patiently. Shortly after, 2 customers (a white female and white male) came in and went to the register. Not long after both had individually visited the register, a man came out from the back and handed the gentlemen his order; a large container of coffee. I thought to myself well it's probably a case of drip coffee which is easy to just pour and hand out, no big deal. Then the woman (who was now standing 3 feet to my left) received her iced coffee while the large order placed before me was still being worked on. Annoying, but let me give benefit of the doubt that maybe my simple hot mocha is about to come out. Three more customers came in and placed orders (1 white male and 2 white females) and one of those orders was handed out just before the 9 coffee order was handed out and then the other 2 were served, and I still had no coffee. I went up to the barista and asked if I may know what is going on with my hot mocha. She replied that they did not have a hot mocha. I said this is ridiculous, I have been standing here for a long time and the order was never called out. An older man, who I assume was in charge based on the fact that he spoke to most of the other customers and did not seem tied to any one duty behind the counter, asked what my name was and then said someone else probably took the coffee. I replied that I was standing there the whole time and the order was never called out. I said I would like to be refunded, as I had already spent enough time there. He coldly went to the register and punched in the refund and sent me on my way. No apology, no remorse, no ask how he can make it right...just here is your money now leave. I genuinely hope this is just incompetence and poor service. However, having grown up in Glendora from the late 70s to early 90s, and returning to raise my own family here in 2007, I have had countless experiences where I was treated less than welcome as the sole brown face in a local establishment. I will not return to Classic Coffee and risk being treated like I am not as valuable as every other paying customer. read more

Having been a loyal Classic Coffee goer/fan for years, it was only fitting to kickoff http://eGood.com with them. Jonathan and the entire team at Classic have been an incredible help in our beta launch of eGood! As the first eGood business, Classic donates 3% of every eGood purchase to a charity. And, to update my earlier review from '09, I still love the dirty chai, but have been getting a simple latte lately, they just do it so well. Also, love their morning oatmeal with pecans and love working from their hallway for meetings and time away from the office. read more

I love Classic Coffee. I come here when I'm working from home as its a good place to sit and work. When the University is in session it can become a bit crowded but I always find a place to sit. The Chia Tea here is AMAZING! My usual order is an Iced Spiced Vanilla Chai Tea Latte with Almond Milk and I can not find anything anywhere else that is as good as Classics. They do a great job of supporting the community in different ways like supporting the Empty Cup program and the School District! The employees are always so friendly and kind. The best Egg Nog Latte out there. I love coming here to meet with friends. When I was still a student, I'd grab a slice of pizza next door and then have as much iced coffee as possible to get me through studying. I'd stay til closing most often. Everyone then was so nice when they'd serve me or politely let me know they were closing. I have a lot of good to say about Classic Coffee and I'm glad they're still around. Here's to another tall iced coffee that's always served me well. Kudos. read more

Great place to grab a fantasy cup of coffee. Great atmosphere and employees who just enhance the experience.

I've been coming to Classic Coffee since they day they opened. I have to say, over the years, they haven't changed a bit, which is definitely for the best. They're probably, no definitely, the best coffee shop in Glendora. They have a killer frozen hot chocolate that I'd recommend anyone get. Although honestly I always go back to their iced teas, as they are very refreshing on a hot day. The inside is always clean and nice. It's comfortable and well decorated. They have additional seating in the hallway, but no matter what way you look at it, it's a great place for studying. It's not overly cramped or uncomfortable. The owners are absolutely lovely and Jonathan, the manager, is equally as amazing. He's so friendly and helpful. He definitely knows what he's doing. Even better, everyone at Classic Coffee tries to involve themselves in the local community. Definitely give them a try! The area is nice, so you can even get coffee and walk around and visit the local businesses! read more

Best damn cold brew. Why? Goes down smooth. What, I'm a simple person. Threw in some lavender sweetener because life is short. Their non-caffeinated drinks and smoothies (try the piña colada) are simply amazing. Ever tried happiness in a cup? Try the Ghiradelli drinks. Frozen hot chocolate? I've had it as well. Threw a shot of espresso in it to get through "one of those days." -great free WiFi -great study spot (plugs for dayssss) -great for meetings (Not v important but there is a pet store across the street so when you're stressed you can hold animals then get back on your grind) Isn't open late, but drinks are high quality. Thankful 4u classic coffee. read more

I ordered an organic decaf with macadamia milk, and it was literally the BEST coffee I've ever had! Wish there was a "Classic Coffee" located in Pismo Beach! The help was also super nice. I have been hooked on Classic for a few years now. Its a small establishment with a very welcoming friendly environment. Staff always acknowledges you and are happy to answer any questions you have. I enjoy their Majestic Blend or French Vanilla drip coffees. Their Cold Brew is very smooth and flavorful, no need for cream or sugar and that says a lot for me. The 50/50 Chai is great hot, iced or blended. My girls enjoy the Frozen Hot Chocolate when its hot out. The one I like to splurge on is the Blended Horchata with a shot of espresso. Prices range from $3-5. read more

Very lovely coffee shop in downtown Glendora and the customer service is superb.

I've been coming to Classic Coffee for many years because it's my go to coffee place. It's located in downtown Glendora and it was my go-to place to study during finals, a place to catch up with old friends, and to just hang out and people watch. If it's a rainy day and I want to cuddle up with a good book, I'll stop at Classic Coffee for my fave cup of coffee. All their drinks are really good but my favorite is the mocha and the chai lattes. If you love chai, they have a chai flight that lets you taste their different flavors. read more

The latte here was delicious! It was very well made and the strength of the espresso balanced perfectly with the steamed/slightly frothy milk. I also really liked their Spiced Chai Latte. Like most of Downtown Glendora, this place closes pretty early (especially considering it's a coffee shop). The espresso is frothy, smooth, and lacks acidity meaning the baristas are doing a good job pulling shots. Drink prices are nothing to write home about, but they're not as absurd as some other places in Glendora/San Dimas. Wi-Fi is free with purchase; just get the password from any of the workers after ordering. The password is updated regularly, so you can't just steal broadband days later. Good place to be with friends or to study as the atmosphere encourages it. Parking can be atrocious at times. read more

This has long been my favorite local coffee house, and they have recently added something new to their coffee selection. They have a Latte Flight for $5. and a Mocha Flight for $6. You get 4 different flavors on each flight. I think each glass is about 4 oz, not really sure. Wish I had thought to take a picture. The Latte flavors are vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, and my favorite, honey lavender. I don't usually order syrup in my lattes, but the amount was perfect- not too sweet. This is a fun way to have a little of everything you like, or try new flavors. Give it a shot- pun intended. As usual, the baristas were friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. read more

This was our 1st time here and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it's the first time I have been to a place where there was plenty of places to sit. Don't get me wrong, it was jammed with the usual students and locals working the free wifi, but there was plenty of outside tables and the weather was perfect to sit outside and read the papers. We drove all the way from Rialto and it was an easy drive here and home. I had a large black and white (1 pump dark mocha, 1 pump white) and they made it perfect! Hubby had his usual Vanilla Latte.. I have to say it really is nice to see all these places using the old espresso machines. There is nothing like a perfectly pulled shot. We were impressed with it all and will most likely go back. read more

Classic Coffee - Perfect Sunday at Classic Coffee.. - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Glendora, California

Pros: Friendly staff, good ambiance Cons: A little cramped Overall: Not a bad place for coffee I was in town for the morning and decided to get something to drink before heading home. I ordered my standby - tuxedo mocha latte - and a Nutella scone. The coffee was more bitter than I prefer, but not intolerably so. The mixture tasted a bit diluted, again not awful. Just mildly disappointing. The Nutella scone, on the other hand, was excellent. Crumbly without being dry, balanced in the ratio of ingredients. It was tasty without needing to be warmed and I have not one complaint about it. read more

I saw high reviews and decided check it out It's in down town Glendora I order avocado toast and medium Americano coffee ham and cheese croissant the reason for two stars my avocado toast was flavorless on a barely toasted my bread which I looked closely they used a panini pan to toast instead of conventional oven I guess it take to much of there time which why it came apart trying to enjoy and the croissant was the same saggy bread cheese not melted and in my opinion its expensive 15 and change for 2 sandwiches and regular coffee for that price I just rather just gone to stars bucks read more

This place was 50/50, staff is great and friendly, place is spacious and clean, but the coffee isn't so great, the mocha latte I ordered was made very yummy, and the Chocolate scone was so freaking amazing!!!! the flight we ordered "the classic", with about 5 latte tasters, vanilla, butterscotch, caramel, lavender, it was good but not great, the coffee flavors were very present, and not subtle, not the typical subtle and light flavor of (example) lavender in your coffee, hey, if that's what you like, then this place is for you, you can REAAAAALLY taste the flavorings. Ty it for yourself! It doesn't hurt to try out anyway, overall it was just "ok" coffee in my opinion. Hit or miss, just like everything, because I'd definitely be back for their scone! read more
