I write to update my review on the grounds that: 1) It's their 10-year anniversary 2) They are as good as it gets 3) Looking back, my last review was impressively embarrassing (hindsight-- it's always 20/20) For those of you studying/working, FYI: WiFi & electrical outlets galore. For the rest of us: I have a disposition to try something, like it, fixate and obsessively order it (I like to call that 'loyalty'). Thus, I've made some lucrative investments in Classic Coffee's drinks: iced almond americano, frozen hot chocolate, latte, horchata with a shot (or seven) of espresso, et al. If none of that gastronomically seduces you, they can basically make you whatever you want. This is what dreams are made of. That said, their (customer) service is a marvel. They're helpful and friendly and provide a source of caffeine, so what else an a coffee addict ask for? Nothing, though one barista even rescued a wounded baby hummingbird from my car because I was too dramatically panicked to do it myself. If that's not excellent service... Wait, it is. I'm so grateful they haven't kicked me out though I use their shop as a campground for reading, forum for fútbol, and occasional childcare facility. I'm definitely losing my 4 years of Starbucks gold membership status since I converted to Classic. I'm gonna miss this place when I'm gone :( read more

I love Classic Coffee. I come here when I'm working from home as its a good place to sit and work. When the University is in session it can become a bit crowded but I always find a place to sit. The Chia Tea here is AMAZING! My usual order is an Iced Spiced Vanilla Chai Tea Latte with Almond Milk and I can not find anything anywhere else that is as good as Classics. They do a great job of supporting the community in different ways like supporting the Empty Cup program and the School District! The employees are always so friendly and kind. Best damn cold brew. Why? Goes down smooth. What, I'm a simple person. Threw in some lavender sweetener because life is short. Their non-caffeinated drinks and smoothies (try the piña colada) are simply amazing. Ever tried happiness in a cup? Try the Ghiradelli drinks. Frozen hot chocolate? I've had it as well. I've been coming to Classic Coffee since they day they opened. I have to say, over the years, they haven't changed a bit, which is definitely for the best. They're probably, no definitely, the best coffee shop in Glendora. They have a killer frozen hot chocolate that I'd recommend anyone get. Although honestly I always go back to their iced teas, as they are very refreshing on a hot day. The inside is always clean and nice. It's comfortable and well decorated. They have additional seating in the hallway, but no matter what way you look at it, it's a great place for studying. It's not overly cramped or uncomfortable. The owners are absolutely lovely and Jonathan, the manager, is equally as amazing. He's so friendly and helpful. He definitely knows what he's doing. Even better, everyone at Classic Coffee tries to involve themselves in the local community. Definitely give them a try! The city of Glendora is in general void of a coffee scene, despite being home of two college campuses. Classic Coffee is possibly the only decent option for coffee in Glendora unless you want to settle for chains like Starbucks, Peets, or Coffee Bean. While Classic is not an artisan coffeeshop like Taza in Arcadia or Klatch in San Dimas (~5 miles away), it is an outstanding traditional coffeeshop. Classic is best defined as a place to pick up a simple morning cup of coffee to-go. Good for people who consume coffee for its caffeine without much emphasis for its taste. Classic offers a full menu ranging from espressos to drip coffee to Italian soda to sugary whipped cream beverages. There are no pourovers or hand-brewed coffee at Classic, although they drip coffee using single-origin beans. Their espresso macchiato is served the European-style in a demitasse. While ordering the espresso macchiato, I was asked if I wanted the traditional version or the Starbucks version (essentially a latte). The espresso at Classic was not very dark-roasted like Starbucks but not as light as Peets. The environment at Classic was cozy, making it a relaxing destination for college students to relax at. There were over 15 tables with indoor and outdoor seating. During my visit on an early afternoon, the coffee shop was completely packed with Citrus Community College students pretending to study, surfing the net, or reading books. read more

I have been coming into this coffee shop regularly and also regularly order from them through DoorDash with the intention to support a local coffee shop. Every time I order in store I leave a tip. Today, I had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a drink and a pastry and the total came out to $10.35. I had exactly $10.34 and commented to the cashier and asked if she was willing to overlook the missing penny. She did not answer me and when I asked again, she very coldly and rudely said they would needing the penny. She would not process the transaction or help in any way until I could produce $0.01. She was also loud and rude about it which was humiliating. I wonder if she treats all customers this way. The people behind me noticed and made comments in disbelief. One nice customer gave me the penny and I handed it over. I could have just walked out of the store with that rude, insensitive treatment but I wanted to be considerate of the fact that they had already began making the drink. Needless to say, this humiliating experience definitely made me feel very badly and I am appalled that this is acceptable customer service. I've been coming to Classic Coffee for many years because it's my go to coffee place. It's located in downtown Glendora and it was my go-to place to study during finals, a place to catch up with old friends, and to just hang out and people watch. If it's a rainy day and I want to cuddle up with a good book, I'll stop at Classic Coffee for my fave cup of coffee. All their drinks are really good but my favorite is the mocha and the chai lattes. This has long been my favorite local coffee house, and they have recently added something new to their coffee selection. They have a Latte Flight for $5. and a Mocha Flight for $6. You get 4 different flavors on each flight. I think each glass is about 4 oz, not really sure. Wish I had thought to take a picture. The Latte flavors are vanilla, hazelnut, caramel, and my favorite, honey lavender. I don't usually order syrup in my lattes, but the amount was perfect- not too sweet. The best Egg Nog Latte out there. I love coming here to meet with friends. When I was still a student, I'd grab a slice of pizza next door and then have as much iced coffee as possible to get me through studying. I'd stay til closing most often. Everyone then was so nice when they'd serve me or politely let me know they were closing. I have a lot of good to say about Classic Coffee and I'm glad they're still around. I ordered my standby - tuxedo mocha latte - and a Nutella scone. The coffee was more bitter than I prefer, but not intolerably so. The mixture tasted a bit diluted, again not awful. Just mildly disappointing. The Nutella scone, on the other hand, was excellent. Crumbly without being dry, balanced in the ratio of ingredients. This place was 50/50, staff is great and friendly, place is spacious and clean, but the coffee isn't so great, the mocha latte I ordered was made very yummy, and the Chocolate scone was so freaking amazing!!!! the flight we ordered "the classic", with about 5 latte tasters, vanilla, butterscotch, caramel, lavender, it was good but not great, the coffee flavors were very present, and not subtle, not the typical subtle and light flavor of (example) lavender in your coffee, hey, if that's what you like, then this place is for you, you can REAAAAALLY taste the flavorings. I took my kids to downtown Glendora for trick or treating because they had no school today. The Karen handing out candy there told my oldest daughter, who is 11, that she couldn't have any because it was for preschool children. I have been here a few times with the most recent visit being this weekend. Everytime I come here the service is so great and everyone is so nice. With everything going on everyone seemed so happy mask and all! I usually get the basics, an Iced Americano or Iced Latte, and they are always well made and tasty. I've been going here for as long as I can remember. I could always count on them for a great tasting coffee or tea. You seriously can't go wrong with any option. Normally whenever I go in, I just ask the employee to make me what they recommend. I also substitute milk for their oat milk or almond milk and you cannot taste the difference. Since I am not a huge coffee drinker, I was quite happy to see a variety of non-coffee drinks on the menu such as smoothies, teas, and Italian sodas! The espresso is frothy, smooth, and lacks acidity meaning the baristas are doing a good job pulling shots. Drink prices are nothing to write home about, but they're not as absurd as some other places in Glendora/San Dimas. Wi-Fi is free with purchase; just get the password from any of the workers after ordering. The password is updated regularly, so you can't just steal broadband days later. Good place to be with friends or to study as the atmosphere encourages it. Parking can be atrocious at times. read more

This was our 1st time here and we really enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly and helpful and it's the first time I have been to a place where there was plenty of places to sit. Don't get me wrong, it was jammed with the usual students and locals working the free wifi, but there was plenty of outside tables and the weather was perfect to sit outside and read the papers. We drove all the way from Rialto and it was an easy drive here and home. I had a large black and white (1 pump dark mocha, 1 pump white) and they made it perfect! Hubby had his usual Vanilla Latte..
