Keya S.

I just wanted to update my review, I have been coming back quite a few times as I love the location and I'm really more into boutique coffee shops over the big corporations. I haven't experienced any negatives in that at least 8-10 times I've been in. The service has always been good, haven't seen any of the tables be left dirty. And the lines have been moving. Thank you so much.

Today was my last day coming to Classic Coffee. It's frustrating because I love their coffee, but 90% of the interactions I have here are me smiling and saying hi to the baristas while they talk to me like they're bothered by me being there. Walked in today and said hi to the young blonde girl at the register, who didn't offer any kind of smile or semblance of someone who worked in customer service. Just a hi while she waited for me to order as she looked down at the screen. Her face made me feel like I ruined her day just by being there. I figured I'd still order, but they were out of what I wanted, so I took it as my sign that I shouldn't even waste my money on bad hospitality and mean girl attitudes. Finally tried Kamden Coffee 5 minutes down the street! Super friendly baristas and fantastic coffee. I wish I was more impressed with Classic Coffee, but it's been one too many experiences like this now. I'll go elsewhere next time. Do better.

Classic Coffee said no matcha today, but the short-haired queen behind the counter was so sweet I got emotionally guilt-tripped into staying... and honestly, no regrets!! Ended up with a Ghirardelli white mocha latte and two pistachio macarons, which felt like the universe saying, "fine, have dessert for coffee instead." The latte had that rich nutty chocolatey vibe with a solid white chocolate flavor, and the macarons were the perfect little side quest snack. Great drinks, cozy stop, and service so nice it could probably heal a broken heart!! Lol

solid local place for coffee drinks and snacks. They stay on top of different flavor trends and offer great selection of treats too. Had a simple iced coffee as it was warm. Blueberry scone was tasty also. Busy location in the heart of downtown Glendora.

Glendora fog

There's public lot parking or street parking. There's few seating but it's best to grab a drink and go. Otherwise it can be a nice place to meet a friend. The line could be long but it moves quick. The staff are nice and friendly. The noise level is decent. There's a restroom key that might be a bit tricky to open the door. They'll call your name for your drink. I got the glendora fog. It was hot so I waited before drinking. It's pretty good. There's a few pastries I'd like to try. I'd return to try more of the menu.

Banana bread latte

I stopped by Classic Coffee before work and tried their banana bread latte -- it was SO good. The flavor was perfect and definitely one of the better specialty lattes I've had lately. The inside is really cozy and comfortable, making it a nice spot to relax for a bit. I also love that they open early because it makes it easy to grab coffee before heading to work. Friendly atmosphere and great coffee I'll definitely be coming back! 10/10 . Service was quick I was in and out

Tucked in the middle of downtown Glendora classic coffee has something for everyone. Inside of the shop is cozy and quaint with a good amount of tables and chairs throughout the cafe. Service is friendly and fast, you get your coffee in a good amount of time. I stopped in a decided to try the first thing I saw since I was in a bit of a rush and could not make up my mind which was the banana bread latte and I was happy with that choice. Their monkey matcha coffee was so balanced and the banana flavor was very rich, it felt like the name should be banana bread batter instead. I loved the combination of the two and would definitely recommend to anyone here. Price point is fair for about $5 I get an awesome coffee. This coffee was so great I came back the next day to have the same thing, and I'm sure I'll be back again soon!

After breakfast, enjoyed a brief walk in downtown Glendora and stopped by this coffee shop to enjoy these treats. Customer service was great. Enjoyed sitting outside to people watch.

Spanish Latte (Medium - Iced - $6.70)
Ian A.

Classic Coffee (Glendora) brewed a storm of emotions within me. Literal tears of joy cascaded, and the urge to scream from happiness built up. "Classic Coffee (Glendora) is one of THE BEST coffee locations in SGV!!!" I ordered the Spanish Latte ($6.70 - Medium - iced). This unique, memorable drink includes espresso, sweetened condensed milk, and a touch of cinnamon. The Spanish Latte immensely impressed me with its delightful flavor, caffeine's strength, and high-quality ingredients. The iced Spanish Latte is exceedingly delicious. It's strong yet its sweetness is almost gentle. To my immense joy, Classic Coffee (Glendora) does not water down their drinks. Rather, the professionally brewed espresso lovingly shines through. With a soft sigh, the gentle aftertaste of cinnamon only brightens this splendid, wondrous beverage. Classic Coffee (Glendora) is a college student's paradise. This clean, well-ventilated location has public wifi, soft music, gender neutral restroom, and many electric outlets for devices. The location is fairly busy, yet it's quiet and cozy. It's a popular location, yet there's many tables inside and outside. Classic Coffee (Glendora) is located in the family friendly Glendora Village Shopping District, so there's plenty of free nearby public parking. Staff is cordial, professional, and efficient. Staff moved smoothly like clockwork. The staff at the register (receipt said Jonathon) is hardworking and welcoming. The drink arrived in four minutes and 36 seconds. Classic Coffee's ambiance is cozy and comfortable. The interior's colors and decor are calming and relaxing. The tables are very clean. If I were to nitpick, the trashcans in Classic Coffee (Glendora) fill up quickly; I had difficulty putting my empty cup in the nearby trash since it's full. In addition, the floor needed a couple more sweeps since I noticed bits of trash (ex: food crumbs, paper bits) under a couple tables. Regardless, Classic Coffee (Glendora) is relatively very clean. Overall, Classic Coffee (Glendora) is simply outstanding. Its "Best Coffee Shop Award" awarded 9 times from the San Gabriel Valley Tribune's Readers Choice Awards is well earned and justly deserved. Its location is exceptional for study groups and customers needing to work on their devices. In addition, the iced Spanish Latte is memorable, strong, and exquisite. I wholeheartedly recommend Classic Coffee (Glendora). I will happily return. 5 out of 5

Banana Bread Latte
Victoria C.

I was in between getting the cookie butter or the banana bread latte so I asked the girl taking my order what she recommended. The banana bread latte was her recommendation and I was surprised how good it tasted. It was the perfect taste of banana it didn't have a fake taste to it like most banana flavored things can have. This place gets very busy on a Saturday lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating as well. Some people were reading books, some doing work, and big groups of people outside, it gave that small town coffee shop feel.

Iced Banana Bread Latte

Tried this place for the first time and was taken back with how friendly and conversational the workers are. They knew all the customers by name when they came up and had a nice conversation with me about what to order. I ended up going with an Iced Banana Bread Latte. It was so delicious and tasted like they used fresh bananas either for the syrup or in the actual latte. Really cool place.

Iced latte with cinnamon powder

Wait, this is a long overdue yelp review!! I absolutely love this coffee shop! The vibes are unmatched ..cozy, welcoming, and filled with that charming small-town feel. It's nestled in the cutest part of downtown Glendora, surrounded by beautiful trees and local shops. I love sitting by the window or out on the patio, just soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Their menu has so much variety; from coffee to teas, matcha, and plenty of food options. It's exciting knowing there's always something new to try each time I visit. The Vietnamese iced coffee and matcha are my go-tos, but honestly, you can't go wrong here. The service is always friendly, and I appreciate that they even offer Stevia as a sweetener option (hard to find in a lot of local cafés!). I also love that they host family-friendly events ; it really makes this place feel like a community hub, not just a coffee shop. Whether you're studying, catching up with friends, or just enjoying a quiet morning, Classic Coffee is a Glendora gem that keeps me coming back.

But, there are other reasons to visit this charming café. Specialty lattes are made with beans from Mexico and their ceremonial matcha is sourced directly from Kagoshima, Japan. The freshly baked goods in the display case are made by Stephanie with love. They also serve stuffed bagels, sandwiches, & wraps. Despite being tucked away from the street, on the side of a building, it's a popular place. Luckily, our party of 7 was able to secure a spot. Most of the crew got Lattes with foam art, which were extremely cute. I opted for an Iced Tea to combat the summer heat. Pastries & a Chicken Panini sandwich were also ordered. I had a bite of the Cinnamon Roll & S'mores Cookie. Both were exceptionally good. The cream cheese frosting on the cinnamon roll was light on the sweetness level and the cookie was a delightful indulgence. Everyone enjoyed their selections, and we had a wonderful time catching up. *Private parking lot.

As well as having…read moreincredible coffee, which started me on my coffee journey, the staff are incredible, the managers Adam and David do an amazing job to make the place feel like a warm and caring environment. Employees there are very kind and seem to take an interest in everyone who walks in the door. Recently an incident occurred that I have nothing but respect for how the staff handled. A now former regular, who I will be keeping anonymous for obvious reasons, was banned from the store for openly racist remarks and verbally harassing staff. I was not personally present for it, but that is accurate to my experience with said person. They have repeatedly made racist and classist comments and have pretty heavy handedly push their ideological views to me. After banning said customer, they proceeded to threaten and harass the staff, from what I saw in regards to the banning, the manager Adam handled it with more respect and elegance than I believed necessary. Despite his tact, she took that as an opportunity to go on a tangent of excessive profanity and slurs. I think it's very telling about the type of people who work at Penny that they value maintaining a safe and welcoming environment even in the face of bullying and harassment. I've never felt more inclined to go to penny than I do now. Thank you guys for what you do and keep up the good work. You guys are rock stars fr!!

Over the years, I've spent…read morethousands of dollars here and have recommended the shop to many friends and others in the coffee community. Unfortunately, my experience with the shop changed because of repeated interactions with the store manager, Adam and the event that had just happened. I want the owners to be aware of concerns I have regarding the atmosphere created by management. On multiple occasions, I have heard Adam speak negatively about the owners and other baristas in front of customers. I have also experienced him bringing personal and political opinions into conversations while working, which I feel creates an uncomfortable/unprofessional environment. He works every Monday so I can't even sit on the only couch and drink my coffee in peace, he's always talking nonsense and forcing his personal opinions down my throat. He never stops talking, and if you try to share your opinion, he talks right over you. He has a veryyy hard time accepting viewpoints that differ from his own. He's honestly on some sort of power trip. The most concerning incident occurred recently when Adam yelled in my face while inside the coffee shop!! Then the other barista, David got involved with his encouragement during this interaction. They surrounded me and were trying to intimidate me together and at that time there were no other customers in the store, and when I tried to speak to them to tell them to stop yelling at me- they went at me harder to the point I had to literally run out of the shop bc I didn't feel safe there. It's the first time I have ever had two men corner me and yell at me- it was honestly traumatizing. After leaving, I informed David that I would never be returning. I believed that would be the end of the situation. However, David provided Adam with my personal phone number without my permission, and Adam contacted me by text after I had already left the store in an effort to intimidate me further. During that exchange, Adam also accused me of being racist. I found it completely inappropriate that my personal information was shared without my consent so that a workplace conflict could continue outside of the store. I also want to address an issue with David. Throughout my visits, you have repeatedly attempted to hug me or touch me when I came into the shop. Regardless of your intentions, this made me uncomfortable. Customers should not be touched without their consent. I also work in the business of customer service, and I understand the importance of professionalism. I would never speak negatively about my employer to customers, push personal or political views on people supporting my business, yell at a customer, or use a customer's personal information to continue a confrontation after they leave. It's disappointing because I did like this coffee shop and wanted to continue supporting it. However, my experiences with Adam and David traumatized me. I hope the owners take these concerns seriously and address them so other customers do not have similar experiences.

Parking is easy since the parking lot is BIG and spacious. Staff is very friendly, welcoming, and professional. Staff quickly answered any questions. Customers can order at the counter or self-service kiosk. My drink took two minutes and five seconds. Quick! As mentioned, I liked the Blushe ($5 -- 70% Sugar). It's a tea with good ingredients, but personally I'd recommend selecting a lower sweetness. Also, if you're not a fan of rose or perfume-like drinks, this might not be fit your palate. Still, it's prepared thoughtfully, and the price is ridiculously competitive. I sipped with a small smile. On ambiance, Yoxi Teatime (Glendora) is an AMAZING option for study/work. The location is well-maintained and generous! The air condition is STRONG, and the location is chill and refreshing. There's also about four electrical outlets. Plenty of seating to relax with nice, relaxing lighting. We tried the popcorn chicken, rose milk tea w/ boba, and the donburi rice bowl. Popcorn Chicken: 4.5/5 The chicken was nice and crispy, but not too hard to chew. Great amount of seasoning and pretty big portion in my opinion. Filling on its own. The only complaint is we asked for mild and got a pretty spicy flavor which made it a bit hard to enjoy. Would love to know if this was truly their mild or if it was mistaken. Rose Milk Tea: 5/5 My absolute favorite choice from today was the rose milk tea with boba. It had a nice floral tone and the proper tea to milk ratio. Not too sweet and the warm boba complimented the drink so nicely. Would absolutely recommend coming to try this out. Donburi Beef Rice Bowl: 4/5 While an extremely flavorful entree, the portion size of the beef was lacking. The egg is a really nice touch and mixes well with the savory beef, however, it is not enough to compensate for the little amount of beef. It leaves you wanting more and you're left with a lot of rice. For the price, I'd expect just even a tiny bit more beef. Overall though, solid entree with lots of savory flavors. Would absolutely recommend if you're in the area and you're looking for a nice milk tea spot that also offers food. They offer student discount if you're attending the nearby schools which is pretty cool. Come support!
