Ambience is great, I like the indoor seating inside the shop and the nearby wide hallway. They also have outdoor seating, very clean and many options for drinks. I wish the prices were lower, because as of right now (sept 2024), the prices for some of the drinks are close to $10. It really deters me and others who like tea and coffee. I'd like to support it, but $7-$10 for 1 drink is definitely not worth it, especially for the smaller sizes. Unless the prices are adjusted, I'll just be going to other cafes. read more

Not a local to the area but since I love trying out different coffee shops and had a great rating I made the little drive from Montebello with my doggo. Honestly, I had no clue what to order since all the menu items sounded delicious and the drinks other people were ordering looked so good! so, I ended up getting The Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk 1/2 sweetened and a chocolate chip cookie both delicious! It's located near cute shops and restaurants to walk around with a public restroom located outside, as well as a restroom inside! Good drinks, good bakery items. I enjoy coming here when I'm in Glendora. However, it seems like the place needs a good deep cleaning. The floors are grungy, trash cans are kind of gross looking, and the bathroom was very dirty. The bathroom floors look like they haven't been cleaned in a few weeks at least. It's a high traffic coffee shop so I'm sure it gets dirty quick, but it needs a little more attention in this area. read more

I came in for a quick 30 minute break from momming. It was pretty busy for 8:30am on a Tuesday, but I guess it's everyone else's holiday break as well. I requested a medium latte with one pump of sugar free vanilla. I don't like my coffee very sweet, and usually get it plain, but wanted a tiny bit of sweetness today. When my drink came out, I don't know how much sweetener they put in it, but it was way more than I asked for. I had to wait till I got home so I could cut it with milk and more espresso from my dad's machine. I will say this was more frustrating than it normally would have been, as I don't often have a chance to get away from being a mom. I also got a chocolate croissant which was super disappointing. I only took one bite. I'm not sure if anyone here has been to Tous Les Jours, but few things measure up after having their pastries. The young lady who took my order was really polite and sweet. I like their little outdoor seating area. The ambience inside is really nice as well--good for a little remote work or a time out. I'm only vising from Utah, or I'd probably try again. read more

Authentic lattes with very great recipes! You can tell they really took the time to test and try out their combinations and flavors. I come about once every weekend and they do not disappoint! The staff is very friendly and have great recommendations. There was a visit where my latte tasted a little off and they took it back and let me switch my order without hesitation. Pros:This place totally gives me East Coast vibes. It smaller like pastries and fresh bagels in here. There was a more hustle and bustle vibe which is different than a lot of other specialty coffee shops which tend to be more chill but that aspect made it fun. Pecan bar was super tasty. Cons: I got a French toast iced latte and honestly it had a fake flavoring taste to it like they put too much syrup where it almost had an alcohol after taste. I enjoy going to different coffee shops, sadly this place was not what I expected. Servers/Cashiers are rude. At least on the day I went they were. One Server in particular was very friendly and helpful in making my decision due to everything I wanted or asked for was apparently out. I agreed to his suggestion, and it was ok. I was not thrilled, my little one did enjoy his grilled cheese and chocolate milk. They are located in downtown Glendora. I love the feel and the atmosphere of the downtown area. I am not sure what happended but I think they lost thier touch on coffee. This coffee shop is located on the downtown path off of Glendora Blvd. Parking is decent in front of the business, allowing 3 hours of free access. Coffee is made fresh for you and takes a few minutes. As I waited, a woman took my dark roast coffee and walked out with her family members. I thought at first it was her coffee. When I asked the staff, they told me it was mine and not hers, especially since she didn't place an order. She was long gone by the time I looked outside the premises. No stars are now deserved. I'm a 50+ year resident of Glendora and have regularly patronized the downtown Glendora shops and restaurants for decades. I've been a customer of Classic Coffee ever since they first opened in 2004. That's 20 years worth of lattes and pastries. During the 'Covid shutdowns' from 2020-2021, when small businesses were being driven out of business by County and CA state tyranny, I went out of my way to further my $ support to our downtown restaurants & Classic Coffee in particular. Including several $100 tips thrown into their tip jar to do my part in helping staff survive. That along with strong statements/comments made at Glendora City Council Meetings in support of Classic Coffee and other impacted downtown restaurants fighting county regulations, taxes and most recently, new local outdoor dining fees and regulations. Over that same Covid period, I serendipitously met a handful of other men and women of like mind and we soon started regularly meeting at Classic Coffee in the mornings to socialize and quite frankly, fellowship. Included in our group: four veterans who served and saw combat duty in Vietnam, a local Pastor and retired LAFD Captain, a Deputy CA DA, and a retired LA County Superior Court Judge. We regularly spent a lot of $$ there each week. But today, Flag Day 2023, we were all permanently banned from Classic Coffee. Why? We evidently had the nerve to bring food and drink items purchased from other local stores IN ADDITION to what we regularly purchased at Classic Coffee. Fred the owner, actually called Glendora PD to come out and give us formal notice to leave and never return else be subject to criminal trespass. I left prior to that exchange but will never set foot or spend another dime there ever again. I encourage everyone reading this to do the same. So, that's how this place treats their best long term customers; & Veterans and women on Flag Day, no less. Go elsewhere. read more

I went to Classic Coffee today at 8:30a, this a.m. I ordered a strawberry & banana smoothie ( I use to order these all the time & loved them); well not today. I watched my smoothie being made- approx 1/2" of banana flavoring & 1/2" of strawberry syrup-then 1" of water & an entire large cup of ice. It was mixed together. After calling the wrong name of Susie- & watching it just sit, I decided to check if it was indeed mine. I just knew it wasn't mine. My name is not Susie. Well, it was mine & they called the wrong name although my correct name was on the cup. I retrieved my smoothie walked outside & took 2 gulps and threw it away ($8.40). It tasted like water with a DROP of flavoring; not what I expected for $8.40! I will never go back. It was such a complete disappointment. read more

Room for improvement: The staff feels hardly fake friendly at the surface. Not authentically warm and inviting. The environment is clean and sterile feeling, but doesn't have a comfortable community vibe. Maybe some better cozier furniture might help. Regular drip coffee is always burnt and bitter. I've thrown mine out the last several times after leaving the place. Disappointing. Not interested in buying earrings and other random items at a coffee shop. I ordered a pretzel croissant sandwich from Uber Eats and got this instead! Don't know wtf it was. It looked like sausage and egg but had no flavor, was cold, and tasted disgusting. It tasted like one of those Jimmy Dean microwaveables or something from a hospital cafeteria. I had to eat it trying not to puke because I was hungry and already paid for it. Not sure how they could get this confused with a pretzel croissant. If they ran out they should be calling the customer. I feel like they took advantage of the situation because I ordered from Uber Eats and not in person and gave me whatever they felt like. Will never order from here again and will tell people I know not to order from them. This is such a cute homey coffee shop! It's located right in downtown Glendora and has been voted SGV's best coffee shop for 5 years in a row. They have outdoor seating and indoor seating. I would totally study here next time I'm in the area. There was a long line when I got there at around noon. I ordered the Nitro cold brew and my boyfriend ordered the horchata frappe and cold brew. The nitro was nice and refreshing. I love the vibe it gives off too! They even had cute holiday decorations and holiday drinks! I have been coming to this spot weekly for the last few months with my 5 year old daughter before her art class. We always split a breakfast sandwich and a cookie. The service is very hit or miss. It can be excellent, to downright cold and horrible. Today is likely my last visit. I placed my order, received my coffee and cookie, and waited at the other end for my sandwich. 10 min later, I'm still without my sandwich. It's not that busy and there's 4 workers behind the counter. One of the baristas asks if I'm waiting for food and goes to check on it. The young man (I believe they called him Matt) who was working on the hot food said he did not know. As he comes over to the coffee machines, I ask him if my sandwich is coming. He fails to make eye contact with me, dismissively says "Yeah" and walks away (yes, I'm annoyed at this point). I tell the barista what sandwich I ordered again. The cashier says it's now coming out of the microwave and going to the grill. The barista takes it upon herself to get my sandwich because there's no sense of urgency from anyone else (the other barista, who's a rockstar when she works the register, was busy making drinks). I asked her what the issue was and she apologizes and said they likely forgot. At this point my daughter and I do not have any time left to sit and enjoy our food because it's time for class (we had 20 min allotted). As we're leaving, I hear Matt yelling at the other employees about where the sandwich is. The barista tells him she already gave it to me. There's no apology from him or anyone else. Ownership of the mistake would have kept me from sharing this, since I paid/tipped with my money and time, and was robbed of my morning meal time with my daughter. Thank you to the barista for getting my item and the genuine apology. The tip should go to her, cuz everyone else dropped the ball. read more

The pistachio macarons were amazing, ham and cheese croissant was amazing and pretty petite compared to donut shops. i also got the egg white, spinach and feta cheese wrap, that was okay. It didn't really have much feta flavor coming through, which is what I was looking forward to.
