We happened upon this place on a road trip, and discovered a hidden gem in Wallace. Would never had found it if not for Yelp. Colorful local atmosphere; in an old mining town making itself over as a skiing and snowshoeing place. But be prepared to be run over by a snowmobile. They make all their brews onsite, since the restaurant is also North Idaho Mountain Brewery. I tried the Cripple Creek IPA, and would have another. Really good food. I had a lofted pork tenderloin sandwich with apple - onion jam and warm Brie and spinach leaves on a soft Hoagie roll. Well done! read more

Great place! Ended up here with a big group of people (about 15) and the service was amazing! They have a private room for big groups and were even kind enough to split the check for everyone. This place seems popular so we thought we'd check it out. Fortunately the beer on tap was decent and the bartenders knew what they were doing, so it gets a couple of stars for that. But the food ... no stars for that. What we ordered was made with cheap ingredients and not much talent. For example the "loaded nachos" were made with cheez whiz, tasteless tortilla chips and very little meat. There are plenty of other brew pubs to visit in Wallace. read more

This place was great! City Limits was recommended to us by our Airbnb host because he has had numerous great experiences there- and our two nights there did not disappoint. The scotch egg app was really good (my husband ordered it and I was pleasantly surprised) the pulled pork is homemade and really good and the beers where all flavorful- the Loft honey beer is a little sweet and crisp- definitely worth trying. Overall, they were busy, working hard and the food came out in an appropriate amount of time and my water got refilled regularly. read more

Stop and enjoy some great beer. The atmosphere is awesome! You can even camp here. The food was pretty good. It was just a great experience to stop here. This brew pub restaurant is a gem! I had the fish tacos and my husband had the chicken sandwich. This definitely not fast food but worth it. The beer was great too. I had the blood orange ipa and hubby had the citra. Sabrina was a great server and kept us chuckling throughout our meal and because it was busy we ate at the bar. Great experience! read more

Beyond awful service--non-service, and willfully not by accident. I was alone for breakfast and the waitress walked back and forth next to my booth for 15 minutes without saying hello let alone giving a menu or taking my order, instead waiting on the booths on either side of me that had more people ($$) and passing me by literally ten times. Incredibly rude. A guy had to come out from behind the bar 100 ft away and walk across the restaurant to take my order. He apologized that they were "busy"--there were only five occupied tables in the entire restaurant and two waitresses. After eating, I had to get up and walk across the restaurant to ask the waitress for the check, because nobody came back to my table to check the entire time. She's standing next to the register and says "I can get that" but instead starts walking aimlessly around the restaurant without getting check. She starts *adjusting tables* in an empty part of the restaurant--that happens to be right in front of me--to make a show "look at me, I'm not getting your check." Passive aggressive. Finally she comes over and says "I can take your card"--without actually bringing the check! I say "I'd like the check." She responds by trying to give a "Whaahh?" look as if it was strange to want to get the check before handing over your credit card. read more

Fantastic service and food. Went in with 4 adults 3 kids. No eye rolls or shitty looks from staff. Very accommodating with the kids and attentive. Food was outstanding. Went for lunch and dinner. Had the fish and chips-great. Taco salad was my wife's fare, not my style but she said it was great and ordered it for dinner as well. Philly for dinner was fantastic. Beef was spot on tender and the onions peppers and mushrooms were great. This place is top notch and would hold its own in Boise or Portland and shines in Wallace. Just passing thru town and our hotel recommended the place. We were very pleasantly surprised. If you're looking for white table clothes and suited wait staff....this ain't it. The staff are super friendly as were the other customers. The food is great. We had the Pizza Panini and the Cheese Steak. Watched the game on the huge screen. Good job on servers and quickness of helping. Took a while for food to come. Appetizers were pretty good as well. Had a broccoli soup with chicken. Chicken was kind of dry. Pretzels were pretty good especially the sauces. I had a chicken burger and couldn't even finish it because it was so dry. Friend had burger and was kind of dry as well. This place was simply wonderful. For an appetizer we had the pretzel and cheese sauce. It came out piping hot and just the right amount of browned and was absolutely delicious. The cheese sauce was generic nacho cheese sauce, but it really didn't matter when stacked up against the amazing pretzel. The fish tacos were also wonderful, filling, and just the right amount is spicy. The beer wasn't anything special (for an IPA labeled Citra Peak, it wasn't terribly citrusy), but neither was it bad. Service was a tad slow, but the waitress was attentive without being overbearing. All in all, we had a great time, and it will definitely be another stop if we ever go through Wallace again. read more

Normally, steamed clams are in a thin-wine sauce but at City Limits, it's the perfect amount of butter and goodness. The sauce accentuates the flavor of the clams instead of taking away from it. If your looking for something a bit more unique, the homemade raviolis are a must try. Instead of the typical small-rounded pasta, they give you three HUGE raviolis that your grandmother would make. You can order them filled with cheese or house-made sausage as well as options for the sauce. Our version was the house-made sausage wrapped in a buttery sauce with chunks of bacon. read more

Stopped here after a trail run outside of Wallace. We were on our way out to Glacier Nat Park from Spokane. This place was perfect for an early evening bite and beer. We liked the Loft Honey Strong Ale and Milk nitro stout best; took some home with us in cans and growlers! Plenty of vegan and healthier options on the menu. Our server recommended the fish tacos - amazing! Even one of the brewers/owners came by to chat at our table. We'll definitely be coming back on our next road trip. read more

Stopped at this place for lunch because it was highly recommended by locals, and we were turned away. The waitress first told us there were no tables, even though there were open available tables in sight. When we asked about those open tables she admitted that there wasn't enough staff to serve us. After reading great reviews we stopped in for lunch and were not disappointed! My mother in law and I both had the fish tacos which were delicious and very filling! My husband had the miner burger and fries and I stole a bite- great flavor! I loved the homemade burger bun. The fries were great too! Our kids had typically kid fare, chicken nuggets and fries, our daughter also had a giant pretzel and it was all delicious. No bagged chicken strips here! We also had a session ale and a blonde ale and they were very good, super flavorful! It was around 330 in the afternoon on a Monday so it was quiet inside so we didn't have any problems with service that others mentioned. We will definitely be back! read more

This place was great! They have outside patio dining but it wasn't open on the day we visited (I didn't ask why - it was a nice day so not sure). We were travelling with our dog and it was too warm to leave him in the car. The waitress said that we could order inside and then sit outside with our dog. But we didn't have to.... the waitress continued to help us outside, checked on us frequently and gave us great service even though the outside wasn't open - so nice of her! We had the raspberry wheat beer and the porter and both were good. For food we got the Miner's Delight burger and the Black and Blue burger with chicken instead of beef. Again - very yummy! The food and beers were great deals $9 and $10.50 for the burgers with tons of fries and the beers were happy hour priced at $3 for a pint. Great place! If you are in the neighborhood give it a try! Normally wouldn't order fish so inland but I had a craving. I got the fish tacos and they were amazing! They had beer batter cod which was crisp and perfectly prepared so I assume the fish and chips would be excellent as well. The other orders at the table were a chicken ceaser salad and beer brawts.
